Welcome to Gaia! ::

"Klaus..." she whispered, pressing a hand to his face. She looked sadly at him, eyes full of pain. "I miss you..." She slowly leaned towards him, allowing her lips to softly brush against his.

Myfi was pulled from her daze by Kette's sudden statement. "What?" she asked, mind still wandering. She looked over to Klaus, tilting her head at the newcomer. "Who is that?"

Casticus layed his chin on her shoulder, allowing their cheeks to brush. "Thank you..." he whispered softly.
Klaus felt his eyes sting with tears but he forced them back. He couldnt find any words to say only focusing on keeping his tears at bay.

Kette suddenly gripped into the back of Myfi's dress growling as a familiar sound floated to his ears. "Its Avery." He glared darkly holding Myfi tightly to his chest.

Sylryl answered with a sleepy voice, "For what?"
Avery slipped a hand behind his head, pulling him closer and deepening the kiss.

Orchid suddenly stopped, catching sight of Klaus with another woman. Her jaw dropped, a sqeaking noise exitting her throat as Klaus and the woman she couldn't see very well kissed. She could feel tears welling up in her eyes so she quickly picked up her skirts, bustling to the other side of the room and away from her vampire partner.

Myfi looked up at him curiously. "Who is that?" she asked, feeling his muscles tense in anger.

"For giving me someone else to fill my thoughts..." he replied softly.
Klaus didnt resist feeling a tear slip past his defenses as she pushed closer to him. His body didnt respond to him failing to push her away.

Kette noticed Orchid racing up the stairs. "Myfi, go with Orchid." He pointed to the vampiress then spoke darkly. "Keiner bumst mit Klaus.." He gently let go of her and began to make his way to his friend. Harshly he slammed his hand down on the woman's shoulder jerking her away from the stunnded vampire. "Back off Avery!" His fangs were exposed as he stepped between her and Klaus.

Sylryl gazed up at him with her hypnotic eyes blinking at him with a knowing. A smile broke across her face as she whispered, "You're welcome."
Avery growled at the Kette, gripping her hands into fists. "This is no business of yours, demon," she spat at him coldly. She looked sadly over at Klaus, a stricken look crossing her face. "Klaus...please..."

Myfi nodded softly, looking down and heading up the stairs after Orchid. She heard the soft sound of muffled crying coming from behind a door and slowly entered. A large green house was revealed, plants and colorful flowers towering over her in some areas. Slowly she made her way over to the huddled mass of black fabrics kneeling in the dirt.

Casticus simply allowed his forehead to rest against hers, closing his eyes as they spun slowly. He pulled her closer, wrapping his arms around her protectively.
Kette glanced back at Klaus, "Dont listen to her. You know what she's trying to do." He made sure to keep an eye on Avery at all times. Protectively he stood between the two, "He doesnt need you any more! He's got Orchid now!"

The weakened vampire only gripped the fabric over his dead heart whispering Kette's name.

Sylryl smiled pressing closer to the kelpie.
Avery looked down at the floor, her breath shuddering. "Klaus...please...don't forget me..."

Myfi slowly lowered herself beside the vampiress, pressing a hand to her shoulder. Orchid jumped in surprise, looking at her, tears slipped down from beneath her mask. "Myfi..." she said, sniffling and trying to cover up her tears. "Why aren't you at the ball...?"

The kelpie softly brushed his fingers across her cheek, trailing them to the tips of her ears and back, eyes still closed.
Flecks of light danced around Klaus's face revealing to Kette his painful tears. The demon cursed at Avery and hurried to stand before Klaus. "Klaus listen to me! She's trying to trick you."

"I know... " He held himself trying to keep from bursting into tears. Slowly his body failed to keep him standing leaving Kette to catch him as he fell. Kette trembled with anger.

"Damn woman.."

Sylryl slowly stretched her chin out to meet his finger tips allowing her lips to brush his.
Avery watched unemotionlessly as Klaus fell.

"I came to check on you..." said Myfi.

"What about Kette...?" she asked, wiping away tears.

"He went to check on Klaus and Avery."

"Avery...?" she said in surprise, eyes widening. "That's who it is...?" It felt as if a weight had been dropped on her chest. Klaus had gone back to Avery? After all she'd done to him?

Casticus looked surprised at first before closing his eyes and responding to the kiss. One of his hands stayed to cup her face while the other slipped down to her hip.
Kette growled back at the siren tearing the mask from his face, "Get out before I make you."

Klaus clung weakly to the demon thankful to feel safe in his arms. His head laid against the demon's chest hearing his comforting heartbeat.

The elf slowly reached up to run her fingers along the back of his neck twining her fingers in his hair.
Avery frowned at the demon. "Why do you always have to ruin my fun?" she said, crossing her arms. "Well at least I'm getting paid for this." She rolled her eyes at the vampire.

Myfi slowly wrapped her arms around Orchid in a hug, allowing her to cry into her shoulder as the night sky shone overhead.

Casticus shivered at her touch, gripping at the fabric of her dress tighter.
Slowly from behind the woman approached the white wolf who whispered low to the siren. "You promised me the half breed in exchange for my half of the payment. Now pay up." Kette immeadiately froze all his fight gone instantly. The man seemed to notice Kette's reaction to his presence. "You've been avoiding me all night, demon. Is something wrong?" His voice dripped like liquid silver as he spoke to the terrified demon. Smiling he pulled down his mask to reveal his raven eyes and a tribal tattoo that stuck down over his left eye like a bolt of black lightning. His silvery white bangs trailed down over his eyes and around his ears to snake down his neck.

The flecks of light seemed to want to swirl around the pair as they mindlessly danced in circles to the music as yet another song struck up.
"Take him," she answered simply. "He is of no use to me."

Casticus pulled away, looking down at her softly. "You're so...beautiful..." he whispered, enraptured by the elf's strange spell. He ran his fingertips from her cheek down to her shoulders, brushing her skin lightly.
Klaus felt Kette tense up and slowly opened his cloudy grey eyes to stare up at the incubus. The vampire suddenly felt a rush of protectiveness over take him as he straightened his back to cling to Kette's terrified form. The demon's mouth hung open and his pupils shrunk to horrified pin-pricks.

The incubus only sighed, "But I cannot get to him unless you seperate Klaus from him." He muttered under his breath so that the pair could not hear him.

The elf rested her cheek against his chest loving the feel of his fingertips against her skin. She blushed only slightly at his compliments.
Avery sighed. "Can't you do anything for yourself?" She turned to the vampire, smiling softly. "Klaus? Do you remember what I used to sing to you just before you fell asleep?" She began to softly sing in another language to him, swaying the tune and staring deeply into his eyes.

"I just wish I knew more about you..." he whispered softly.
