Welcome to Gaia! ::

"Could you tell anything else about where she was?" asked the selkie, continuing to gently massage his head. Casticus only leaned back against the wall, rolling his eyes.

"This is going to turn into a wild goose chase. I mean, how do you even know that it isn't a trap by the same guy that sent the cu sith after you?"
"I dont.." He tried to sound irritated with Casticus but it hurt too much. "I'll go anyway... I have to find Ryomi...." Slowly he sat up, and stood with Myfi's help. "And what if she does need my help...?"
"I'm coming with you," said Myfi, looking up seriously at him. Casticus hopped up, ready to argue the point, but Myfi quickly silenced him. "I can make decisions for myself, Casticus. I know what I want." Casticus looked down at the firey determination in her eyes before sighing.

"Fine. But I'm not about to leave you."

A smile broke out across Myfi's face, saying very sincerely and relieved, "Thank you..." She turnedback to Kette, saying, "Well...if you will still allow me to come with you..."
He was still holding his hand over his eye but looked up at the two with his other, wondering just how much danger he would be putting the selkie and her friend in. He spoke lowly, "What if it is a trap?" He let go of his eye revealing that it had turned blue as well. His voice sounded argumenative towards Myfi going, "It will be extremely dangerous...." Before she could say anything he looked seriously at her, "You could be killed..." She had to know just how dangerous it was to be with him so she wouldnt blindly join him and get killed. Rain began to fall once again beating rythmicly on the roof of the inn.
"It is better to die for something you believe in than to live as a coward. People from my homeland believe in something called urraim. Honor." She stepped closer to him, taking his hand in hers and looking up at him. "More importantly, we believe in cairde." She squeezed his hand comfortingly between hers and her entire demeanor seemed to soften even more as she whispered, "Friends."
The demon sighed knowing she wasnt going to turn back, "Alright." He'd spoken softer than she had but with power still in his voice. "Nautilus told me that there is an ally stationed here... we can get money and horses from him." Thunder clapped across the sky causing the walls to vibrate.
"Do you know where to find them?" asked Myfi, relief washing over her at his response. The rain on the window was oddly comforting to the kelpie as he shut his eyes, leaning back against the wall. His input on the conversation would more than likely be ignored, so instead he simply listened, relaxing while he still was able to.
Kette watched the rain pour outside the windows. "More than likely he's causing the rain... so.. I'm sure he'll have a way to contact us." He walked to the doorway and held out his hand, "I know water fae can communicate through water. But only certain kinds are able to recieve it." He looked back to Myfi. "Maybe he can communicate with you."
Myfi looked at the rain outside, unsure of her abilities. She took a step forward holding her hands out into the storm. The selkie took in a deep breath, shutting her eyes and allowing her senses to take over. The water washed over her bare arms, running down the selkie's pale skin like rivers. There was a sudden, shock like feel through her body as she felt the connection being made. Can you hear me? she asked within the recessess of her mind.
The demon watched her from the doorway admiring her.

Bout time you answered. I've been waiting for two days now. Tell that drunkard to get off his a** and meet me by the fountain in the middle of town.
Oh! she thought, slightly shocked at the ease with which the man spoke. I-I am sorry. The selkie was still a bit taken aback by the feeling of someone invading her thoughts, an uncomfortable feeling of violation spreading over her. We will be there right away. "They want us to meet at the fountain," she said, turning back towards the demon.
Kette nodded stepping out into the rain and walking towards the center of town. Upon arriving the square was empty and only the sound of rain and the splash of the fountain could be heard. "You sure he was here?" He leaned back slightly, whispering to Myfi.

"Would I lie to you Kette?" A man with sandy brown hair and royal blue eyes emerged from around the building beside him. He wore a torn blue shirt underneath layers of worn leather armor. Behind him arched two azure colored spined wings that looked more like fins rather then wings and were not capable of flying and nestled in his locks where two short rounded horns.

"Hystryx!" The demon smiled clapping his hand in the other's. Hystryx laughed as well tackling Kette hugging him.

"Its been a while." The two laughed and joked for a little while until Hystryx turned to she Myfi and her friend. "And who is this?" He bowed taking her hand, "This must be the lovely young lady I spoke to earlier." Kette smiled.

"This is Myfi, Myfi this is my friend Hystryx."
"It is a pleasure to meet a friend of Kette's," said Myfi, bowing. "And this is my friend, Casticus," she said, motioning towards the kelpie. Casticus simply gave a small wave, not paying much attention to the introductions.

"A dragonkin, eh?" said Casticus, smiling slightly. "Well, that's different."
He laughed, "So you noticed? Yeah... I'm more of a sea dragonkin." He grinned widely blushing a bit. "Aaaaaaannd you're a... Kelpie right?" He smiled

"So you're the ally Nautilus was talking about?"

"Yeah... I have your horses ready in that barn over there." He pointed to a barn across the muddy street then following his own directions walking to the barn. Three horses stood inside fully saddled and ready for departure. Hystryx lead Kette to a white arabian horse with a black muzzle and black stockings with its head down low. "I know you dont like horses Kette. So I got this one for you. She's real gentle and patient." Kette hesitantly lifted himself onto the horse and sat on its back, the horse never moved. He smiled victorious.
Myfi walked over to a slender horse with his up, peering around curiously. She patted its nose softly as it snorted, nuzzling into her hand. The selkie giggled as the horse nibbled on her hair, swatting him away gently. It was an apaloosa, a white coat spattered with amber spots. Casticus walked over to a dark chocolate brown female, flaming orange-red mane, whipping wildly as the shifted, not wanting to stay still. "At least someone knows what I am," said the kelpie with a smirk. "I think I caught Kette offguard when he finally figured it out."
