delia, alek, penelope, sheldon
the strong daughter of zeus and the bold son of poseidon.
questing with the crafty artemis lieutenant and the optimistic mortal.

So it had been settled. The people on the trip would include Simeon, Alek, Delia, Delphia, Leo, Penny, Leena, Maggie. Delia wasn't too happy about the last Hunter going. There was something about the girl that didn't sit well with Delia. She also wasn't happy about the fact that there would be mortals accompanying them on this quest. Mortals were dangerous. She hadn't needed to be at Camp for too long to understand that they were a bad thing. But Simeon had discovered that they needed a certain mortals help, and that included going to the girls prom. How the head-strong, arrogant boy knew this girl, Delia didn't know. Simeon hadn't told her that. But now she needed to pack her things, and she needed to talk to someone about getting a dress for this stupid prom.

Delia didn't know where she was supposed to get a prom dress. But all she had to say was that she was definitely not dancing. There had been a reason that Delia had never once gone to any of the dances that had been held at any of her schools. Delia finished up packing her things. Including her mascara that turned into a sword. Shortly after the meeting of the camp councilors, Mr. D had been summoned to Mount Olympus, to talk to their father. It was weird having a father all of a sudden. Delia hadn't gotten used to it yet. But Mr. D, had called her and Phia to the Big House, and given them a hair clip, that turned into a shield, and a mascara that turned into a sword, when she opened it.

Now Delia brought her things from her cabin. She needed to get herself a dress. The only way she Phia, Xyleena, and Penelope would be able to get a dress in such short notice would be if they borrowed something from Electra. Electra had grudgingly agreed to supply them with dresses, from her and the other Aphrodite girls. So now, Delia, Delphia, Penelope, and Xyleena would meet each other in the Aphrodite Cabin to find a dress suitable to their needs. She sighed, as she let her dark hair drape over her shoulder. It didn't take her long to get to the Aphrodite cabin, but Delia didn't want to go in their alone. All the feminine clothes, and makeup, nail polish. The thought made her shudder. Del would wait for at least her sister, or maybe her sister and the hunters. Phia was off with some of the other campers, doing something or other. But Del did wonder how the boys were going to get tuxes for this dance. She didn't think that Simeon, Alek, and Leo all had them just lying around waiting to be used.

Alek sighed. He was all alone in his cabin making sure he had his things. He packed extra outfits, and some shoes, along with some golden drachmas, and actual mortal money. Alek didn't know what he would be needing on this quest. He had never once seen the labyrinth, he had actually thought it had been long gone, since Simeon's first quest. But apparently not. He was still trying to figure out some of the lines of the prophecy. It was a mystery to him. But Simeon had solved one line of it, about the mortals. Something about an friend who they would desperately need that person's help. Alek didn't like the fact they had to include a mortal in their quest. But it must be done right?

Alek grabbed his sword, Riptide, he had inherited it from his brother Percy Jackson. It was a pen, but when you uncapped it, it turned into a sword. Alek put the cap on Riptide, and put it back in his pocket. It was a trusty sword, because if he ever lost it, it would reappear in his pocket. Now that he had everything he was going to meet with Leo and Simeon. They needed to talk about certain things, about the quest. One was very pressing on his mind. The dance. He didn't have a suit laying around just waiting to be used. Simeon said he had a plan for that as well.

Penny sat in the Artemis cabin and was waiting for Leena to stop pacing around and being all huffy. Leena still hadn't cooled off after the whole "Oaths will be broken" statement in the prophecy. Penny still couldn't understand who it would be that would break their oath. She and Leena were the strongest and oldest of the hunters. They had seen the terrible things love could do to someone. Penny just shook her head. She was packing her arrows in her quiver and her bow. Plus some other things she would need. Leo still hadn't learned his lesson from the last time they had met each other. He was still trying to make advances towards her, and she was still rejecting him. So Penny had nothing to worry about with her, breaking her oath now did she. And Leena had none of the campers making advances on her. The prophecy must be wrong. But prophecies were never wrong, nor could you stop them from occurring.

"Are thou ready to get thy dress?" She asked. Penny knew this would cause another tirade, and stir even more anger up in her friend. But they had to get this mortal and the only way to do it was to go to this prom, dressed like they were supposed to be there. Penny grabbed her bad, and flipped her hair, standing to her full height. If she needed to, Penny would give Leena a direct order to go to the Aphrodite cabin to borrow a dress. But Penny hoped that wouldn't be necessary. She made her way over to the other girls, and told them to stay her and to the Aphrodite Cabin to meet Delia, and Delphia. Penny had to admit she was very interested in the eldest twin. She was strong and had great potential, plus she seemed to be put off towards love as well. Penny had noticed Simeon's attraction

Shelly woke up to his younger sister jumping on him. This wasn't the greatest thing in the world to wake up to. But he had to admit that he did like having a younger sister. Shelly loved kids, and wanted them when he got older and was much more financially stable. His mom always talked about how he and Adrienne should get married. His mother didn't seem to notice the fact that Adrienne was head-over-heels for Simeon. But whatever. He grabbed Cecilia and lugged her off of him. Then he continued on going to his shower. While the water warmed up, Shelly stripped down to his birthday suit. He had never been extremely muscular, nor was he someone who was totally geeky.

The shower really woke him up. He loved water. He liked swimming but wasn't strong enough for the swim team. Shelly never really fit in anywhere. But somehow Adrienne had seen something inside of him, he didn't really know was there. It didn't take him long to get dressed up and everything. He was excited tonight was the dance. Where he would dance the night away. Pretty soon, Adrienne and her limo driver were there waiting for him to come outside. Shelly made his way down to the limo and saw Adrienne's bubbly face, and beautiful blonde hair. He had to admit she always was pretty, but she was more like his sister than she was anything else. It didn't take them long to get to school. And now it would be another day of taunts and teases from all the jocks.

delphia, simeon, xyleena, leonidas
the intelligent daughter of zeus and the witty son of athena.
questing with the determined artemis hunter and the arrogant son of ares.

The past week had been horrible. Simeon acted like he was tied to a least, Alek was excited, Del didn't act like she cared too much, Leo was constantly hitting on Penny, Leena was all shook up from the "oaths" part of the prophecy. Everyone kept asking her where she was going and what they where going to what they where going to do. Truth be told, it was extremely annoying. It got to the point where Phia decided she was just going to stay in her cabin except during dinner, lunch, breakfast and activities. Campers where gossiping and whispering, some eyed them up and down like they where the plague. No wonder Chiron had warned about telling campers about the quest, so well, they didn't. Phia was iffy about what she shared and what she did. Simeon and Alek had told her to get her items ready to leave. Now, it was the day before they had to leave and Simeon discovered something extremely scary. They where all going to prom.

Okay, so prom. Delphia had never been to a prom, but it was every demigod's nightmare. There would be at least five powerful demigods in one room -- she didn't know who Leena or Penny's parentage was -- but that would attract a lot of monsters. That was the last thing she wanted. Now, she was sitting in her cabin wiping her hands on her pants. She couldn't imagine going to a prom, much less wearing a dress. Why did they even have to do something so ridiculous? It was absurd. They could just waltz into the dance, take the girl, and then waltz off. What was too hard about that? "I don't know what the point of this is," Phia sighed before rising to her feet. She left her cabin slowly, and walked down the marble stairs. She was supposed to be going over to the pretty Aphrodite cabin, where Electra was supposed to be giving dresses to the girls. She seemed reluctant to give dresses to the hunters, but in the end she felt as if it was for a good cause. Phia now wished she hadn't volunteered for the quest with her sister, but if her sister applied, so would she. It sucked being the younger sister.

Now, Delphia was standing in the Aphrodite cabin. Electra was rushing back and forth picking out dresses. Marcus sat on a different bed, smiling at Phia with his creepy smile. Phia looked away and towards her sister who just came out in her dress. She looked beautiful, as always. Next was Phia. She slowly grabbed the dress that Electra had picked out. Reluctantly, Phia changed into her dress and watched as Electra dolled her up. It was awkward and different walking in heels. She was used to walking around in converse or tennis shoes. Anything other than tall, pointy shoes. She frowned at herself in the mirror and looked over at Electra. "Am I supposed to look this ridiculous?" Phia asked, pulling at the bottom of her dress. "You look gorgeous! Now, go get those boys." Electra winked at Phia before pushing her and her sister out of the door. Phia and Del walked up towards the Big House, and waited for the boys to get their tuxes. Wherever they where going to get them.

The very last thing Leena wanted to do was go to some type of prom with boys. Much less Simeon, Alek or Leonidas. They acted like... well, boys. It was so aggravating she wanted to turn them into rats then cut off their tails. Too bad Lady Artemis had banned her from doing so. Now, she was pacing back and forth in the Artemis cabin, still baffled about the prophecy. There was no changing prophecies, but this was the last thing she wanted to do. "Oaths will be broken. Bah! That's a lie. He is lying to us," Leena spat, still pacing. She hated it so much. She couldn't stand the thought of being told that she was going to break her oath. "This is ridiculous. Why should I even go? Replace me with someone else." Leena knew she would go even if she didn't want to, but this was serious. Oaths? Broken? In the same sentence? That was like saying "Leo is so smart!" You would have to be a complete buffoon to think so. The idea actually made her smile, but it quickly faded when Penelope asked to get the dress. "I suppose I have no choice." Xyleena frowned, and walked out of the cabin. Ooh fun.

Leena quickly walked towards the Aphrodite cabin. As soon as she got it over with, the better. Before she could open the door, Phia and Del stormed out, smelling strongly of roses and hairspray. The girls looked gorgeous, but uncomfortable. Electra was sorting through her dresses, and laid out two dresses with shoes and everything. Leena didn't both to smile, but when she saw Marcus, she banished him from his own cabin. "Leave while you still can, boy." Leena stabbed a finger towards the door, and watched as the Aphrodite boy pouted out of the cabin. "Let us get this over with," Leena said snatching up the dress from Electra. She glared at her before mumbling something to herself. "She's going to get hate all over my dress," Electra pouted as Leena changed in Electra's wardrobe, that was about as big as one of her huntress tents. Which could fit about five campers with extra space. She changed into her dress that just so happened to be her favorite color and show a fair amount of cleavage. When she walked out, she felt like a million dollars.

The last time she wore a dress was about two thousand years ago, when she went to a ball. It hadn't been as sexy as the dress she was wearing now. Electra smiled, it was a weak smile, but hey, it counts. "Don't get too much hate on that dress. It's a Prada original. I would tell you to get those boys, but you wouldn't like that too much," Electra kind of shrugged like she knew about the oath. That made her kind of pissy. Glaring at the girl, she stormed out of the cabin and towards Del and Phia. Oh, how she knew she was going to hate this.

It was only Wednesday when he realized he needed something, someone extremely important. Even though he had turned her down when she asked him to the prom, he was now going to her prom. He knew he owed her at least one dance, but hopefully he could squeeze in Delia if she let him. Adrienne, his mortal friend that could see through the mist, had the amazing ability to lead them through the labyrinth. At first, he realized he was in luck, and then he realized what day it was. Prom. Of course. Nemesis was probably doing this to him because he had too much "luck". If that's what they called it. He was supposed to get all fancied up, which he didn't understand. He had never gone to a prom, but supposedly you where supposed to look "nice", dress fancy and what not. To do that, they where supposed to dress all fancy. If they wanted to persuade Adrienne to go with them, they would have to look like they where ready for prom.

To do that, they had to go to Marcus. The girls went to Electra, whom seemed reluctant to do so. In the end, it was all sorted out. While he went towards the Aphrodite cabin with Alek and Leo, he spotted Marcus outside of the cabin, peeking inside of the curtains. Was he surprised? Of course not. Simeon chuckled before meeting up with him. "Do they look hot?" Simeon asked. Marcus almost jumped out of his shoes. "I'm not watching," Marcus lied, smiling. "Are you dudes ready? You've got a hell of a night. Once these girls are-" Just as he said that, Leena stormed out of the cabin. He shrugged, peeked in the door, then out came Penny. He smiled then shrugged, "I guess we can go inside now." He said it so nonchalantly, Simeon almost felt nervous for himself, Alek and Leonidas.

Marcus already had three suits on his bunk. One was a grayish color, another a deep black and another a crazy white. Simeon raised his eyebrows and decided he wanted the gray one, just to bring out his eyes. The tie, and everything else was a pale blue. While he was changing, he had no clue on how to tie his tie. It was awkward, but he knew Marcus had to do it. When he walked out of his wardrobe, he walked towards Marcus and he immediately tied his tie. So much for awkward. After he was dressed, he walked out of the doors and went towards the hill, where Del, Phia, Penny and Leena stood. They all looked beautiful, but Del stood out the most. "You all look... spiffy," Simeon complimented the girls, but he mostly spoke to Delia.

A mortal who could see through the mist? Bull s**t. There was no such thing, right? How could a mortal see through the mist when he could hardly see through the ******** mist? The thought simply irritated him. No way was there such a thing. Ha, and people thought he was stupid. If Simeon believed that he knew a girl who could see through the mist and she was just a human, maybe he was the stupid one, right? Even if his mom was Athena. That didn't mean he couldn't be dumb... right? The whole process simply confused him, but he walked along with Simeon and Alek anyways. Who cares about prom? He just wanted a date with the glorious Penny. Yeah, like that was going to happen. But hey, a man could dream, right? His dream just so happened to be to ask Penelope for just one dance. She had to give him at least that, right? Wrong. Just as they approached the Aphrodite cabin, Leena stormed out looking quite sexy with her cleavage. After Leena came Penny, who looked even sexier. He totally had to get a date with that chica.

Marcus was peeking through the curtains, of course. What was new? It was a Leonidas move, one that he had taught the Aphrodite male. "Hey man, we're ready to get those ridiculous suits you have for us. I mean, who has a suit?" Once they where in the cabin, Simeon picked which one he wanted first before changing. After Alek picked which one he wanted, Leo grabbed the last one -- not really caring because he looked good in anything -- and walked off to one of the nearest wardrobes. Never before had he seen anything so big. It was the size of his siblings! After changing, Leo left the cabin without waiting for anything else. He walked towards Half-Blood hill where a dragon and a golden fleece lay on a giant pine tree. In front, was a long white limo with Argus at the wheel. Any surprise? Then, he caught eye of Penny. She looked stunning in her dress, but then again she always did. "Spiffy? She's lookin' hot," Leo winked at Penelope.

delia, alek, penelope, sheldon
the strong daughter of zeus and the bold son of poseidon.
questing with the crafty artemis lieutenant and the optimistic mortal.

Delia stood there as Electra rumaged through her things and found the perfect black dress, with some jewelry. She was amazed at how pretty she actually looked. And Delia wasn't one to go around throwing the word "pretty" up in the air too much. Then Electra had the other Aphrodite girls work on her hair and makeup. They gave her smoky eyes, with some mascara, that made her long lashes stand out. Delia had to admit it was pretty hard to walk in these high heels, but somehow she was managing not to fall on her face. The other girls worked on her hair. They put it up in a loose bun with tendrils curled, framing her face. Delia would have much rather have left it down. But they hadn't listened to a word of protest, and did what they wanted. She was surprised that they were able to tame her unruly hair. Maybe she would have to go to them more often.

Once finally done, with the girls adding a touch of sheer lip gloss, Delia was ready to go with her sister. They decided that Leena and Penny were still getting primped for their night at prom, that they would leave for the top of Half-Blood Hill. There Argus, their million billion-eyed security guard stood by a white limo waiting to take them to this school. It didn't take long for Leena to stomp up the hill followed by a very self-conscious, yet dignified Penny. Those hunters did clean up nice. Delia nodded at them, and gave them a slight smile. She wasn't too friendly with them, and they were always looking at her weirdly, and it seemed to her at least, that they were talking about her as well. What they could be talking about her, she had no clue. Finally the boys came up, Simeon in the lead, in his gray suit, with blue tie, then Alek, with his all black suit. And then finally, Leo, in the all white suit. Simeon said that they all looked spiffy, and for a moment Delia blushed and averted her eyes from him. "You don't look that bad yourself guys." She said, secretly directing the comment at Simeon. Delia was itching to get into the white limo and head to the prom. She wanted to get this done and over with.

Alek walked with Simeon and Leo. They were headed over to the Aphrodite cabin. He, Simeon, and Leo all needed suits. And their boy Marcus was just the guy to give them what they needed. He sighed, and ran a hand through his black hair. He turned his electric green eyes on the Aphrodite cabin. It didn't look that big on the outside, but on the inside it was HUGE. Alek spotted Marcus standing at the front of the cabin peering in. Then it didn't take long for Leena and Penny to walk out of the cabin. Well more like storm out. Leena didn't look happy. Alek just smiled and shook his head. He couldn't wait to see Delphia. She would look gorgeous in anything she wore. Which was practically true. Alek thought Phia would look good in anything she wore.

Walking in, Simeon took the gray suit, which left him and Leo either an all black suit, or an all white suit. Alek picked the all black suit. It would bring out the green in his eyes. With his choice in his hand, he walked to one of the dressing rooms, and put it on. Like Simeon, Alek didn't know how to tie a tie, so he had to have Marcus tie it for him. Marcus didn't seem to be bothered, in all actuality, Marcus seemed over-joyed to help them all. It didn't take long, and then Alek went to the full length mirror in the cabin. He looked at himself in the mirror, he looked very debonair and charming. Alek thought he almost looked like a younger version of 007. Finally being done, he Simeon and Alek made their way to the top of Half-Blood Hill. It didn't really surprise him that Argus was their waiting for them, but what did surprise him was that they had a white limo. Alek really wanted to know how they had gotten a white limo, maybe Apollo with his numerous cars lent it to them. Then he spotted Phia, she looked gorgeous. He blinked a few times, not out of surprise, but of awe. Phia was leaving him speechless. Then Alek whistled, but not like normal guys would be, thinking the girls were meat, but in a complimental way. "Boy, you guys look amazing. I don't know if there are any words to describe it."

Penny walked to the Aphrodite Cabin. She didn't particularly like these girls, or guys. Mainly because they were all self-centered, and infatuated with their reflections. Plus their mother was all about love, and everything. Which she whole-heartedly did not believe in for one second. Penny stepped inside the cabin. As soon as she was inside, Electra thrust a blue dress at her. When Penny put it on, she sharply inhaled. The dress was way too short. Coming out, Electra clapped her hands. "My work here is done." She said. Penny grimaced, "Don't you have anything longer?" She asked. "No. You look perfect just the way you are." Electra said indignantly. Penny could see that they weren't going to budge. She couldn't help but fidget with the fringe on the bottom of her dress. Then Leena stormed out of the cabin. Penny went to the door, but turned back to Electra and the other girls, "I just want to thank tho for everything. It is much appreciated." She said. "Sure whatev. Good luck." Electra replied.

And with that, Penny left and caught up to Leena. She couldn't run very well in these high heels, but they had to fit in with the mortals. As they were leaving, the boys walked in. She rolled her eyes at Leonidas. He was always so cocky. Penny tried not to let him get to her. It didn't take them long to get to the top of Half-Blood Hill. She watched as a white limo came into sight, plus the twins and the security guard. She then began speaking privately to Leena as Maggie staggered up the hill in her dress. Penny rolled her eyes. She was still unhappy with Maggie volunteering for this quest. Penny thought of her as a younger sister, and she tried to look out for the girl as is she actually was related to her. It didn't take long for the boys to get there. Leo walked up, and Simeon and Alek tried to be nice, where Leonidas was just blunt and honest saying that she looked hot. Penny smirked with a devilish thought in her mind. She walked seductively up to Leonidas and smiled, she got real close, and then punched him in the arm really hard. He didn't seem to notice much, but it sure hurt her hand. "You wish Leonidas." She said, taking her place next to Leena.

Shelly had made through the entire day of school. But by the end of it he was so antsy he could barely sit still. Shelly was so excited that he was actually excited enough for both he and Adrienne. They were both going stag, but they were going together as friends. Finally he got home, and didn't even stop to say hello to his sister, or his mother. Shelly's father was still at work and probably wouldn't get home until after he had left. He went to his room and saw his mother had laid out his suit for the dance, on his bed. He smiled to himself. "Good ole' ma." He said. Then Shelly went to his bathroom to take a shower. He wanted to smell extra good for the dance. He was bound to dance with one beautiful girl tonight. That was Shelly's goal. If he could get one girl to dance with him, other than Adrienne he'd be happy.

It didn't take him long to wash his dark curly hair, or his body. Stepping out of the shower, Shelly turned his iPod on, and it was Kelly Clarkson. Although he knew the song, it wasn't one he had put on there. His sister had been messing with his things. Shelly would kill her later. He began dancing around to "My Life Would Suck Without You" around the bathroom as he put some cologne on and dried himself off. Now it was time to go to his bedroom and put his suit on. He continued to sing as "It's My Life" By Bon Jovi came on. Definitely a song he had put on there. It didn't take him long to get his suit on. And he went back to his bathroom to take a look at his hair. It never did what he wanted so Shelly never really bothered. He brushed his hair. When he was satisfied with his appearance, he went back to his bedroom. There, Shelly put his shoes on and grabbed his ticket.

Then he went downstairs where his mom was ready with the camera snapping pictures. Shelly struck a few funny poses, and then smiled while he hugged his mother. They were interrupted by the doorbell ringing. He smiled. As Shelly opened the door he took in a gorgeous looking Adrienne. She stuck her arm in his and off they went to the dance. It didn't take them long to get there. Adrienne got asked to dance by a bunch of guys. And Shelly just stood in the corner by himself with all the other geeks, or freaks. But then he looked up and saw a group of new teenagers walk in. Shelly's smile widened, and his sun just got a little brighter at the sight of the tall dark haired female, in the red dress.

delphia, simeon, xyleena, leonidas
the intelligent daughter of zeus and the witty son of athena.
questing with the determined artemis hunter and the arrogant son of ares.

The boys soon showed up. The three of them were walking up the hill and towards the mysterious limo with the hundred eyed guy. Simeon wore a gray suit, Alek -- who looked marvelous -- wore a black suit, and Leo wore a white suit, which looked funny on him. He had darker skin and black hair. The white suit didn't match at all. Phia laughed to herself at his appearance, but kept it to herself. "You look pretty good yourself, Alek." Phia had addressed on Alek. She looked over at the other boys and nodded at them too. "You guys look good, too." Phia blushed, before turning towards the limo and swung the door open. The inside of the thing was freaking giant. It looked like it was made to fit five demigods and two hunters. Wide eyed, Delphia climbed into the limo nearest to the opposite window. Alek filed in after her, then Delia, Simeon, Leonidas, Penelope and Xyleena. It was a pretty nice limo, especially the little light switch where you could turn the lights on or off.

Subconsciously playing with the clip in her hair, she watched the world of Manhattan pass her by as they went to that girls school. The windows where tinted dark, but she could still see everything. Every now and then she would pull at the bottom of her dress to prevent anything from being seen. Gods forbid Alek or Leo catch sight of her underwear. Pretty soon, the limo came to a complete stop in front of the school. It looked just like her old school, but only a little bigger. Phia entered the school with her friends, and immediately was stopped by a couple of teachers before they could enter the gym. "Excuse me, who are you seven and why aren't you in the gym?" Delphia looked at everyone else, before Leena came up with a back up. She simply snapped her fingers, said something, and the teachers allowed them to go to the gym. Who knew it would be that easy. Before they could even enter the place, Phia could hear the music booming from the place. Immediately, she felt uneasy. There where one too many half-bloods going to a dance filled with human beings. Oh gods, what next. They pushed through the doors and immediately where swamped by a bunch of teenagers. Delphia tried to stay close to Alek.

Well, it had pretty much all gone as planned. Del had complimented them before they all jumped inside of the limo. Before long, they where already heading towards the dance at Adrienne's school. He knew she would flip, but they had to get out of there before the monsters could pick up their scent. Chances were, it wouldn't take too long for them to pick up their scent. That was the only thing that made him uneasy about doing this. That and asking Delia to dance. He would try to get a dance out of her before he looked for Adrienne. Chances where, Adrienne was going to want a dance too. It was going to get pretty heated. Hopefully, they could get the dances over with quickly before some monsters got a hold of their scent. They didn't want a bunch of hellhounds crashing the dance. Gods, that would be a pain in the a**. The humans would probably think that it was some type of giant wolf, except for Adrienne. She was one in a million.

Arriving at the dance, they where soon stopped by two teachers. One was big and fat and the other was tall and skinny. "We are-" Simeon started, but he was interrupted by Leena who snapped her fingers and told the group of teachers that they where students at the school and had arrived a little late due to problems with their parents. What had she done? Used the mist? Simeon stared at her until they started forward, towards the dance. "What was that?" He whispered to Leena as they entered the dance. Before she could respond, the music filled his ears. It was loud and annoying. Sweaty teenagers where dancing to the beat, and a few loners were hanging out. Leena strayed herself against the wall, and immediately one of those loners walked up to Leena. Not a smart move. Simeon laughed to himself and stood close to Delia. When a slower song came on and everyone was pairing off, Simeon reluctantly turned towards Del. "Would you like to dance?" Simeon asked awkwardly.

After the boys arrived, they all got into the limo. Leena rolled her eyes at Simeon who had complimented them, and thought that Leo deserved what he got. Xyleena hadn't been to a normal school in over two thousand years. She had never been to a dance, let alone dance with a male. She once took salsa dancing and she was quite good at it. That was different though. Lady Artemis found it hilarious how well she could dance, but she never danced too often. Leena kept playing with her dress, and planned on dumping punch on herself just to piss off Electra. It probably would piss her off. Xyleena smiled at the thought of making her mad. She was good at pissing Electra off, and all of the other Aphrodite campers. Soon they arrived at the school. It was ******** huge. "I have not been to a school in over two thousand years. They have grown." They hardly let Leena in school back then, but she managed to get in and out of school disguised as a boy. Even then she was mischievous.

When they entered the school, they where caught by a few teachers. Leena just sighed and snapped her red, long finger nails that where as hard as steel together. "What are you talking about? We go to this school. We where just headed to the dance; our parents held us up." Leena pouted like she meant it. The teachers looked confused -- the mist had that effect -- then allowed them to pass. Leena smiled and walked into the dance. She watched as they paired off and the teenage females dance with the teenage males. She laughed at them, they did not understand what "dance" was. Dancing was not grinding or doing those odd tricks. Xyleena's definition of dance was completely opposite. Directing her attention to a handsome boy that was standing in front of her, she raised her eyebrows and looked at him up and down. What did this male want? "And I may help you, how?" Leena asked slowly.

Ah, Penelope. Of course, when she walked slowly towards him, he thought he would have gotten lucky. It wasn't until she punched him that he realized how wrong he was. "Ow!" He cursed, rubbing her arm. It really had ******** hurt. Just to piss her off, once they got into the limo he sat right next to her. He tried to sit as close to her as possible, but she still managed to make some space in between them. Damn. Who knew how long she had been alive and learned that trick. When they arrived at the school, Leo quickly jumped out of the limo. Soon, they where entering the school when they where suddenly stopped by a couple of mortal teachers. Leonidas rolled his eyes and was about to charm them before Leena used the mist on them. Leo smiled, then nodded as they headed towards the gym. The music was loud and annoying just from outside. Once they got inside, it was even worst.

Leo hung around with Alek and Phia. He knew Penelope would completely avoid him. He had already tried hanging out with her, but she kept managing to get away from him. When a slower song came on and everyone was pairing off, Leonidas quickly found Penny. He motioned towards the dance floor with his head. "C'mon let's dance. Only the losers don't have dance partners." Leo shrugged, hoping she would say yes. If she didn't he had a few more tricks up his sleeves. He would tell her she looked beautiful, but that would just raise her chances of rejecting him. Leo held out his hand and tried to put on a non-cocky smile, which was a lot harder than he thought. Hey, at least the thought counts.

Delia stood there and waited for everyone to stop complimenting each other and just get in the damn limo. She could be a little impatient, especially when she was in a dress. Finally Delphia got in the limo, followed by Alek, and then Delia got in. She wasn't too pleased to be squished between Alek, and Simeon, and would have much rather been close to her sister, but now wasn't the time to explain. Especially when she had to worry about Simeon, being right next to her. Then Leo, Penny and Leena climbed in. Argus closed the door behind them, and soon the limo got moving. Del was scared, and nervous. She had never been to a formal at any of her a Phia's schools. They had all been kicked out before they could attend. Not that she would have ever attended, unless it was mandatory.

So now Delia sat in between two guys, and watched out the window as the the farm went out of sight, and the city came into view. She began to fidget with her dress. It was awkward for her being "all dolled up". Delia was much more comfortable in jeans, a tank top and a sweatshirt. Her hair was nice, everything about her looked beautiful. Those Aphrodite girls sure knew their way around a tom boy. Soon they were there, Argus opened the door for them and they all piled out of the limo. Argus waved, and got back in the limo. Delia wondered what Argus looked like to the mortals, seeing how to demi-gods, he had a thousand eyes. The school was huge. It was like her and Phia's old school only slightly larger. Del hadn't quite figured out how to walk in high heels. She stumbled a little but Simeon caught her. Blushing, she regained her balance and walked into the school. It was like nothing was going their way right now. Because if Delia had her way they wouldn't need this silly girl and this stupid school. They were stopped by two teachers.

They had nothing to worry about, however, because Leena took care of it. The hunter, snapped her fingers said something to the teachers, and they made their way into the gym. Delia was taking in everything. The bass was pumping extremely loud. She cringed at the way the kids were dancing here. Then the song turned slower, and people started pairing off together. All of a sudden Delia was brought out of her thoughts, and looked up at him. Simeon wasn't much taller than her, but just by a few inches. Pondering his question, Delia shrugged. It couldn't hurt could it? "Sure, why not?" She replied. Delia took his hand, and led him to the dance floor. She then started thinking about how she and Phia used to dance with each other, taking turns being the guy.

Alek smiled when Phia complimented him. It made him feel good inside. Then once all the compliments were over, and Penny had punched, and successfully hurt Leo, they all piled into the car. Alek walked in right after Phia. Soon everyone was inside, and Argus pulled away. They started walking up to the big school. It was bigger than any of the schools he had ever been too. Alek whistled at how big it actually was. The entry hall was just as big. They didn't get very far into the school before they were stopped by a couple teachers. Before anyone could do anything, Leena snapped her fingers and said that they were students here and had been held up by their parents. They then moved on to the gym.

Alek could feel the bass pumping, and when he entered the school he was shocked at how many kids there were in the building. Once in the gym Phia kept close to him. And Alek smiled at that. He was planning on asking her for a dance, hopefully before they all found that girl, or a monster attacked. That was one of his concerns. Having six demi-gods and whatever Penny was all in one place was not a good thing. Alek wondered what Penny was. Leena had been a demi-god before she was a hunter, but who's daughter was she? Well who cares about that. He didn't have to worry about that tonight. The song ended and a new one started. This one was a lot slower than the first one. Alek smiled down at Phia. He outstretched his hand to her. "Would you like to dance with me?" He asked, politely.

Penny was very pleased that she had actually hurt Leo. With his muscles as big as they are, she hurt herself too in the process. They piled in to the car. She went in before Leena, so the other girl didn't have to sit next to any boy. Which was bad for her, because she got stuck being in close proximity with Leo. The sun was just on her side. He kept scooting closer and closer to her, and Penny kept scooting further and further away from him. All she could do was smile at that. Penny had perfected that technique a few centuries ago. As she watched the camp fade away, and the city come in to view, Penny couldn't help but play with the blue fringe on her dress. She thought this dress was way more revealing than she had wanted. It was almost like Electra wanted to "de-virginize" her. It didn't take them long before the limo stopped. Getting out, they all took the view of the school in.

Penny got out of the limo, very aware of Leo staring at her backside. She had been born in the time of ancient Greece, so she had never gone to a public school she had been taught by a tutor. But that was a past that she did not speak of, and tried not to think about, as well. As they entered the building they were stopped by two teachers. She nodded to Leena, who had learned how to manipulate the mist. It was not something she could do, but Penny had other things she could do, gifts from her father... another thing she didn't like to speak or think about. It only took a minute to be allowed into the gym. There Penny tried to avoid Leo at all costs. She couldn't understand the awkward gyrating movements these kids displayed. So far she was doing a pretty good job of not being anywhere near Leo. But just as she thought about that, the song ended, a slower song started, and Leo showed up out of nowhere. He then said that only losers don't have a partner, and outstretched his hand for a dance. "Does that make me a loser then?" She asked. Penny did have to admit that she would like to dance at least once tonight, and she guessed it would be better with Leo then with no one at all. "Fine, but I'm leading." She said stubbornly, as she grabbed his hand, and led him to the floor.

Shelly watched as a huge group of students came in to the gym. He didn't really like the fast song that was playing now. But Adrienne had, and some guy asked her to dance. The girl didn't need his permission, but she had asked him if he would be by himself. Shelly had nodded, and looked as these new students filed around the room. It seemed like they were all looking for something. Or someone. Shelly looked at all the girls in this party. The girls were all beautiful, and tall. But there was one in particular who had caught his eye. She had long dark black hair, and was wearing a very revealing, yet elegant red dress. The girl was so beautiful, and Shelly's heart was doing flips just looking at her. His palms were beginning to sweat. He wanted to ask her to dance with him, but he was so nervous. Shelly knew she was out of his league and if he asked, she would reject him.

But Adrienne would tell him to go for it. So he straightened himself out. And took a look at his suit. Shelly fixed that too, plus the red rose in his tux. Then he started walking over to the girl. She didn't seem to be paying any attention to him, and that was fine... for now. The song ended and the next one was a slower song. That was perfect for Shelly. Then she turned towards him, and Shelly became lost in her electric green eyes. Her speech was a little weird, and she asked if she could help him. "Actually yes, I think you can help me." He said and smiled. His dark eyes dancing with excitement. He outstretched his hand, and bowed chivalrously. "Would you like to dance with me?" He asked politely looking up into her face.
