Graduation in Charming wasn't like the movies, no one waited to have their first ******** after prom, no one spent thousands of dollars on custom fit gowns and there was no King or Queen. Of course the girls were planning out their hair and make-up weeks before, wanting to have the hottest and most popular date, even Sky thought about these things and now that she had a date, as long as he was serious, she would look better than all the girls there with Jax beside her, not the mention the dress she was planning on wearing. Sky's family had a lot of money but she didn't go and spend hundreds of dollars on a sparkly pink dress like half of the girls in her class, she had decided to make her own dress and put her talents to use. Anything creative seemed to come naturally to her, sewing, drawing and makeup, besides lipstick which Mads always ended up doing for her.

The grad dance didn't sound like something Jax would be attending or Ope, even if Donna begged him Sky couldn't see the two dancing to up beat music without a lot of school in their system, it just wasn't their style. Missing the dance wasn't a big deal, secretly she did want to see all the preppy girls get trashed out of their minds but she could hold of 10 or 15 years, she always wanted to go to her highschool reunion and laugh in girls faces that doubled in size after graduation. Sky didn't know her well but she figured Donna would try everything in the books to get Ope to join her at he dance, if he did, Sky would laugh about it with Jax over beers, she was confident about that. "I had a dress picked out for grad awhile ago, boobs got too big, Jason says it's all the milk I drink but I don't think that's possible." It was no surprise to anyone that she had grown a lot during her last year of school, catching up to her sister was how she saw it.

Watching him wipe the lipstick from his cheek was amusing, he had taken majority of it off right away, to bad her clothes weren't that easy to get the lipstick off of. Sky wanted to pull out her cellphone and text her sister, brag about how she had a date now, not like Mads would be jealous or anything, little did Sky know she was currently occupied with something else, where the ******** was she anyways? He referred to her as 'pretty' and that prevented the color on her cheeks from going away, sure, he had hit a couple sweet spots tonight, not like it was on purpose though right? It was true, if Jason didn't have club business on the day of her grad, he would be there and expecting her to attend as well, after all she had worked really hard to spilt her time between art and school and still accomplished a lot.

"Neither of us can back out, it's a date, a friendly date. I will be the only girl at the end of the night without a d**k in my mouth." It was a bad mental image but she knew the reality of a intoxicated night that involved preppy girls and horny guys, no one was leaving that school without making plans to get laid later, just Sky by the looks of it. Taking another swig of her beer she leaned back, admiring the reaper on his back, she couldn't help herself, after all she had drawn that. Fingers ran lightly over the outline, trying not to tickle him, if he was. "This would look so much better if it was shaded, ******** I look forward to the future. Donny has to let me do me first reaper once I graduate." Jax wasn't a member yet but she hoped to be around to do his reaper, considering how much they got along she wouldn't charge him for the time he spent on the chair and she would be more patient than with any other client, he was the blood line of the club, he would wear that reaper better than most who had one now.

One day soon, I'm gonna be a Son.

So, he’d just offered to take a girl to prom. A girl who wasn’t Tara. Somewhere, he was sure that his mother has a bigass smirk on her face. It was an innocent enough offer, part of him believed he’d be called in to rescue Ope at some point anyways. Opie might not have known it yet but Donna was going to try and haul his a** to that dance one way or another. If there were ever two people who weren’t cut out for the scene, even grad Charming style, it was Jax himself and his best friend Opie.

Hey at least Skyla seemed happy about it. Didn’t every girl dream about going to this thing anyway? No matter where, or how you were raised. Unless you were in a part of the world this crap didn’t matter. Jax himself hadn’t exactly been toying with the idea. Hell, it was ******** prom. What was he gonna do? The fact that he had even stuck in school was an act of god. Or as the men around TM called it “an act of Gemma” If it hadn’t have been for his mom he would have been out and working full time at the garage by now.

Gemma had decided that come hell or high water, he was graduating. If he didn’t she would make his life miserable and she would make sure that he couldn’t prospect. The club had always been his endgame. How he’d always seen himself ending up. Working at Teller-Morrow by day, in Church with the guys by night. Doing runs, shooting whiskey, chasing tail. The good life. The club was in his blood. What the hell was he supposed to do if that was no longer an option? Jax stayed in school, he wasn’t a top rate student and unless it was a shop or auto class, he didn’t exactly put all his effort into it. Still, it somehow worked out. Just a couple months until he was done with this s**t for good.

A smirk graced his features when he talked about her dress, and the cleavage issue. Though that smirk had been pretty noticeable since they’d gotten together at the clubhouse earlier in the evening. So there was no backing out now, she was hooked on the idea. A friendly date, what was the word for that? Platonic or some s**t. Like hanging out with Opie. Expect, Opie wasn’t a girl. A pretty damn cute girl at that. He didn’t spend a whole lot of time around the opposite sex, not since Tara. Sure they flocked to him, but he ignored them for the most part. They didn’t interest him.

Jax’s muscles flexed together when he felt Skyla’s cool fingers ghost over the outline on his back. From dicks-in-mouths to tattoos, this kid wasn’t exactly what you’d call dull. “Looks pretty good right now though.” Jax grunted. True, with all those painful extras it would look particularly badass, but for something she’d just printed out of the machine, wasn’t like it was bad. He cocked an eyebrow at her exclamation of excitement.

“You going to decorate the club or go off to the big city and become all famous and s**t?”
There was a teasing tone in his voice, but the question was actually meant to be serious. He was genuinely curious. She had the skills, she could make it in one of those stuck up shops that overcharged. Unlike most girls in Charming, she didn’t seem to eager to get the hell out. Her family was here after all, and her ties to the club were almost as deep as his. Minus a member or two of course. He knew she wanted to stay in the business. She’d been working as Donny’s apprentice for awhile now, and the man nothing short of proud. He’d overheard him one or twice talk to guys at the clubhouse, whether it was at one of their parties or during a session. Boasting about how he had a diamond in the rough in his hands, and that one day they’d have a chick inking them.

At least if she stuck around, he wouldn’t be lonely. And he wouldn’t have to track her down when it came time to get that beautiful piece done up on his back.
