Welcome to Gaia! ::

Sylryl shook her head gently watching him still. And you're acting like a child.

The demon slid his hands around her waist closing his eyes and taking up her scent hoping that the ride would go by faster.
Casticus didn't realize it was possible to studder in thoughts until he did. I-...you-...it-...meh! He looked over at her desperate for an answer, his expression one between confusion and desperation. He ended up just looking a little insane.

Myfi guided the horse along, every once in a while looking over her shoulder at the sleep ing fire demon.
Sylryl almost replied but was interrupted. She held out her hand and silenced them with her hand, her horse suddenly became fidgety wanting to run away from the area that they crossed. Suddenly the ground below Kette and Myfi's horse split open as a the red man eating horse, Podagros burst from the ground and sank his razor sharp teeth into the horses side ripping it open. Kette awoke rather rapidly, grabbed Myfi and leaped from the doomed horse. The two other horses, one blonde and one white grabbed the horse by the legs and pulled it down under the ground devouring it. Terrified the demon would NOT put her down standing away from the giant sink hole.

Sylryl's horse panicked and tried to run but she held it still. "Run! They're below you!!"

Kette jumped into the air just as Podagros burst from the earth snapping his jaws at him. "s**t!!" He grabbed his pistol and shot the horse several times in the neck and chest. It fell back nickering annoyingly but other wise unharmed. The other two joined in behind the first standing behind him as storm clouds moved in over head.

So you've returned? Blood dripped heavily from his hungry teeth.
Myfi clung to Kette desperately, looking at the carcass of the horse being ripped into bits, muscles still twitching. Her eyes were wide with feer as she felt Kette's arms tighten almost crushingly around her.

Casticus wheeled towards the horse coming out of the ground, leaping off of his horse and shapeshifting into his true kelpie form, skin peeling back from parts of his skull and his glowing eyes sinking into his face. He stomped wildly at the ground where the white-grey horse and blonde horse were rising. He whinnied wildly, avoiding the snapping jaws of the horses.
Kette lifted Myfi onto Casticus's horse, "Stay on the horse." He stood in front of the horse his gun aimed at the red horse.

Sylryl remained on her horse in case speed became an asset. "Podagros, let us pass."

The red horse flicked his tail in annoyance. Letting you go would mean that we would go hungry.
Casticus stepped up Sylryl, sharp teeth bared in a protective manner. He snapped his teeth and stomped his hooves in warning, his eyes furiously glowing.

You frighten us not, said Xanthos eying the kelpie as if he was simply an insect, not to be worried with. Lampon edging slowly towards the selkie, her terrified eyes egging him on further. Myfi could only grip the reigns tightly, backing the horse up slightly and praying for their safety.
Kette's sights found the white horse approaching Myfi. Growling and bearing his fangs in warning, the demon fought hard to hide his fear to remain in control.

Sylryl removed the large axe from her saddle's sheath. "We are not defenseless, we just want to pass through in peace."

Podagros tossed his head allowing his fiery mane to drape over his face. Foolish elf, we do not negotiate with our food!! The horse snapped his teeth stomping at the ground.
Lampon could stand it no more and rushed towards the selkie and steed. The horse lifted its front legs from the ground, kicking with them wildly in fear as the selkie hung on. The white horse whinnied, struck in the shoulder, but didn't seem to be hindered much in its hunt.

Casticus let out an inhuman, yet utterly terrifying cry, tearing off towards Xanthos. His teether were aimed for one of his legs, hoping to shred one of the muscles and prevent the horse from its quick, fluid motion. The golden horse bucked and kicked, dodging the attack.
Kette fired an acid colored bullet deep into the chest of the white horse, thousands of tiny green threads ripped through the flesh of the animal stitching the limbs to each other.

Podagros charged the elf only to be met with an axe to the side. Chuckling the horse snapped the axe from the elf and drug her off her horse with it. She struggled to keep hold of her weapon. The horse tossed and flung her, snapping at her sides and legs.
The white horse fell to the ground, neighing in anger and thrashing about wildly like a fish out of water. The bindings held strong, preventing him from getting back up and attacking again. Myfi watched the horse before turning to Kette, managing to say, "Th-thank you..."

Casticus whirled about, seeing the elf in danger and sprinted away from his previous target. The kelpie opened his jaws widely, carniverous teeth exposed, and ran head on into the red horse, teeth sinking into its side. He hoped that he had knocked the horse off balance and destracted him enough for the woman to at least get to relative safety.
The red horse whinnied painfully but struck the kelpie swiftly in the jaw. Sylryl managed to rip the axe from the horse and slash it again. It screeched but kicked her off as well and pinned her to the ground about to tear into her.

Suddenly another horse rammed into the red horse. The same black horse from several nights before stood over the elf almost roaring at the others, standing above the elf, although the horse was sporting tattered scaly wings. Podagros snorted in objection but hobbled to the white horse snapping the treads with its teeth and limping away.

Kette watched the black horse with it's neck arched proudly and long wavy mane draping over his huge head. Slowly the demon approached the horse not getting terribly close to it. ".....Apollo....?" The elf glazed at the man wondering what the hell he was talking about. The great black horse slowly turned his head to look at Kette lowering his head then raising it again.
Casticus shape shifted back to his original form as the horse backed off, obviously wary of the blaxk horse. A hand flew to his jaw, pain shooting through his face, but he dropped down to his knees beside Sylryl, asking, "Are you alright?"

Myfi could only look from the black demonic looking horse in front of them to the fire demon near them, attempting to read the look of confused surprise on his face. "What do you mean?" she asked.
Kette was almost horrified by the horses acknowledging his name. "This horse belongs to Ryomi..."

Syryl sat up quickly after the horse walked towards Kette a little, "Seriously?" She was bruised but other wise ok.
Casticus sighed at being ignored, sitting on the ground in defeat. He rubbed his jaw, watching the scene unfold tiredly.

Myfi slowly slipped off of her horse, walking over to where Kette stood. "Can...can you take us to her...?" she asked, placing a hand on Kette's arm, but watching the dark horse that had saved them early, hoping for a positive reply.
The huge black horse nickered softly approaching the demon and the selkie. Kette felt his whole body tense and he fought every thought of running away screaming. The horse sniffed Myfi, before pressing his velvet nose to her cheek and breathing warmly against her skin.

The elf leaned back against the kelpie clutching her sore shoulder, "I'm fine."
