---Micheal Jackson (1958-2009)
The waves crashed against the giant black rocks causing white foam to scatter across the shore. The soft white sand was being constantly pulled and pushed around the beach. Atop the largest of the smooth black rocks sat a man with his elbow resting on his knee. The sea air brushed across his face causing his raven hair to dance across his neck, the red streak defined his blood colored eyes as he stared absently across the green sea. He had been sitting there for quite some time, completely awestruck at the sight of something he had been forbidden to see since he was a child. The ocean seemed to dance and sing with life as if welcoming home a lost son. Gulls few over head and thousands of colorful fish swam together barely skimming the surface of the water. Home.
A loud shriek tore across the shoreline, echoing off of the rocks and mingling with the sound of the waves. "Come here, girl. We're going to have some fun." Two figures struggled on the shore, one of them much smaller, weaker whilst the other one was larger and seemed to tower over the small woman. The man tossed her into the sand, ignoring her cries as he advanced on her, a large piece of what seemed to be a pelt gripped in his hands. She reached out, desperately trying to grab it, but the man only smiled maliciously, holding it above her head, taunting her.

The girl was beautiful to say the least. She was small in stature with skin as pale as the moon, smattered with freckles and large brown eyes welling with tears. Her hair was a silver grey and fell down her back in waves, wet with ocean water. Her clothing appeared to be gone and her skin was littered with swiftly forming bruises. "PLEASE!" she begged, sobbing as he kicked her away from him like a dog.

"Shut up, b***h. You're mine now."
The man was starled out of his dreamy state nearly slipping off his perch but saved himself by grabbed onto it. Looking slightly dazed he looked around for the source of the shouting until he found it. Laying sprawled in the sand was a woman being terroized by a much larger boar of a man. Sliding gently from his rock he walked towards the pair his red cloak flailing behind him. Upon approaching the man he glared deeply at him, "Let her go." His words peirced through the girls screams and cries with deathly warning.
The man looked up, grunting in frustration at being interrupted. "Oh yeah? And what do you think you'll do if I don't, boy?" he spat, yanking the woman up by the hair, pressing a dagger to her warm throat. Her whimpers were pleading, large amber brown eyes begging for a savior. The larger man held up the brown-grey pelt, waving it about as if it were a victory flag. "She's mine now. I've finally caught a selkie and you aren't taking it away."
Before the last word came out of the man's mouth a shot rang out and a bullet sunk directly into his forehead silencing him forever. "It's you're life I'm taking away." He watched the man drop and slid his smoking pistol back into its holster on his thigh. He didnt seem to be too bothered at the fact that the woman was nude. He looked into her terrified brown eyes and felt his heart melt at how scared she really was. "Are you hurt?" His voice became noticably gentler as he held out his hand not wanting to scare her further by approaching her.
She curled up in a ball, hugging her legs to her chest and peering at thim over her knees. She nodded slowly, hiding her face. She was trembling and her eyes kept darting from Kette to the pelt resting in the corpse's hand as if fearful he might take it. She stretched out her arm, attempting to reach it, but finding she was far to weak to do so, and simply falling into the sand. Her eyelids felt heavy, as if she couldn't stay awake as she whimpered in the sand, pain blooming underneath her skin.
Slowly he took off his cloak and kneeled down beside her. He draped his cloak over her to cover her and sat in the sand beside her. Then he noticed what the girl was reaching for. It looked.... like a seal skin. Regaurdless he grabbed it to place it in her hand. After a few moments of letting her calm down he gently touched her shoulder. "Where do you live, I'll take you home."
She gripped the pelt tightly to her chest, as well as clutching at his cloak. The girl looked out towards the land, pointing to a forest near them. "F-follow the river," she managed to get out, her voice soft, like the the sound of a wind chime. Innocence could be found in the way she spoke, almost childishly but still with age. She allowed him to touch her, looking up at him with her large eyes and whispering, "What is your name?"
He wrapped the cloak around her small frame slung the pelt over his shoulder and picked her up in his arms, allowing her head to lay against his chest. He warmed his body temperature slightly to try and keep her warm as well and started to walk towards the river following it upstream. "Kette.." He held her tightly to his chest having this odd urge to protect her, as if she were a small child. He continued to walk up river until finding a cove close to it. "There..?"
She nodded, gripping his shirt in her fists. "I am Myfi," she whispered, still looking up into his crimson eyes. The cave was dark, only a small amount of light was seen bouncing off of the large lake that rippled gently. Suddenly a pair of furious pale blue eyes were visible, quickly followed by a fist that rammed itself into Kette's nose, despite the girl's cries of, "CASTICUS, NO!"
"UNH!" Kette grit his teeth and stepped back to stay balanced but remained standing refusing to drop the one in his arms. Blood dripped from his lips lining his fangs in crimson, he growled darkly glaring at his attacker through the red streak in his hair. Instinct told him to reach for his gun but his hands where kind of full.
A man with algae green hair that fell to his shoulders, entwined with seaweed and shells and dressed in odd looking clothing appeared, yanking Myfi from the demon's arms.

"Don't worry, Myfi. I've got you," said the Scottish man, holding her protectively. His eyes went wide as the selkie angrily shoved him away, slapping him hard on the cheek.

"Don't touch him!" she cried, Irish accent getting more distinct as she yelled. "He saved me!" He turned to Kette, looking up at him with soft eyes. "Are you alright?"
Kette wipped the blood from his face on his gloved hand and spat out the blood in his mouth. "Im fine.." He sounded colder this time and dropped the pelt onto the stone floor to turn and walk out of the cove. "You're welcome..." He sounded annoyed as he dug his hands into his pockets kicking rocks as he exited the cove to walk back towards the ocean.
