Welcome to Gaia! ::

Myfi had her shortsword drawn, standing behind Kette in fear. The creatures were all still, examining their prey before one finally sped foward, heading straight towards Casticus. He dodged the crocodile-like beast, though not entirely, his right arm catching on one of its teeth. He grit his teeth, blood pouring down from his sleeve. "Damnit..." he muttered.
Sylryl knocked the creature that attacked Casticus, back slashing across its back and leaping to the side of it. Blood dripped from her axe as she stood in front of him, "You ok?"

Kette knelt down and slid is arm underneath Myfi "Hold onto me." Aiming his gun at the huge crocodile he lifted her onto his back and jumped over it firing several shots into it from above and hurrying to get out of the way once he landed, allowing Myfi to get to her feet. The creature reeled in pain and whipped its head around snapping at him. Its back scaled cracked like dried ear and began to soak with blood. It hissed and spat at him turning its huge body to propel its self forward at ridiculous speed. Kette grabbed Myfi again tossing her to the side getting rammed by the train of an animal and pinned down by its huge body, and jaws clamped down on his forearm.

Ryomi and Apollo raced forward at the same time, the demon dragging her sword through the mud and swiping it across the other monster as Apollo took off after the one next to Ryomi stomping its maw with stone hooves and snapping its sharp teeth at it.
Casticus was trying to catch his breath, clutching at his upper arm. "Fine..." he said, lying to her. Pain was shooting through his arm and he doubted he would be able to use it much.

One of the crocodiles had lunged at Gable, the batling lifting into the air just in time to dodge its gaping maw.

"KETTE!" she cried, suddenly terrified for the demon. She panicked for a moment when suddenly everything seemed to slow down in her vision. In her mind, she could picture everything in the wastelands, all a dull greyscale color. Flecks in the crococodile seemed to glow a soft blue in her mind's eye. Her eyes snapped open, staring at the terradylus. She took a deep breath as she had been taught to do and as she released it extended her energy from her body and into those glowing points. All the water that made up the crocodiles muddy outercasing was suddenly pulled from it, its scales cracking. The creature cried out, its speed being cut dramatically.
The terradylus hissed and threw its head back letting go of Kette. He scrambled away from the creature cradling his arm but watching in amazement. "They're... made of water!?" He stood up, "Ryomi!! They're made of water!"

The demoness smiled, "Is that so?" She held her hand out and froze the drops of water in the terradylus slowing it tremendously before she sunk her sword into the ground and sliced across the monsters neck causing its severed head to fall to the ground and spurt blood.

The giant black horse began stomping the head of the other causing dried earth to fall off its face. He whinnied and sunk his teeth into its upper jaw ripping out chunks up it, blood dripping from his glittering teeth.

Sylryl stood between him and the terradylus, "Get up," She kept the monster at bay until he could escape.

Kette stood up smiling back and Myfi, "I'll take it from here." He stretched out his good arm and smirked evilly tensing his fingers until they clamped down into a fist and every tiny drop of water in the terradylus burst out of its body and hovered in the air as it began to boil away into steam and dissolve in the air.
Casticus gripped his other sickle tightly, slashing at one that came near. "I won't leave you here either," he said, grinning towards her.

Gable watched as as the other terradyli were killed. He looked at the one, currently circling him. Thinking quickly, he shut his eyes, speaking what sounded similar to Latin. White ribbons burst forth from the ground, holding the crocodile still and pinning it to the ground.

Myfi watched as that crocodile curled up in pain, falling to the ground and dying. She gripped into Kette's jacket with her small hands.
The man-eating equine bit down on the terradylus's top jaw and stomped down on its bottom jaw and pulled. A sickening snap came from the creature before it fell to the ground dead. Just to make sure it was dead, the horse stomped it numerous times.

Sylryl glanced back at him, "Then attack it from the right." Without a second thought she sprinted to the left dodging its massive jaws.

Kette pulled Myfi close to his side keeping an eye out for more while the rest were being dealt with.
Casticus followed her did as he was told, using his good arm to slice down the creatures side, a large gash of crimson appearing behind the flash of silver.

Myfi turned to see Gable's crocodile trapped, writhing beneath the tightly bound chords. She held out her hands, doing as she did before and taking the water fromt eh creatures scales. The crust of the creature grew fissures that formed spiderwebs down the lenghth of its body. Gable picked a point in the bound beast where it appeared the cracks were the deepest and put all of his focus into aiming at it. One sharp bolt of vivid white shot down at the creature, piercing its weak flesh and sinking into its head. The creature gave one last violent twitch before falling to the ground.
Sylryl, with one swift motion swung her axe around to chop off the head of the crocodile-like monster. She stood up and smiled watching it collapse.

Ryomi smiled laughing to herself at Sylryl, "They don't call you Executioner for nothing."

Kette sighed in relief glad they were all dead. "Finally.." He glanced to Myfi, "Are you hurt?" He was more worried about her that his arm that was almost ripped off, and was now pouring blood onto the muddy ground.
Myfi swiftly assured him that she was fine before grabbing his arm, closing her eyes in an attempt to heal it. She was so exhausted from the days training, but she wanted so badly to help him. She pushed all of her energy into it as the wound closed up slightly, the pain numbing. After she had pushed herself as hard as she could, her completely drained body slumped foward against Kette's chest, slipping in and out of a dreamless sleep.

Casticus smiled at her, gripping his arm and wincing in pain. Blood has run all the way down his arm, dripping off of his fingertips. The gash was quite deep, at least an inch in some areas. He allowed it to hangs limply to his side.

Gable hovered down to beside Ryomi, making sure she was alright.
Sylryl took his arm and drug her fingers over it, able to mend it but not ease the pain. "Come on, lets get back inside before more come."

Ryomi nodded, putting her sword away, her tails swishing behind her as she walked back inside becoming suddenly quite sleepy. "Mmmh fighting with a baby on board is exhausting."

Kette hastily caught the selkie in his arms, "Myfi." He sighed, realizing that he hadn't taught her when to quit. He lifted her into his arms and carrying her inside.
Casticus followed her, still wincing in pain. He flexed his fingers absently so they wouldn't go numb. He walked into their room, sitting on the cot and looking at the wound with a frown. "I should have been faster..." he muttered to himself.

Gable chuckled at her, putting an arm around her. "I bet," he said guiding her inside, wrapping a wing around her gently. "You need sleep."

Myfi stayed limp in his arms, completely worn out and asleep.

As they went inside, none of them seemed to notice the softly glowing orb that floated high in the sky, observing them. It was still for a while before floating lazily off into the wind.
The elf slid her hand under his chin guiding him to look up at her, "You only lost your focus. Its something all amateurs do."

Ryomi allowed her head to rest on his, "But I'm hungryyyy. I want some oranges and ice cream again."

Kette shook his head listening to the whiny pregnant woman before carrying Myfi back to their cot and resting her in its sheets. He tucked her in and kissed her head before returning outside to sit in the grass and keep watch. Soon the huge dark horse approached him with quieted hoof beats, he loomed over the demon but seemed to be listening.
"I suppose..." he muttered. Casticus sighed, leaning his forehead against hers. He winced, feeling a headache beginning to set on. "s**t..." he muttered shutting his eyes tightly.

Gable chuckled at her random craving and kissed the top of her head. "I'll get you some," said the batling, smiling at her.

Outside, high in the sky, the glowing orb had returned, hiding itself amongst the stars. It seemed still, observing the demon below.
She gently touched her lips to his temple trying to sooth his sickness.

The demoness nestled back into her favorite spot and snuggled into the blankets waiting for her frozen citrus treat.

Slowly his eyes began to get heavy. After only a short while he curled up with his knees to his chest allowed his head to rest on his knees and dozed off.
Casticus leaned into her, allowing himself to drift off. He leaned downward, laying his head in her lap.

It wasn't but a few moments before Gable returned with the bowl of requested food goods. "Here you are," he said presenting it to the demoness. He sat down beside her, removing his boots and sitting cross-legged on the bed.

The orb, noticing the demon had fallen unconscious, floated down lightly to the ground, disipating into a shadowy humanoid form. The person flicked her scarf behind her neck, grinning and slowly creeping over to the demon like a mouse. She bent over gracefully, picking up his gun between her thumb and forefinger and spinning it around in her palm.
