Casticus entered his room to find a set of beautiful beds, both with ornate headboards carved from dark, rich wood. The walls were a a creamy color with barely visible, delicate patterns. The chairs and bedding were both of a black velevty material, soft to the touch. The windows were large and draped with excess black fabric, pooling on the hardwood floor. Casticus sighed tiredly and flopped into one of the chairs.

Myfi soon entered the room behind Sylryl, looking around in wonder. "It's beautiful," she muttered to herself, looking at the pretty light fixture hanging from the ceiling.

Orchid was startled from her thoughts by Klaus suddenly twirling her around in his arms. She bore a surprised look for a moment or so as Klaus excitedly blurted his plans, but a smile soon formed on the petite vampiress's face. She giggled at his silly fancies and danced with him.
The young vampiress watching him as he wandered around the room, gently touching the dresser's surface. Kette finally noticed she wasnt leaving, "Is something wrong Olivia?" She was pouting but perked up and smiled cutely to him when he asked.

"No sir!" She skipped out of his room leaving him slightly confused. He shrugged and dug through his closet finding that Klaus had already prepared a suit for him. Figures....

Lance gasped sharply smiling. "Wow! Its huge!" He rushed around the room making sure to touch everything he could.
The following day was filled with the busy bustling of servants with beautful decorations and other things with which to festoon the ballroom. The busyday sooned turned to night as the ballroom was finished in all of its glory. Myfi was excitedly twirling about the her room holding her mask clutched against her chest. She giggled. "I wonder what my dress will look like," she sighed happily just as Orchid came in the room holding a package of watery looking cloth.

Casticus carefully adjusted his long coat in the mirror, looking at the long black fabric that made up his outfit. As much as he hated getting dress up, he had to admit he did like this costume. The long coat was stiched with white, creating elegant outlines of bones. His mask was a grey white color and only covered the top half of his face. It was shaped like the top of a skull, the teeth of the thing stopping just where his lips began. A black top hat sat atop his dark mossy colored hair, the shells still entwined in his locks.
Sylryl took her own package from Orchid and lifted the beautiful lavander dress from it's box. Fine lace wrapped around the gown and strings of pearls dripped down the shoulders of the dress. After putting the dress on she twirled slow and gracefully in the mirror to see how it looked, sliding her long pearly white gloves up the length of her arms. She fixed a soft off white mask to her face, adorned with a small feather burst on one side and small glittering jewels around the eyes.

Lance was twisting his torso back and forth to check his costume over and over. The white cold coat hugged his ribs and fell just below his waist. He flicked his cape back and forth flashing the white gold color on the outside and a deep red on the inside. A gleaming gold shoulder plate sat perched on his left shoulder with two small spikes protruding from it. In his gloved hands he clasped his gold mask in his fingers before gingerly fitting it onto his face. It curved over his cheek bones and nestled comfortably against his forehead underneath his gold bangs, sporting two minature pegasi surrounded a small gold harp. He young knight then practiced his bowing.

Kette hated getting dressed up and struggled to remember what Sabre had taught him about what went on where. Finally he figured it out and stood in front of the mirror straightening his long coat that fell just below his knees and faded from black to a deep dark red and was decorated with dark crimson wings down the back of it. His shirt reflected a soft metalic grey with dark velvet patterns across the chest. He got an idea and warmed his hand drastically pulling his hair back into a small pony-tail and sweeping his bangs back on his head, fixing them there with heat. "Better..." He muttered putting on his own mask, leather and in the shape of a slender dragon. It's wings wrapping around his crimson eyes and its spiked tail trailing down his cheek and along his jaw.
Orchid slipped on her own gown, the small sleaves of it slipping off her pale shoulders. It was a blackgown, the leather corset unsymetrical with the laces going diagonally around her torso. The skirt was layered with different patterns of black lace, each one blending together to create an even more intricate design. Her mask was of black lace with no eye holes, the fabric was easy enough to see through, and large black ribbons that held it behind her head. Her blonde hair had been pulled away from her face, woven elegantly together to create a bun-like design that fell down the back of her neck. Black flowery lace covered her entire neck and just a hint of her shoulders, creating a beautiful collar. She smiled her dark painted lips.

Myfi's dress was made of different colors of the sea. The dress hung off her shoulders, the top of it coming up to her chest and creating the illusion of waves crashing against a beach. White pearls dotted the edges like seafoam. The dress was tight fitting until just below her hips, belling out to create swirls of cool shades of sheer fabric. The bottom of the dress twirled around the floor like fins throughthe ocean. The back of the skirt was split revealing fabric the color of old parchment and stitched like a map of a ship's course. Sea serpents and krakens were carefully sewn into the fabric, the red dotted line of the ships course weaving just in and out of danger. Her arms were wrapped in pearls and what looked to be iradescent scales and her mask fit carefully onto her face. It was a soft blue color, made of the same scales her arm pieces were and decorated with strings of pearls that fell over her cheeks and around her eyes and shells that lined her brow. Hersilvery hair had been partially pulled back, strings of pearls woven into her curling wavy locks. She nervously looked in the mirror, examining herself.
Kette lept back startled as Klaus burst through his door smiling. He was dressed up as well, wearing a white suit decorated with a sets of black stripes appearing in two's down the length of his shirt and pants. A high collared cape rested on his shoulders lined with soft white fur and splayed with an occasional thin black stripe. His mask fit comfortably to his face with soft fur carressing his cheek bones and contrasting sharply with his whine colored hair. Thin black stripes curved around and underneath his eyes. After taking a good look at Kette having to walk around him in circles a few times he smiled sexily, "You look amazing Kette." His voice deeper now.

Kette became nervous instantly, "Uh.. thanks..." A soft pink glow passed over his nose underneath his mask.

Sylryl smiled running a brush through Myfi's silvery hair. "Relax, you're too tense."
Myfi fiddled with a piece of her dress nervously. "I'm just...nervous..." she muttered. She couldn't help but wonder what Kette would think. She felt her face turn slightly red as she thought about it.

"You two can go downstairs. I still have something to get," said Orchid with a smile and a small bow before exiting the room.

Casticus sighed, adjusting his mask slightly in the mirror. He was still tryingto get used to the black leather gloves capturing his fingers. Finall he decided he looked fine and exitted the room.
Klaus snuck around behind him turning him towards the mirror and fixing his jacket. Kette stood straight as a board, completely petrified. Klaus smiled seeing how tense he was. "Relax." He grabbed his arm. "Come on... lets go." He led him to the balcony over looking the ball room which was completely filled with all of Klaus' guests.

Sylryl adjusted her mask and led Myfi out of the room to the ball room.
Myfi entered the ballroom nervously, face downturned from the stares of the many strangers. She clasped her hands together, scared of the others.

Casticus looked around the ballroon blankly, searching for someone he might know. He craned his neck to the side seeing a flash of lavender.

Orchid soon entered the ballroom. From her back portruded two black ravnen's wings, tied to her dress. She carefully wove in and out of the crowd, looking for Klaus before finally seeing him on the balcony and smiling softly at him.
Sylryl stayed close to Myfi like an older sister. Her lavander gown wisped around her slender form as she gracefully stepped across the marble floor.

Kette nervously stepped behind Klaus but was drug down the stairs behind the vampire. "Uh.. Klaus... " His blush was growing but he almost didnt want to seperate from Klaus afraid of the massive crowd. He tried to hold onto the vampire but the crowd seperated the two quickly. "s**t..." He scanned the masked faces timidly making his way through the crowd.

Klaus thought that Kette had seperated from him to find Myfi so he squeezed through greeting his guests left and right as they soon surrounded their genergous host.
Casticus quickly lost sight of the purple fabric, cursing under his breath. He frowned eyeing the other people with death glares.

Orchid smiled, approaching Klaus. "You look amazing, Klaus!" she said happily. She blushed slightly, realizing that she was staring at him and quickly looked away.

Myfi stayed close to Sylryl, scanning the crowd for Kette. She suddenly stopped, seeing him from across the way. She blushed brightly, quickly tying to cover it with her small hands.
Kette continued to wander around lost until he caught sight of Casticus and made his way towards the only familiar face he could see. "Casticus?" He spoke timidly hoping it really was Casticus.

Klaus smiled sexily to Orchid, "You're the one that looks amazing, Orchid." He smiled taking her hand as the lights began to dim.

A man dressed in a glorious blue grey suit glittering with silver flecks to resemble snow and mask that covered his eyes nose and part of his cheeks, with wolf ears atop his head, approached, Myfi bowing low. "Care to dance?"

The people strewen across the ballroom floor began to space out at Klaus led Orchid out onto the floor.
Myfi nervously looked up at the man. "I-..." her eyes darted to the side, finding that Kette was no longer there. "I suppose..." she said timidly, placing her hand in his.

Orchid blushed brightly whispering, "Thank you..." She looked up at him, suddenly fascinated with his cloudy grey eyes. She stepped closer to him, tightening her grip on his hand.

Casticus looked up surprisedly. "Kette?" he said, cocking an eyebrow under his mask. ""Have you found the others?"
The mysterious man took her by the hand and led her onto the dance floor just as the band began to play. He spun her around gracefully to the beat of the music.

Klaus did so as well outdoing every other couple that stepped in with his grace and poise. His eyes softening to gaze into her silvery eyes.

Kette shook his head, "I lost track of Klaus and..." His attention was redirected to the ballroom floor, "Well... there he is..." He ducked his head to try and see through the crowd.
Myfi was surprised by the man's grace, spinning her around easily. "You are a talented dancer, kind sir...," she said softly, attempting to keep up.

Orchid smiled, feeling heat move to her face. She moved closer to him matching his steps with practice. Her steps were light, almost pixie like. The petite vampiress was lithe and quick on the dancefloor.

Casticus looked over at Klaus who seemed to be having a good time. "Lovely," he said sarcastically, face blank. "Have you seen the girls?"
