Avery grit her teeth, suddenly feeling a wave of anger rush over her for the vampiress that was trying to ruin her plans. "He. Doesn't. Want. YOU!" She released Klaus, throwing him down and rushing towards Orchid, her hidden dagger revealed. Orchid gasped, suddenly knocked to the floor by the siren. Avery hissed at her, attempting to bring the sharp point down on the other's heart as Orchid desperately tried to push her away.

Kette scrambled to try and get to her only to be held back by Evan, who slammed him into the wall by his throat.
Lance slowly fell to his knees winded but other wise ok.
A dark shadow cast over Avery as large scarlett wings arched behind Klaus. "Get off of her.." His eyes were glimmering gold as he grabbed Avery's arm that held the knife and twisted it around to causing the room to ring with a sickening snap.

Avery cried out in pain, feeling the bones snap under the vampires immense strength. She hissed as the dagger was wrenched from her fingers, dropping to the floor with a metallic ring. Orchid only looked up at Klaus in disbelief, her silvery eyes full of fear and relief. Avery attempted to squirm away, tossing and writhing in vain. She screamed in frustration, the sound echoing off of the walls of the silent ballroom.

The vampire's eyes glimmered with anger and saddness. Softly he spoke to her, "Get out of my castle...." He glared evily at Evan tossing her easily to the side picking up the dagger and walking towards Evan.
Kette was pinned to the wall terrified beyond reason. The inccubus had his mind on other things pressing his body closer to Kette's and he bit Kette's shoulder drawing blood from his tanned skin. Kette bit his lip trying harder to get away before glancing to Klaus whispering. "Klaus...." Evan froze slowly removing his fangs from Kette's skin and looking up at Klaus at if he was suddenly sobered. The vampire flung him from the demon and sunk the blade into his chest inches away from his heart.
He leaned closer to the inccubus whispering. "Didnt I tell you never to touch him again?" Evan was whimpering, completely scared. "Get out..."

Orchid only sat on the floor, still trembling from the shock of the attack. Avery whimpered, attempting to push herself off of the floor.
Myfi quickly ran to Kette, kneeling beside him fearfully. "Are you alright?" she asked, examining him. "Are you hurt?" Her brown eyes darted from his face to his neck, full of worry.

Evan slunk to the floor then scrambled up an began to push through the crowd to get out.
Kette gripped his fists laying his head on Myfi's shoulder. "I.... I'm ok.."
Klaus looked down at him smiling softly an returning to Orchid's side. He knelt down lifting her into his arms. "Are you alright?"
The elf laid her head back against Casticus's chest as the band started back up. Murmurs passed over the crowd complimenting the show.
"Thats Klaus for ya. His parties are always unpredictable." Every one complimented his performance.
Lance lifted them from the rubble of the broken wall. "You ok Ms. Olivia?" She rubbed her head and glanced up at him smiling a little and turning a soft pink.
"Y-... Yeah.."

Avery scrambled up and out of the ballroom, disappearing into the night.
Myfi gently petted the back of his head, dabbing at his neck with her gloves. She softly whispered in comforting gaelic.
Orchid curled up tightly against him, whispering, "I-I'm a-a-alright..." The vampiress was shaking and was still having difficulty speaking. She was breathing hard and was obviously still panicking. She whimpering, closing her eyes and hiding in Klaus's chest.
"What...what jsut happened...?" asked Casticus, confused.

Sylryl shrugged, "I'm sure its nothing."
Klaus scooped the vampire up and carried her away to her room.
Kette hid his face in his hands completely embarrased. "Go... help Orchid."

Casticus eyed the scene before slowly hiding his face in her neck and hair, groaning. A sudden pang of sharp pain hit him like a wave. Nausea bit at his stomach and he gripped the back of her dress as his landsickness set in. Her numbing magic was just beginning to wear off from when he was shot.
Orchid closed her eyes, allowing Klaus to take her away.
Myfi looked at Kette, surprised. "A-...alright..." she said softly, standing up ato follow the vampires.

Kette managed to sneak away from the watchful eyes of the guests to the bar. Klaus always had nothing less than the finest drinks at his parties but he had specially delivered for this party, Absinthe. Kette ordered several and began to down them. Only several minutes passed before a masked woman slid into stool next to him. He eyed her for a moment but continued to drink. She laughed with a sensual voice and spoke to the bartender, "I'll pay for his drinks." He glanced at her again muttering an almost in audible thank you. She grinned, "No problem." A moment passed, "So you're a fire demon?" She leaned cover to him her long glorious black hair falling over her bare shoulders.
The corner of her lips curved softly upwards as the elf spoke, "Land sickness?"
Klaus stopped to wait for the selkie holding the vampiress in his arms as he climbed the staircase to her room.

Casticus nodded into her shoulder, shutting his eyes tightly in an attempt to hide from the music and lights. He pulled the top hat from his head, placing it on hers to keep it from falling to the floor.
The selkie followed Klaus up the stairs, worrying about the fire demon the entire time.

The woman's lips, glistening with a shimmery gloss, curved into a smile, "You dont talk much do you?" The demon only drank deeper of the bottle allowing the acid green liquid to slide down his throat. She smirked and allowed her chin to rest on her delicate hands. Kette was slowly becoming more and more incapasitated, slowly he began to acknowledge her. An hour went by and she had convinced him to take her some where quiet. He left with her to his room and turned to look questioningly at her as she closed the door behind them. Standing in the middle of the room looking like a retard he tilted his head in wonder at her. The woman lifted her mask to reveal her elegant features. Kette was suddenly infatuated with her eyes, some how he felt at home in them. The shimmered with the same icy luster as some one he still felt strongly for. The woman pressed herself into his arms and began kissing across his neck, pulling down his collar to reach his chest with her lips.
The elf gently reached up to touch her lips to his allowing her magic to seep through the sensative skin.
Klaus nestled the vampiress in the sheets of her bed, "Myfi, would you be so kind as to fetch me a damp wash cloth?"

Myfi nodded softly, walking into the connected bathroom. After searching for a moment through the cabinets of the room, she pulled out a deep violet washcloth. The selkie retuned to Klaus after running ot under cool water for a moment and ringiing it out with her thin hands.
Casticus relaxed against her, feeling a rush of warmth shoot through him, the warmth easing the pain. His lips and mouth felt numb against hers.
