Welcome to Gaia! ::

She whimpered, choking on her sobs as he forced himself into her mouth. Myfi's voice cracked as she let out a muffled scream, body shuddering under his rough touches. The selkie desperatly grabbed his wrists in a weak attempt to pull him off as he groped her. His skin felt revolting against hers, making her shiver. She tried to struggle, but simply fell back against the tree, feeling the rough bark tear into her back.
Kette heard her screams and instantly paniced, shoving past Keifer he raced towards the sound of her scream. "Myfi!!" Leaping swiftly over branches and dead trees, he left Keifer behind. Finally he saw the demon ontop of the terrified selkie.

"Get the ******** off of her!!" His fist burned with white hot flames as it slammed into the demon's jaw. Relentlessly he began beating the demon fire stretching up his arms to his shoulders. "b*****d!!!"

"Enough!!" Keifer grabbed his wrist instantly extinguishing the flames. "I'll deal with him..." He motioned back to the girl whimpering against the tree. He didnt even attempt to argue and raced towards her skidding to the ground and lifting her in his arms, thankful she was safe.

"Are you ok? Are you hurt?" He held her as tight as he dared. "I'm so sorry...."
Myfi held onto him tightly, burrying her face in his neck and sobbing uncontrollably. Bloody handprints covered her body as well as the bite mark on her shoulder with droplets of blood dripping from it. The flesh on her back was torn and bleeding from the scrapes from the tree. She was shaking uncontrollably, clutchin at him. She couldn't think straight, couldn't speak, couldn't express how thankful she was that Kette had saved her. Her heart was pounding wildly in her chest and all she could she was red, blood, skin ripping, organs. All she could hear was screams, excited cackles, and dying breathes.
Kette glanced over her body seeing the hand prints across her body. Furious, he clung to her gently gliding his hand along her side trying to comfort her. "Shhh..." He cooed to her rocking her back and forth softly singing to her.

Schneeflöckchen, Weiβröckchen,
Wann kommst du geschneit?
Du wohnst in den Wolken,
Dein Weg ist so weit.

Komm, setz dich ans Fenster,
Du lieglicher Stern,
Malst Blumen und Blätter,
Wir haben dich gern.

His angelic voice seemed to wrap around her like protective wings. Keifer was leaned against a tree with Artran's limp body laying at his feet. He muttered to himself, "Makara.... he has your song..."
Myfi held him, her sobs dying down, though her tears still slipping down her face. She suddenly felt warm at Kette's song, making her suddenly calmer. She opened her eyes slightly, looking up at Kette before looking over at the pelt lying in the branches. She wanted the draw to go away. She wanted the feeling of being tied to the bloodied demon on the ground to go away. She shivered slightly, catching sight of the mangled corpse on the ground and gripped Kette's soft hair in her hands.
Keifer slowly walked to the pair carrying Artran on his back and her pelt his his fist. "Take her back... its not safe out here." Kette took the pelt and wrapped her inside its depths. Keifer walked ahead back to the camp as Kette painfully lifted her and slowly made his way through the forest continuing to hum his song. "I'll never leave your side again."
Myfi leaned her head tiredly against his chest, closing her eyes and allowing herself to rest. She was tired, but she wanted more than anything to remove the sticky blood from her body. She wanted no mark from that man left on her. She wanted to forget. Kette's warm scent was intoxicating at this point, making her dizzy and her head fuzzy. The selkie made a small squeaking noise, shifting in his arms.

Casticus twitched slightly, squeezing his eyes tightly and gripping at the ground. Something didn't seem right.
Kette carried her straight to the medical tent he had presviously been escourted to. He wanted to melt at her terrified sound. He carried her inside setting her down on the table barking an order to a passing member. "Get me water and bandages, now!!"

"Yes! Lord Keifer!" Kette hesitated but brushed it off at being called by his father's name. Not wanting to let go of her he sat with her in his lap until the man came back with water and bandages. He slid out from under her and slowly removed her pelt to let it rest beside her. Gently he washed the blood from her body feeling his hands tremble in anger seeing the cuts on her back and her shoulder. Being as careful as he could, ignoring his throbbing ribs, he wrapped her wounds.

"Talk to me Myfi..." Kette was secretly just as scared as she was.
She whimpered slightly, her old bandages from the cu-sith were now bright red with blood. She opened her eyes slightly, looking at him painfully. She reached out to touch his hand, whispering softly, "I am sorry..." She slowly pointed to his own bandaged ribs, looking at them sadly with chocolate eyes.
"No Myfi... dont be sorry... none of this is your fault." He stroked her arm gently. "Everything is ok i promise." He pulled her tightly to him laying his head in her lap.
She laid her head down, stroking his hair beneath her fingers. "Thank you..." she whispered, voice barely above audible. Myfi closed her eyes, the cool air brushing over her skin and making the freshly bathed spots chill. She was beginning to drift off to sleep, but was fighting it, trying to stay awake with Kette.
The fire demon lifted himself up slowly and picked his jacket up off the ground. "Here..." He sat next to her and wrapped the trembling selkie in the coat, laying her pelt across her legs, and allowing her head to rest on his shoulder. "Get some sleep Myfi. I'll protect you..." He gently ran his fingers through her hair and began whispering his song to her.
Myfi sniffled, snuggling up to the demon and hugging him tightly. She closed her eyes, laying her hands against his chest and nuzzling up beneath his chin. She let her tiredness overtake her, dreams of warmth, comfort, and the fire demon filling her mind. Her breathing evened out and she relaxed.
After only a few moments of silence, the flap of the tent slid back allowing Keifer to enter. "How is she?" Kette muttered softly trying to stay quiet.

"She's calmed down alot.... " He gently drung his finger tips across her shoulder where her fresh wounds were seeping blood into the clean bandages. He wouldnt look at his father.

"Not every one here is as bad as Artran... and he's not all bad either..." He was gingerly trying to keep Kette from turning against his clan. "Most of them really like you...." Kette only sighed at his father's attempts at taking up for his clan. "They're a little rough around the edges but they're a good bunch..." Keifer finally let his gaze fall to the floor.

"And.... after talking to the men.... we'd all feel honored to have to stay with us... Especially me..." His voice trailed off. Kette only looked up at him and tapped the dragon tattoo on his chest.

"I cant... by law you are bound to only one clan for the rest of your life. Those guys are my family..."

"But you left them for some reason." Keifer was still sounding hopful.

"For something that cannot befound amongst my brothers...." Keifer only sighed.

"A woman...." Kette nodded. Keifer gazed back at the selkie laying nestled in his son's arms causing Kette to shake his head.

"A long story with a horrible ending...." The older sat down in the chair next to the table.

"So much has been stolen from you son. I feel that it's because of my own selfishness I've brough this upon you. Because I left my clan for the same reason you did...." Keifer was silent for a long time. "You're too much like me son..." He then met his son's blood colored eyes with his own. "You're life with her cannot exist... end it now before it kills her." He stood up and excused himself from the tent to walk past a few men carrying the little soldier to another tent to treat him for his wounds.
Myfi simply curled up against him, unaware of their conversation. She made a small murmuring noise, pressing her forehead against his throat. Her form looked petite and innocent as she pulled at Kette's coat, liking the smell of the fabric. Her sleep was peaceful and unaware.

Casticus rolled over in his sleep, his wound beginning to ache once more. He made a soft groaning noise as he readjusted himself, trying to take the pressure off of his shoulder.
