Welcome to Gaia! ::

She blushed slightly, but held him still, rubbing a palm up and down his back. "Kette, do not cry. I will not leave you," she whispered, twining her fingers in his hair and using her other hand to wipe away the tears sliding down his cheeks. "Do not cry. Siochan leat. Peace be with you..."
Slowly his eyes eased open when she brushed her fingertips across his cheek. He didnt realize quite where he was but he knew he had seen Ryomi. "Ryomi...?" He prayed that she would be the one to answer.
She looked down suddenly surprised to hear a name. "Ryomi?" she repeated, seeing how the new syllables strung together would sound on her tongue. "I am sorry...I am not her, but I promise I will not leave you." She pulled him tighter, still loose enough however that he wouldn't be in pain. "Myfi will not leave you..."

Casticus glared daggers at the two from across the cave, grey blue eyes flashing in the dark as if they were the eyes of cats, predator-like. He grumbled something to himself, not liking how close this demon was getting to Myfi, both mentally and physically. He was close to storming over to them and kicking Kette away from the selkie only stopped by the fact that he knew it would hurt her greatly. For some reason she had become attached to him and Casticus just couldn't bring himself to make her sad. After all, Casticus was practically the only person she had left after her parents were killed.
Deeply saddened that the demon had not answered he hid deeper into her stomach at least glad that some one would not leave him. Slowly he sat up and looked into her deep brown eyes, they were not the crystaline blue one's that he loved so much but they were still soothing to his mind. "I'm sorry Myfi... I didnt mean to intrude." He backed away a little rubbing the back of his hair a little, the streak fading back to red after it had time to dry. He could feel the peircing glare of the man across the cave from them, but he cared very little.
"It is alright," said the selkie, "I do not mind." She wanted desperately to know who this person was that he spoke of, but judging by how he was handling his dream she figured it would only cause him more pain.

Casticus, finding a break in their "moment", walked over to the selkie, arms crossed before muttering, "Put something on, Myfi," and tossing her a stack of her clothing. She looked down at the clothing in her lap, seeming to forget that she wasn't wearing any before slipping into them. She wore a forest green corset that almost looked as if it were made from leaves or some other part of nature along with a pair of simple brown shorts. Casticus looked away, it being habit even after growing up with her and having taken care of her.
Kette slowly stood up and dusted himself off grabbing his vibrant red coat sliding it on gently. "Thank you Myfi... " His voice seemed extremely sad, "I'll leave you two alone now...." Slowly he walked out of the cave with his hands in his pockets back towards the ocean gripping a slip of paper in his fist.
The selkie jumped up, much to Casticus's surprise, and bolted from the cave crying, "No, wait!" She ran up to him, wrapping her arms around his hips from behind, nuzzling her face into his back gently. "Please don't leave..." she whispered. "You're the first person that has truly cared about me besides Casticus..." Tears poured down her face and into the back of his jacket as her shoulders shook with soft sobs.
The fire demon for some reason felt suddenly like the worst person alive. For some reason even though her face was nuzzling into his wounds he wasnt feeling any pain. "Myfi..." What was it about this girl? She bearly knew him and he had no connection to her at all, except this burning desire to see her smile. But he had his own path to follow, one that would more than likely get her in trouble. Slowly he turned around putting his hands on her shoulders. "Dont cry." His voice was soft and tender to try and calm her down. Rain was pouring down on the two while they stood outside the cave. Gently picking her up he carried her inside the cave he set her down out of the rain. He looked deep into her eyes saddly, secretly terrified to let some one close to him again.
Myfi softly pulled him closer, not wanting her new friend to leave her just yet. Casticus's eyes widened at her tears, wanting nothing more than to rush to her and hug her, but he simply gripped his fists tightly, fingernails nearly drawing blood to keep himself from doing so. Instead he slipped into the water without making a sound, only his eyes sticking out from the water, aligator like suddenly. She sniffled, tears still slipping down her cheeks as she hid her face in her palms.
Finally the mighty fire demon caved at the sound of her tears. "Ok.. ok I'll stay." He cupped her face in his palms and wiped her tears away. "Please dont cry." He gently held her to him for a moment trying not to make it seem awkward but then again she was the one that insisted he stay, but that didnt matter right now he wanted her to smile more than anything. He warmed his body slightly to warm her as well, secretly wondering to himself how the hell was he going to fulfill what he came to do?
Her sobs turned to soft hiccups as he wiped away her tears. Myfi bit her lip, whispering, "Thank you..." She scooted closer, liking the warmth his body gave off, not used to it from Casticus's ice cold flesh. She looked up at him, sniffling slightly with the last unshed tears dancing in her eyes and smiled weakly. She looked down, noticing something portruding from his pocket. She tilted her head questioning, "Kette, what is that?"
He pulled it out handing it to her, "Its.... a letter. The reason I was at the beach earlier." He opened it and let her read its contents.

Kette,
We, the council, have reviewed your case and are cosidering aquitting you of your charges. It is urgent that you report to the council immeadiately. Please bring this letter with you as it will autherize you access to Turitella's gates.

The Council
"What does it mean?" she asked, handing the letter back and tipping her head to the side. Casticus emerged from the water, dripping wet but unphazed.

"It means he has to leave, Myfi," he said rather bluntly, smirking on the inside that he had won. He could finally get that annoying fire demon out of his and Myfi's cave until five little words suddenly shattered his confident persona.

"I am going with you."

"Woah woah, WHAT?!" cried Casticus, spazzing out, blue eyes going wide as dinner plates. "I-....that's-...it-...ARGH!" he cried, giving up on making any kind of coherent sentence and instead flinging his hands into the air.
Kette raised an eyebrow at the soaked man but then looked back at Myfi. "Life would not be easy for you to be seen as my ally Myfi. It's best you stay here." He new if nymphs saw her associating with him that it would be the end of her easy life in the water.
"I do not care how difficult it would be. You have been through so many things within a day to help me," she said, slowly pointing to the bandages around his torso. "The least I can do is help you with this. Kette..." The selkie reached over, picking up his hands and holding them between her small ones. "Please allow me to aid you."
