She herd a nock and todl the kids to go hide in the small palce and said to them both"Mommy loves you btu no matter what dotn coem out unless it's em or daddy okay and press that red button"she said as she headed to the door and she was greeted with a knife stab to the side and her shoulder.

Hopping onto his superbike, Sharad gunned the engine into whisper mode and shot into the night. Worries filled his head... the Yakuza would take this time to attack. Sharad thumped the dashboard in anger. Why can't they leave us alone...
Out of nowhere, a truck marked with a "357" (a Yakuza sign) roared out of an alley behind Sharad. A bunch of thugs were on top, shouting colorful things and waving guns half the size of their bodies. Sharad swore angrily and swerved around, pulling out a couple of automatic Glock 18 pistols. He gunned one after another off the roof until there were none left but the driver, then he threw a grenade through the front window and screamed back onto the road on his bike. The truck exploded behind him. "One down..." he muttered, dialing Angel's number on his cell phone.

She saw it and she began gettign angry and whispered"your not even here for a weeka dn u already leave"she whsipered in tears as the kids crawled out of ebd and hugged her wantign sharad to see her so they projected what she had said and what was happenign

Sharad sighed and lay back on the bed, suddenly very cold. "You might, Angel..." he whispered. Moving silently, he got up and put his clothes and armor on, then slipped a note silently under the door and walked back out of the house for the night. There was work to be done.
The note:
I'm going to be back in a day. Don't be scared. Don't be sad. I'll be right back home. Just make sure you keep all the doors and windows locked. There's a red button behind my bed. If anything happens, press it. Love you.

She moved away from him when he said he coudltn promise."I dont care ebcause oen I cant come I have to raise our children hun and I jsu tknow one day im going to get a phone call saying your gone"she whispered and got up and went to the babies room shuttign and lockign the door as etars were n her eyes as she sat into the rockign chair next to their cribs

Sharad sighed and set down the mugs of hot chocolate, sitting down beside Angel and putting his arm over her shoulder. "I... I can't promise that." He looked into her eyes sadly. "Everything I do for the JIA is to protect you, Angel. I went to rescue your mom... but if I hadn't taken them out, they would have gone for you." He smiled and put his free hand under her chin. "But I can promise you that whenever I get a mission, you're free to come along." He grinned and put both arms around her, resting her head on his own shoulder. "I promise."

She smield as she was picked up She held onto him as if he woudl disappear if she let go."Sharad I lvoe you please just promsie no amtter the mission you wotn ever leave again"she smiled and kisse him and then gently bit his neck

Feeling the warm tears course down his shoulders, Sharad stroked Angel's hair and closed his eyes in sadness. "I'm so sorry..." He embraced her tightly and ran his fingers down her shoulder then across her cheek, trying to cheer her up.
"I love you, Angel. More than you know. I want you to know that I'll always be there, no matter what... I'm your big man." He smiled and bent down a little to look into her eyes. "I'm your big man. I always will be. Now cheer up." He lifted her in his arms and brought her to the kitchen, setting her down on the table and making a couple of hot chocolates.

She looked at him with love in her eyes as she held him tightly lettign her arms wrap around his neck as tears came down her eyes.'I love you sharad and jsut I'm so affraid your gunna leave again and im gunna be alone again"she cried."this is what I did when you were gone to try and not think abotu what was realyl going on with the jia"she whispered in tears

Sharad smiled sadly and stood up, kissing Angel slightly and holding her head to his chest. "I'm sorry, Angel. For three years of loneliness and no support... I needed you that whole time, just as much as you needed me." he pulled back and kissed her again, then smiled and held her chin lightly. "Now come back. I need you so that I can sleep. You're warm and fuzzy." He grinned.

Sharad blinked and blearily woke up as Angel started humming. He lifted himself off the bed and sat on the side, watching her. "Angel..." he said softly. "Come back... we can work tomorrow. You need to sleep." He smiled and got up, putting his hand on her shoulder.

Once again she got up and began soem midnight cleanign as everyoen slept.She lightly hummed as she cleaned

Sharad smiled lightly and pulled his arms tightly around Angel, feeling his body warm to her touch. "Thanks, baby..." he said lightly, kissing her forehead and closing his eyes as he slowly fell asleep.

SHe turned to him"No hun Imjust lettign you rest tonight remember because you said you were hurt"she giggled and ksised his lips then his neck as she jsut cuddled into him happily
