He accepted the kiss, and wondered how fair it was that an innocent child be involved in a mess like this. He was decidedly against civilian involvement, but this was ridiculous.
"I... I knew your father. Quite well, in fact." He shifted Angel's head so that he looked her straight in the eyes. "I'll do everything I can to protect his daughter, even if it means my life."

She curled upyears in her eyes as she jsut stayed silent forabit."Everyday ot'smy fault hedied protectign me they were there to kill me to get to himand hemovedand then after that they jsut...i had to watch"she cried as she remembered watchign her father beign slottered/"My wutchy witchy girl i gives you bowls of porage and bowls of ice..cream.i give you lots of kisses and lots of hugs but no sandwitches.."she lightly sang trying not to cry

Sharad couldn't stop it. He started crying.
The two of them, crying together, must have made an awful amount of noise. They held each other very close. Sharad refused to let go no matter what. He would protect her.
He set her down on the bed, and laid down next to her. He kissed her again and again.

Sharad was a bit taken aback by the suggestion.
"Of... of course. Of course I will, if it's okay with you. Do you have another room here where I can sleep?" He took off his jacket and put it on the bed, and softly massaged Angel's shoulders. "I'm not sure if your mother would allow me to sleep in the same room..."

She looked at him and made him stop and just took his hands in hers."You will stay win this room with me and sleep next to me and my mother will not mind i explained some thing yesterday to her"she said kindly and got up and went and got changed into a logn nightshirt and a pair of short shorts then crawled unde3r the covers

Sharad felt a surge of grief for her. He had felt the same way once, when his adopted father was taken from him in the same way. The Yakuza... They will pay for this. He removed his belt, which had concealed in it a couple of small daggers and healing salve, and set it on the table. He sat on the bed and tried not to look at Angel changing into her night clothes... He picked up his own bag and changed into his pajamas. It was only 8:00 PM, but he felt tired after the day's events.
He sat down next to Angel and gently touched her face, whispering into her ear. "You're safe with me. Nothing's going to happen. You're safe." He felt blood rush to her face as he lay down, still holding her.

She curled into him as they rested underneath the covers and she smiled."Yes I know and it's the safest I have felt in a lng time sweet dreams my love and dream sweetly"she said and gently kissed his lips as she slowly rested her head onto his shoulder and the piloww both and then clsoed her eyes

"... My love, hm? I could get used to that." He curled up beside Angel and put his arms around her.
"I could get used to that." He could DEFINITELY get used to it. He pulled her closer to him and whispered into her ear. He didn't know that she wasn't asleep.

She smield happily as she opened her eyes and she kissed his lips gently'I love you"she said and rested her head onto his shoulder feelign happier then she ever had

"So you were awake, hm?" He smiled against her neck, taking in her every movement. She was wonderful.
"I can't sleep... Sorry." He sat up in bed and put his arms behind his back, taking in the situation. "I hope I'm not keeping you up or anything..."
He felt her head on his chest and smiled. This is how it should be. She deserves this, and so do I.

She smiled lightly"No your nto keeping me up one bit"she said with a smiel adn looked into his eyes as she then kissed him happily."Just as long as I have you I can never be amd or tired I guess"she grinned

He smiled the widest smile he could manage to without tearing his mouth apart. "Do you really feel that way? Do you think that... when we finish this... we could..." He leaned into her. He would do anything for some stability, and he had finally found some.
