delia montgomery vs alek consella
the electrifying & tough twin daughter of zeus
teamed up with the brave & water-proof son of poseidon

Delia was starting to get really agitated with everyone in the room, except her sister. Her sister seemed to be the only sane one here. Delia didn't want to look at Simeon, he reminded her too much of Jace. And that was something she really didn't want to think about. Not ever... But Delia had to remind herself that she wouldn't wish what had happened on Delphia, or anyone else for that matter. She was strong, but Delphia was a little bit more fragile than she was. Delphia began to fire questions at Simeon and Alek. Like the Big Three, and Demi-gods, and who Alek and Simeon's parents were. Then Delphia moved on to why the big three were so powerful, and the difference between the "Big Three" and the other gods. Delphia was speaking it was almost hard for her to keep track of what her sister was saying. Delia was smart, but she wasn't as super smart as Phia, and nor did it seem she was as smart as Simeon either.

It seemed Delia was too nervous for her own good. She didn't totally realize she had been pacing until her sister grabbed her right shoulder and told her she needed to calm down a little. "You're right Phia." She said. Delia sat next to her sister, and then tried not to look at Simeon. Even though he was speaking to her. He told her that she and Delphia were lucky that he had touched her. Del scoffed, yeah right. Lucky her a**. But then he said that the two fit in perfectly. Delia found that a little hard to believe. She did find curiosity getting the better of her, as she listened to him speak about being the son of an engineer and the son of Athena. Delia wondered what it was like to have a god for a parent. She wouldn't know, seeing how her mother was -- what would they call it?-- mortals, and their father -- well he must obviously be a god then.

She sighed, and then Delia put her fingers on her temples, and began rubbing them. This was too hard for her. Neither she, nor Delphia should have to go through this. They were just seventeen, still kids. It didn't make sense to her. But she listened as Alek explained that the Big Three were Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades. And that they were more powerful than the rest of the gods. Then Simeon left, and Delia felt a little better. But he was soon back, and she began to worry again. Delia looked at him as he set the clothes down. "Thanks. So what do you all do at this Camp?" She asked.

Alek thought it was funny that Delphia kept firing off questions. But he was just glad that she had calmed Delia down. Alek didn't want Delia bursting into flames or bringing something down on them all. Then he began to explain to both of the girls the answers to their questions. Alek though Delphia looked cute when she was thinking. She seemed very intelligent and that was something he looked for in a girl. But was it too soon to be thinking about that. She just got here, and he wouldn't be surprised if Lucas or one of the Aphrodite boys started hitting on her. But whatever. "The big three are Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades. My father is Poseidon, my mother is a lawyer. The Big Three are more powerful than the rest of the gods. And I'm sorry to say, but both of you, and I are mistakes." He said taking a breath.

Alek knew that as soon as he said the last part, that Delia might hurt him, and Delphia would be offended. "I don't mean to offend you. But after World War II, The Big Three made a pact that they wouldn't sire any more demi-gods. But Zeus broke his promise, as did my father. But we don't know right now who your father is." Alek hoped he was making some sense to these girls. But he wasn't sure if he should go on explaining things or whether he should stop and clarify some things if they needed him too. Alek sighed. "Is this making any sense to you guys?" He asked. Then Simeon went out to get the girls some clothes. That didn't leave him much time to be by himself with the girls. But that was ok. He was tired, and starting to become sore. Alek was slightly offended that Simeon had asked him if he could handle being alone with them. But just brushed the comment away.

"You both are really lucky. Having two Hellhounds on your tails like that. The more powerful the demi-god is, the stronger their scent is. And is this case, seeing as how there are two of you, you guys must emit some crazy scent. It was hard for me to get here too. But well worth it." He replied. Than Simeon came back and set a bunch of clothes down in front of the girls. Alek wondered where the girls were going to change. There was a bathroom here, but it was pretty small. Then Delia asked what they did here at the camp, which made Alek laugh. Seeing as how Simeon was here and heard the question, he figured he'd let Simeon answer this one. Closing his green eyes, Alek sighed contentedly. He really just wanted to sleep.

Delphia felt realized that she had managed to calm her sister down. She didn't have to worry about one more thing. Alek began answering her questions, like she expected, and it helped a lot more. The Big Three where basically the three brothers: Zeus, Poseidon and Hades. What shocked her was when he had called them "mistakes". Phia had always felt that her mother wasn't prepared to give birth to two twin girls who would be chased by monsters. "I think I understand. If your father is Poseidon, that means you have a stronger... uh, scent? Does it come with some type of packaged deal? Since you're the son of the Sea God, what does that mean? You can play with water?" Delphia asked some more questions, finding it pretty interesting. She tried to pay no attention to the "mistakes" comment, but it was true. "Since Athena is the Goddess of Wisdom, is that why he is such a smart-a**?" Delphia whispered, referring to Simeon. He had that whole thing about him. The way he walked and the way he talked and fought. He acted like he knew what he was doing and knew he could outsmart someone. No wonder Delia didn't like him at all.

The thought of WWII surprised her. She didn't think anything much about it until now. "Was Hitler a demigod?" Delphia asked, thinking about it. What was WWII really about then? Was it actually a battle between the gods children? She thought she had known as much as she could, but it seemed like their was another wall to tear down of knowledge. "Was World War I the same?" Delphia asked yet another question. "Yes," Delphia responded. It started to hit her in the face. Soon, Simeon got up and left, saying that he was going to go get someone to steal some clothes. That sounded reassuring. Watching his leave, Delia seemed to lighten up, like he wasn't pounding her with a hammer anymore. "We where chased all the way to New York from New Jersey. By all kinds of things. I couldn't even put a name on most of them, but Sander had a name for them. Even when we where small..." Delphia stopped herself from introducing more memories she didn't want to confront right now. Memories that involved her mother, and monsters that used to keep her up with nightmares of voices and darkness. Pretty soon, Simeon came back with four shirts and two pairs of shorts.

                        "Where will we be staying?"

Simeon was tempted to sit down next to Delia, but he figured it wouldn't be too safe. If their father was actually who he thought it was, he was deeply regret it. Instead, he leaned against the wall with his arms crossed. When he had left, he changed out of his armor and wore his damp blue jeans and his orange Camp Half-Blood t-shirt. He never really liked the color orange, especially on him. "The demigods here all reflect abilities of their parents. Like, the Hephaestus kids could build anything. The Aphrodite kids are drop dead gorgeous and conceited, and the Demeter kids could grow anything. Athena children are witty and intelligent, while the Poseidon kids can control water and are stronger when around water. Apollo kids have really accurate aim, and the Hermes kids could steal just about anything. The Aries kids are just plain ugly and strong, while the Dionysus kids... Well, they're just like Mr. D." It was an explanation mainly directed towards to Delia. He wanted her to know what he thought she was. "Kids from the Big Three are normally more powerful and cause greater destruction. Since Hades is the God of the Underworld, we figured his kids could summon or control death," Simeon continued on, hoping she understood what he was saying. "Zeus controls the sky and creates thunder and lightning storms. Since you shocked me, and the two of you have a crazy scent, well..." He spoke slowly, hoping they understood.

Scratching the back of his head, he waited for a response. He didn't know where they would be staying, especially with Zeus' cabin being sacred and all. If anything, Mr. D would stick them in the Hermes cabin and confront Zeus himself. If the girls are extract lucky, their father would claim them. Maybe his guess was wrong, maybe they just gave off this crazy scent because the two of them where twins. Maybe their mom or dad was Apollo or Hermes. Even though they didn't have the same features as the Hermes weirdos. "But you two could also be daughters of Hermes or Apollo. Nothing too big," Simeon was going with his first impression, but this was always an option. "We'll find out soon enough with Mr. D and Chiron debate on what's going to happen. Right now, we should probably wait until Chiron gives us notice on what to do." Simeon said, looking at everybody inside of the room. "Would you like to see a tour of the camp?" Simeon asked, standing up straight. He almost held out his hand to help Delia up, but chances are she would just shock him again.

Delia listened to the story that Alek told. About how they were mistakes. She didn't take too kindly to being called a mistake, and Del figured Phia didn't either. As much as she wanted to listen to Alek talk about the big three and such, Delia found herself not being able to pay too much attention. Her mind was elsewhere. Mainly on Jace and Simeon. The similarities were so scary. But there were slight differences there too. Simeon had a much softer side, and didn't look so angry. But he still scared her. Delia had always felt guilty and ashamed for the things she had done with Jace. But she also felt that she was right in the things she had done with him. Delia had been protecting Phia. And that's what really mattered.

Then Simeon cam back and looked like he was debating something -- maybe about her -- but thought better of it. Delia scowled as he leaned against the wall. He irked her, but was attractive at the same time. She noticed he had changed his clothes. Simeon didn't really look good in orange, but neither did she. She wondered if anyone looked good in orange. Maybe the Aphrodite kids he was talking about. "So you think that we are daughters of Zeus, but you, and everyone here, hope that that's not the case, seeing as how Zeus broke the pact thing?" She asked, trying to wrap her head around what Simeon was saying. Delia wondered whether or not she wanted to be a daughter of Zeus or someone else. Then Simeon asked if they wanted to take a tour of the camp. Delia brightened up a little.

Delia had always felt trapped at their private schools and such, and she had always liked camping and being outside. There she felt free. Delia yawned she was tired and sore, and she just needed to sleep, and maybe a shower. A shower would be nice. Delia noticed that as Simeon straightened up, he almost stretched his hand out to help her. That would have been an awful mistake on his part. He would have pulled back a bloody stump. Delia was independent and could take care of herself, and Phia. She didn't need anyone's help, or sympathy. "I guess a tour couldn't hurt." She said, trying to be at least civil to these people.

Alek sat there and listened as Phia asked him questions. He could see her bristle at the mistake comment, and knew he had dug himself into a slight hole. Alek wondered if he would be able to make it up to her. He laughed when Delphia asked him if he could play with water, seeing how he was the son of the sea god. "I can will the water to do whatever I want with it, but I have to be careful. I don't want to be causing tidal waves and destroying cities and such." He said, amusement filled his voice. Phia was asking questions a mile a minute it was hard to keep track of all of her questions.

There was something about Hitler being a demi-god, and world war I, then something about Simeon. Alek laughed at that part. "That's partly why Simeon's is such a smart-a**. There's a name for every monster in existence, there's Medusa, the Nimean Lion, you name it, it's there. But the monsters can't get into Camp Half-Blood, unless they are summoned here by someone in the boundaries, but that rarely ever happens." He said. Then Simeon began to speak and tried to tell the girls that they were either daughters of Zeus, or maybe Apollo or Hermes. Alek secretly hoped that the girls were daughters of Zeus and that he wouldn't be alone, and someone else would be there for everyone to look up to and not just him. It was hard being a son or daughter of one of the big three. "Come on, you'll like what Camp Half-Blood has to offer." He said.

Delphia was beginning to understand. She gave Alek this look when he said that he had to be careful to not to destroy buildings and such. She made a mental note not to piss him off later in life. "So, Tsunamis and Tidal waves are Poseidon? I mean, he causes them? And earthquakes? Can you do that?" Phia asked, her curiosity consuming her. She thought about all of the different monsters, and the ones she had encountered. She had encountered enough as it was, she couldn't imagine the monsters lurking around outside of camp. Those few where enough, she couldn't imagine being attacked by as many as there where out there.

Soon, Simeon came back and began to explain everything. How the different campers have different powers due to their parents and have different traits. She looked over at her sister when she asked her question about being daughters of Zeus. Delphia couldn't imagine being a daughter of the god of gods. Who knew what that would feel like? "And Poseidon and Hades was apart of this pact too?" Phia asked, looking at Alek. "So your father broke the pack by messing around with some human?" Delphia asked, quickly getting the hang of things. Now that understood most of it, it was pretty easy to understand.

Then, Simeon mentioned a tour. She perked up, thinking of a tour around camp. "A tour sounds... interesting." Delpia tried to think of the right word to say. When they left the Big House, Simeon began going crazy with explanations. They first passed by Chiron and the other man, who were speaking in what sounded like ancient Latin. She raised her eyebrows. When they where walking towards what looked like a bunch of assorted cabins, she looked behind her at Alek who was walking behind her. Simeon began explaining the different cabins and who lived there. Occasionally, she would see the curtains move in one of the cabins or someone poking their head out of the door. They all looked different, the cabins and the campers that she saw.

The different cabins struck her as different things. What Simeon explained to be Zeus and Hera's cabins where both made out of solid white marble. The Poseidon cabin looked like it was meant for Alek. The cabin looked like it was built around Alek, or as if he had wanted it to look like that. The cabin that surprised her the most was the Aries cabin. On top, was an ugly boards head. The whole time Simeon spoke, she sort of blocked him out. Her mind was elsewhere.

The look on Delia's face when he held out his hand had one meaning to it: Danger, back off. He made a mental note not to do anything to piss her off. If she was a daughter of Zeus.... There was something about her that made her look uncomfortable when she was around him. Like something or someone had done something in the past. The chances of that where unlikely, and like she would ever tell him. "We can start with the cabins of the different gods and goddesses while Mr. D and Chiron debate where you will be staying tonight." Simeon said, straightening his back.

This time, Simeon understood a few words that Chiron and Mr. D where saying. As he walked by, Mr. D glared at him and Chiron gaze a small grin. He heard the words Hermes and claimed. That was enough for him to grasp the idea behind it. The girls were going to get stuck in the Hermes cabin until they where claimed by their father/mother. If their father really was Zeus, chances where they weren't even going to get claimed. The gods did not like embarrassment, especially Zeus. He felt a sudden pity for the girls as they walked in the dark towards the twelve different cabins shaped in a U.

"That's my cabin right there," Simeon pointed to the cabin with the owl. His brothers and sisters where peeking through the curtains, trying to find out what was going on. "That is Zeus and Hera's cabin," he pointed to the two cabins made fully of marble with bronze doors. Simeon pointed to Poseidon's cabin, "that's where Alek lives." Pointing to Apollo and Demeter's cabin, he said, "the gold one is Apollo's. It's hard to look at in the sun and the one with the grass and tomato vines is Demeter's." There where so many cabins to explain, and not enough time. Finally, he pointed at what looked like the oldest and most beat down cabin. "That's Hermes. It's most likely where the two of you will be staying."

Delia listened as Alek explained certain things and her sister asked him certain questions. But she wasn't really focused on that. Delia was more focused on whether or not she wanted to be claimed. If her father, and Delphia's, was in fact Zeus, would that cause more problems in their world, not to mention his. Then they started to walk, and went past Chiron, and some other guy, she didn't know. They were talking in some other language -- that Delia didn't understand -- but again, Delia wasn't totally paying attention. They walked past numerous cabins and Simeon was droning on and on about something. Pointing out all the cabins. She was taking everything in, but it didn't seem to be registering for her.

Then he said that this was his cabin, and that was Alek's and Zeus and Hera's cabin. Zeus and Hera's cabins looked empty. "Those two are empty. Why?" She asked, trying to grasp everything Simeon was trying to tell them. A lock of her hair fell in her face and she pushed it away. Delia looked out and saw that there were campers looking out of their cabins at them. She raised her eyebrow at the people she was with. "Is it normal for the campers to do this?" She asked. Delia knew that she would do that if she lived in a place like this. Hell she was going to be living here full time. That put Delia's mind at ease a little. She would be able to live here with Delphia in peace. Unless Simeon made it harder for her. Delia smacked her lips together, she was a little bored, and she would really like to go and get some sleep.

It wad getting darker outside, and Simeon was in the shadows. Delia shuddered, not because of cold, although she was a little cold. But because looking at him this way, Simeon reminded her of Jace in this light. Memories came flooding back to her. She tried to shake the memories away. Delia had always been pretty good at suppressing bad memories. That's what made her so strong. Delia was nervous and she rarely ever got nervous. But Simeon was the cause, and she got the feeling he was going to cause more problems with her. But Delia also felt that Simeon was going to want to prove to her he wasn't bad. She yawned and her eyes were starting to get droopy. Delia started to lean against her sister. She was tired and it had been a long couple of days. It wasn't everyday that you get told you're a demi-god by a satyr and go on the run for some camp.

Alek listened as Delphia asked him another question. More about water-type incidents. "Yeah my father causes alot of those things from his realm under the sea. I can't do things like that to that degree, but smaller versions of those." Alek said, hoping that he was making sense to Delphia. But she was smart, so he felt that it was making some sense in her brain. Then Alek started to think of Percy Jackson and how he had created a massive explosion on Mt. St. Helens (I believe thats where he did it), which caused the kid to get stranded on Calypso's island. Alek shook his head, because he needed to tune back in to the conversation. That was his ADHD kicking in.

Alek listened as Simeon was explaining things to both girls. He smiled when Simeon tried to explain the part about Zeus being their father, lightly. How could you tell someone like Delia and Delphia, something like that. It was a shock to them that they were demi-gods. Alek tried to think of how he had been when he had first gotten here. He was a fourteen year old gangly kid, with no training what-so-ever. But he soon made his way in this camp, and his father had claimed him. Which helped. But it had also hurt. Now everyone always looked to him to lead them, like he was their leader. Maybe if these girls were daughters of Zeus, they would take some of the responsibility off of him. But then he got a little angry at Delphia. She asked him about Hades and his father, being apart of the pact. But what angered him, was more so the question that his father had played around with a mortal girl. Alek sighed, she didn't know she had offended him, she was new to all of this.

"My father didn't play around with my mother, he loved her. He was there with her for a while, and she was one of his favorites. He still checks in on her from time to time." Then good ole Simeon. He suggested a tour. Alek perked up at that thought. He was restless and needed to be out and about. They passed by as Chiron and Mr. D were talking in ancient Greek. He could catch a few words, he was a little rusty. He heard the words Hermes and Claimed, but he also heard, summons to Mount Olympus. He wanted to know who had been summoned to Mount Olympus. Had it been Mr. D, or Chiron. But he went on with the tour. They came to his cabin, and Phia seemed to be in awe of it. But she didn't seem to like the Ares' cabin, but no one other than Ares kids, liked that cabin. At the end of the tour, Delia seemed to get a little sleepy. Alek looked to Simeon. "Should we take them to the Hermes cabin?" He asked.

delphia, simeon, xyleena, leonidas
the intelligent daughter of zeus and the witty son of athena.
questing with the determined artemis hunter and the arrogant son of ares.

The past two weeks had gone by so fast. In a blink of an eye, it was over. Delphia hated the Hermes cabin, Lucas was always trying to hit on her or Delia. Which, it turns out, he just wanted their pants. Literally. He kept trying to sneak them away, like some creepy teenager. She learned not to trust any of the undetermined kids or even the Hermes cabin. Like always, she forgot that Hermes was also the God of Thieves. Delphia wasn't good in many of the activities, or even barely good at it. Delia was pretty good at most of them, but she didn't like canoeing as much as Delphia didn't like it. In the end, the only thing she was decent at was sword fighting and archery. On the wall, her muscles weren't developed enough to make it. She would always fall, but would be caught before she could land in the lava. When canoeing, she was uncomfortable in the water and she couldn't swim very well. During sword fighting, Lucas would always beat her. He was pretty good at stealing her sword from her. During archery, she hit the bag, but never in the center. When it came to wrestling, she didn't even try.

Whenever she turned around, Alek was there. At first, she found it creepy and tried to stay away from him, but she began to admire it. He was so chivalrous, trying to help her out and everything. Instead of constantly going to Delia for help -- which she felt bad about every now and then -- she went to Alek for help. He was always glad to help her out. During breakfast, lunch or dinner, she always gave a piece of offering to one of the gods. She just offered it to her favorite, Zeus. Phia hated sitting at the crowded table. She hardly had any room to eat, and sometimes just ended up eating next to the table. It was loud and crazy at the table, like a mini party with thirty half-bloods. It was kind of like elementary school; Lucas was the teacher for a bunch of kindergartners. Before every meal or every activity, he would stand at the front and yell "Hermes Cabin, fall in!" really loud. It took about five minutes to get situated before they all left the cabin. At this rate, she thought she would be stuck in the Hermes cabin for the rest of her life.

Now, they where all getting ready for a sing along campfire. They had these about every other night, just for fun. On Fridays, they played Capture The Flag, which she wasn't too good at either. Delphia now sat in between Alek and Delia. Delia sat next to Simeon who sat next to Leo, who sat next to some Apollo kids that where strumming guitars and singing with the most beautiful voices she had ever heard. The fire ranged like crazy, about fifteen feet in the air and changing different colors. Mr. D leaned on a tree trunk, snoring loudly and Chiron was clapping his hands and singing along. That was before they showed up. Coming down the field was a group full of tall, females all ranging from the ages twelve to nineteen. They all looked different, but all looked the same. They where armed with silver bows and silver arrows, some had long swords tucked into their sheaves. "I thought mortals couldn't pass the borders or the dragon?" Delphia whispered to Alek, but there was nothing mortal about these females. They where quick and all had stern faces. They looked like the type of girls Delphia didn't want to associate with. One looked so much like Alek, she could have sworn they where twins. The other had a heart shaped face, and she looked like she was here to do her job.

Simeon still couldn't figure out what was wrong with Delia. After the two weeks had passed, she acted like she didn't want anything to do with him. She didn't even let him talk to her, so she just simply ignored him. Simeon constantly tried to help her with the different activities, but she just blew him off. Never before had that happened to him before, mostly because most of the girls he associated with where all over him. Take Adrienne for example. She was the complete opposite of Delia. Oddly enough, she always knew what he was doing. If he pulled out a sword, Adrienne would gasp like she could see through the mist. Sometimes, it was as if she could see through the mist more than he could. Which got pretty annoying after awhile. Delia was nothing like her; she didn't talk to him about anything. If anything, he got a glare or a scowl from her, but that was about it. She wouldn't talk to him during Capture the Flag, or sit next to him at campfires. What had he done wrong?

The campfire had been going great. Simeon was singing along and clapping with the Apollo kids, and he had finally snuck a seat next to Delia. She didn't look too happy about it, but she would live. Pretty soon, it had been ruined. The Apollo kids grew quiet, which was surprising, and the fire died down immediately. Simeon turned around to see what the issue was, when he saw them. The Artemis hunters. Rage raged inside of him as he remembered all of the s**t that Leena and Penny had put him through. Starting with when he first got to the camp. They always showed him up and recruited female campers that he was friends with. He had no clue how old either of them where, or who their parents where, but they hadn't aged a day since he first saw the two girls. "What the [********] are you doing here?! You aren't allowed! Leave!" Simeon shouted at the group of girls. It was mainly directed towards Xyleena and Penelope, but he didn't want any of the other hunters staying their either.

Simeon was sure his face was bright red. The fire grew with the campers excitement from the Hunters, and Simeon's reaction to them. "Leave! Out of camp! You cause enough problems when you aren't here! You aren't going to recruit any more half-bloods!" Simeon jabbed a finger in Penelope's pressure point. The one on your collar bone. The other girl, Xyleena, pushed on his forehead, making him move backwards. This move really pissed him off. He couldn't stand Leena or Penny, and he didn't want them touching him either. He put his hands in fist, ready to punch Leena in the face for touching him. Just as he swung his arm back, someone grabbed it. That someone just so happened to be Leo. "If you want a fight... then I'm with you bro," Leo said, glaring at the girls. He wasn't much of a fan of the girls either. The Son of the God of War would want a fight. He would want a fight any day.

Leena hated Camp Half-Blood. She couldn't stand the bright orange shirts or the male campers. She couldn't stand Simeon or Leo. She was okay with Alek, but she couldn't stand the fact that he was her brother. He didn't know about the relation, which was a good thing on her part. As they crossed the borders of Camp Half-Blood, the dragon didn't even give them a second glance. She simply stroked his head before crossing the borders, and making her way down the hill. Her sword was tucked in it's sheave and her silver bow was crossing her chest, and her arrows where in their basket which was made of leather. Leena wore something more modern than what she was used to. She wore a pair of dark jeans, that where ripped in the knees and at the bottom where she had been dragging them. She wore a white top that flowed in the wind, with a leather necklace tied around her neck. Her long black, wavy hair flowed behind her and she wore a pair of leather flip flops.

It didn't take long for the Half-bloods to realize their presence. And as soon as they did, all hell broke loose. "Penelope, would you please tell me why we are here? We have enough recruits." Leena said, bracing herself for Simeon. Pretty soon, the boy jumped up and began yelling at the girls. Rolling her powerful sea green eyes, she waited for him to approach. First, he stabbed his finger into Penny's pressure point, which was a classic move. Xyleena pushed the boy away using his pointer and middle finger. "Back down, Son of Athena. We have every right to be here as much as you. I am a half-blood, such as you and everyone else. We are here to recruit." Simeon didn't look too happy to be touched, and pretty soon the son of Ares showed up, looking as pissed as Simeon did. A fight would break out, and campers would be killed. Leena would try to stop the fight before it could happen, but it didn't look like the would happen.

Adverting her eyes away from the two boys, she focused on a set of twins. She had never seen twins at Camp Half-Blood before, and the two radiated energy. "Who are the parents of the powerful twins? One is stronger than the other." Leena asked Simeon, who was just about to throw a punch. Xyleena eyed Leonidas up and down, remembering when he was fourteen. He had tried to hit on Penny, which caused her to beat the s**t out of him before Lady Artemis turned him into a rat. Leena chuckled at the idea of the Ares' son being turned into a rat once more. "Control your anger, Son of Ares. I suppose you don't want to be turned into a rat once more, yes?" When Leena spoke, her accent dripped in her words. She was born in Brazil; old habits die hard. For thousands of years she couldn't rid herself of her accent, but it reminds her of where she was from. It doesn't let her forget herself, but who could forget ones childhood when it was like hers?

The campfire had been great, until y'know, the hunters of Tartarus showed up. Leo could hardly control his anger, much less could Simeon. Even though the girls where beyond gorgeous -- and let's face it, he had a thing for Penelope -- he still couldn't stand them. He had been turned to a rat when he was fourteen after having the s**t beat out of him by Penelope. Lucky for him, Chiron persuaded Artemis to turn him back to normal, as long as he vowed never to associate with her hunters again. He was tempted, but he knew much better than that. Simeon immediately got up and started yelling at the beautiful hunters, which provoked the Son or Ares to do the same. He wasn't a peaceful person, he loved getting into fights with other people. Leonidas wasn't too comfortable with fighting girls, but they weren't considered girls, right? Or where they? No. Wait, yes. Wait. What?

"You don't need any more recruits. You have like a dozen of them!" Leonidas thought about girlfriends and sisters they had recruited. "You've stolen our best heroes, sisters and friends. No more!" Leo could imagine girls like his sisters and girls from the Apollo cabin being recruited. He couldn't stand his sisters from time to time, but they where his sisters and he... loved them. Then, Leena asked about powerful twins. The only twins at camp where Delia and Delphia. "Who knows? They're undetermined." Leonidas growled, crossing his arms. No way where they even taking one of the twins or someone else from the Hermes cabin, even if they where undetermined. They didn't care much for the Aphrodite or Demeter kids. They weren't big and tough like all of the other campers. Let alone did anyone really care about them. Except for Electra. She was cute.

Leo had the same feeling he had every time a fight was about to break out. In the back of his gut, he prepared himself to fight the girls. Even though he wasn't suppose to hit a girl. If all hell broke loose, Chiron would probably stop the fight. It looked like the old horse was getting to his hooves now. Dionysus was awake, with a big smile on his face. "Why do we have stupid campfires instead of fights?" Mr. D asked, like it was the easiest question in the world.

delia, alek, penelope, sheldon
the strong daughter of zeus and the bold son of poseidon.
questing with the crafty artemis lieutenant and the optimistic mortal.

Two weeks had gone by. Two long and dreadful weeks. Delia and Delphia had been stuck in the Hermes Cabin, which was overcrowded and filled with tons of kids who stole everything and anything they could get their hands on. Plus they hadn't been claimed yet. Delia was so frustrated. She wanted to be claimed, and to be accepted so badly. Delia just wanted to be rid of the Hermes Cabin and all the crowds in the cabin. She quickly caught on to everything that went on in the camp. She was satisfactory at all the activities. She excelled in swordplay. But she was absolutely horrible at everything else. She liked climbing the lava wall. That was challenging. But Delia felt bad that Phia wasn't strong enough to do it. The meals were fabulous here at Camp. They rivaled their mothers home-made cooking. They always had a ritual in which they would scrape off a portion of their meal as a sacrifice to the gods. But Delia never knew who to pray to. So she prayed to all of them in hopes that one would claim her and her sister. But that hadn't happened, and at the rate they were going, she felt like they were going to be one of the hopeless undetermined kids.

For the past two weeks after she had gotten here, she had tried to avoid Simeon as much as possible. She knew that it wasn't fair to him. That it wasn't his fault what had happened to her earlier in her life. But Simeon wanted to know about her, and she wasn't ready for him to know that. Plus if he wanted her, he was going to have to try alot harder than that to win her over. Delia was now at the camp fire between her sister and Simeon. Simeon had wormed his way in to sit next to her. And Leo sat next to him. Delia thought that Leo was nice, but he was always itching for a fight, being the Son of Ares, and all. The Apollo kids were singing by the fire, and it was peaceful. Everything was ok. And Delia had to admit, with the proximity of Simeon, he was keeping her warm, even if the fire was doing that enough for both of them. Her eyes were becoming droopy. But that quickly changed.

Over across the field there was a huge group of girls making their way towards them. Delia didn't know who they were, but they seemed to have a silvery glow about them, and they had arrows and bows, and were extremely tall. It didn't take long for Simeon to realize the girls were here. Delia was just about to ask him about the girls, the most words she would ever have said to him, since she had gotten here. But Simeon's rage took over, and he stood up, and he started yelling at these girls. Saying that they didn't belong here. She found it amazing when Leo stood up and started to back Simeon up. She didn't think that was a smart idea. The girls looked like they could take everyone of these boys down. Then the black haired female began to speak saying that they were here for more recruits, and both Simeon and Leo looked like they were about to pummel the girls. Delia was surprised that the black haired female spoke so weirdly. She definitely wasn't from around here. "Who are you people, and what do you want?" Delia asked, balling one hand into a fist, and putting her other free hand on the hilt of her sword. She was ready to defend this place from whoever these girls were.

Alek had been enjoying the last two weeks here at camp. It was almost as good as when he first came here to camp. He was always there to help Delphia when she needed it. Alek could tell that both girls didn't like the fact that they were stuck in Hermes Cabin, and hadn't been claimed yet. But it had taken a while for himself to be claimed and now he was all by himself in a cabin. He had Reggie around some summers, but not all year round. So it got quite lonely at times. Reggie was his half-brother, and a cyclops. Alek hadn't always liked the fact that he had had a brother, but once he really got to know Reggie, after dad had claimed both of them, he discovered Reggie wasn't too bad. And the big guy was GREAT at building swords or shields. Alek was glad to help Delphia. And he had to admit he was starting to get smitten with her. Alek had always been flocked by girls, but Phia was different. She was intelligent, and actually wanted to know everything about Alek and camp. But then there was the problem with Marcus.

Marcus was an Aphrodite boy, and was so cocky and full of himself. And he wanted Phia all for himself. Which wasn't going to happen. Delia had wanted to take care of it herself, but Alek had talked to Marcus himself. And Marcus had promised not to touch one finger on Phia. Which was a win-win situation for both himself, and Delia. Alek smiled at Phia as they sat around the camp fire. The fire was absolutely blazing and the Apollo kids were singing beautifully like always. But then something different happened. There was a group of girls coming down the field towards them. One had black hair, and green eyes, and looked very similar to him. But Alek wasn't sure that he had ever met her before. Simeon and the dense Leo stood up and began shouting at the girls. Simeon caused a little bit of a ruckus. And Phia asked about mortals getting in the camp. "Mortals can't get in to the boundaries. I have a feeling that these girls aren't mortals." He said.

He watched as the interaction went on between Simeon, Leo, and the two leaders of the pack of girls. They looked not evil, but they looked like they didn't take crap from alot of people. "Simeon..." Alek trailed. He hoped that Simeon knew exactly what he was doing. It seemed that both Leo and Simeon had had some experience with these girls. And there was something different about them. He didn't think all of the girls were demi-gods, but a majority of them probably were. Maybe some of them were from the myths and legends he had been taught in high school. But he had to be careful calling these stories myths and legends, because the gods got mad when you did that. Delia looked like she was ready to fight, and he was pretty sure the girl could take them on. Alek was a little bit afraid for Delphia. He angled his body a little in front of the girl to protect her, so that she wouldn't get hurt. Alek just hoped Phia didn't get angry at him for doing so.

Penelope, or Penny as she preferred when she was around her hunters looked and there was the hill to Camp Half-Blood. She shuddered as they moved closer and closer to the boundaries. Penny could feel the magic working around the entire place. She didn't like being here. Penelope tried to avoid Camp-Half Blood, for the most part. But Lady Artemis had asked her to go her, as a personal favor. Both Penny and Lady Artemis knew something fowl was going on around the world. But they didn't know what. Or at least Penny didn't know what was going on. She had only had a brief chance to talk to Leena about it and they would have to find a more private place to talk to one another. Penny trusted Xyleena with her deepest darkest secrets, and treated her as more than a companion, but as a sister. If Penny were ever to die, she would give her spot to Leena with no questions asked. Penny sighed as they neared the camp fire, that was blazing extremely high. Leena asked her why they were here. Leena hated Camp Half-Blood about as much as Penny, herself did. "Leena, we are here because Lady Artemis demands it. There is trouble stirring, and the campers will need our help." She said. Penny knew that the other girl would give her a quizzical look, and want to know more, but for now that was all Leena needed to know. Plus Penelope did not want to cause a panic between the other hunters. The few who knew about it, the better.

Penny cocked her head as Simeon disrupted the peace that was going on at the camp fire. He told her and the other hunters to leave that they weren't going to take any more campers. Then as they were in close speaking range, he poked her in the collarbone. She didn't move much, and she didn't even have to retaliate, Leena did that for her. Penny sighed, as she held out her hands and stepped between the campers and the hunters. "Calm thyselves, sons of Athena and Ares. We come not to harm you, nor steal campers away from you. I need to speak with thou, and all the other heads of cabins." She spoke in her formal tongue. Penny was born about three thousand years ago, and her past was very painful. Her hazel eyes rested on the two twin girls. The one was very strong and had her fist clenched and her hand on her sword. The other, with less profound muscles was being sheltered by Alek. "Thou need not shelter her, and thou need not draw your sword. Chiron, we need to share some news with thou. 'Tis most important, most important in deed." She replied. "Very well indeed. Campers, go back to your cabins. The heads, we will gather at the ping pong table, in ten minutes. Penelope, you may set up your hunters in Artemis' cabin." Chiron said. The other twin stood up and looked like she was ready to defend their camp. Before anyone else could be dismissed, a crashing sounded through the camp. And a sign was lit up in the sky. There were two lightening bolts in the sky, right above the two twins heads. They were daughters of Zeus. "The twin daughters of Zeus will join in on the council." Penny said, as she and Leena led the other Hunters to the Artemis cabin.

Sheldon was sitting in math class in the back with Adrienne. They were trying to talk quietly together, so the teacher would not hear them. They didn't need to get another detention. Because if Adrienne got one more detention her father was going to send her to a school to make girls "proper". Whatever that meant. "Shelly! Why don't you believe me that Simeon is real?" She asked him. Sheldon sighed, he had known each other since third grade, and Adrienne had given him his nickname. It had stuck with him ever since. No one even knew his name was actually Sheldon, except his teachers. And even then, he couldn't even tell them to call him Shelly. Adrienne always informed them of that. "I've never even met the guy. All I know is that he goes to some school all year round and never visits you." He replied. "He does come and visit me. Every time he comes you're not here. Simeon is divine." She replied. Their teacher gave them a stern look and they immediately quieted.

Shelly ran his hand through his brown curly hair. He wasn't looking forward to the dance that would be at the end of the week. He had asked a few girls, and he had been turned down shamelessly. Sheldon was sad, but Adrienne had told him she would save him a dance. So that was at least good. He's still optimistic. Maybe if the other girls see him dancing with Adrienne, a normal girl in his school, they would start to dance with him. Shelly sighs. The day is going by so slowly. And all Adrienne talked to him about was Simeon, and how muscular and attractive he was. He turned to Adrienne and smiled, she smiled back. "Don't you have any girlfriends you can talk to them about Simeon?" He asked, actually being serious. Adrienne got a sad and dejected look on her face and sighed. "No one is as important to me as you Shelly." She said, resting her hand on his arm. Sheldon blushed, as much as he didn't like hearing about Simeon all the time, he couldn't resist Adrienne when she acted like this. Adrienne was the only friend he had, he didn't count the chess guys, because those guys were just geeks, and he wasn't a total geek. But hearing about Simeon and what he was doing this summer, or winter or whatever, really made him feel emasculated. It was the end of the day finally and he ad Adrienne were going to her house, to hang out for a while. She was rich after all.

delphia, simeon, xyleena, leonidas
the intelligent daughter of zeus and the witty son of athena.
questing with the determined artemis hunter and the arrogant son of ares.

Immediately, everything sped up. Simeon was yelling and spitting at the girls, along with the Son of Ares, Leonidas. Delphia was gaping at the scene that was playing out in front of her. Simeon was being pushed around by tall females that looked like royalty. The gave off silver energy and some had old, wise eyes. Their eyes were powerful and intimidating, they made Phia want to look away. They had crazy muscles and spoke like they had been alive for a very long time. She had always thought that Alek knew everything about this camp, so it took her by surprise when he said that he had feelings these girls weren't mortals. "Do you know what they are?" Phia asked, even though she already knew the answer to that question. Campers began standing, and arming themselves with their different weapons. It wasn't long before Delia stood up, ready to fight with her bare hands. When Del stood up, so did Phia. Unfortunately, she wasn't planning on fighting a bunch of powerful girls -- some looked more like women -- that looked like they could wipe down the camp in five minutes. Not someone you want to go up against.

Alek looked as if he was uncomfortable with Simeon yelling at the females. Leo looked like he was ready to fight, but he kept hesitating. Delia spoke between gritted teeth towards the females. The two girls asked who their father was, which surprised her. The girls somehow knew who the parents where of Simeon and Leonidas, then the raven haired female said something about turning Leo into a rat. Alek blocked her view of the girls, he slanted his body at an angle in a protective stance, like he was trying to protect her. Normally, it was Delia doing that. When the other one spoke, she spoke very formally. Delphia had a hard time understanding exactly what she was saying, but it sounded like she wished to talk to the councilors. "Are they immortal or something?" Delphia asked no one in general before Chiron spoke. He directed everyone to go to their cabins. A bunch of groans broke through the crowd of demigods. "We never get to hear anything," Delphia heard Electra, daughter of Aphrodite complain. It was basic for her to complain, but she looked like she was interested in the females. "I never liked those love hating Hunters anyways." This time, Electra spoke with a growl, like she had bad history with the "Hunters" too.

Delia first seemed reluctant to leave, but Delphia grabbed her sister by the arm and began to drag her towards the Hermes cabin until she heard a large bang. Phia looked up at the sky, expecting to see something. Instead, a gold lightning bolt was floating above her head. Panicking, she looked over at her sister who had the same thing. "What the..." Phia's voice faded when the lightning bolt did. A gasp and silence broke out between the campers, and they bowed. It was very surprising. Chiron shook her head, and Dionysus was laughing his a** off. "Ah, sisters." Delphia didn't understand why it was so funny until the one with the hazel eyes and spoke formal called them "daughters of Zeus". Delphia gaped at the girl, then looked at Delia. No way where they daughters of Zeus. Phia looked around, then her gaze settled on Alek. He would know what to do. "Where do we go?" Delphia whispered.

Simeon hated the way Penelope spoke. She sounded formal, like she was born in the middle ages. "Get with the century! No one has said "thy" or "thou" in a hundred years!" Everything about these girls aggravated him. Their hair, their old powerful eyes, their skin, how tall they where and their personalities. "What do you need to speak with us about?" Simeon spat, crossing his arms. He didn't trust the hunters, even though they where much wiser and smarter than the Son of Athena. Then, Xyleena asked him about who the parents where of the twins. This outraged him more. Of course one was stronger than the other, and that just so happened to be the one he was interested in. "It's none of your business," Simeon said right before Leonidas told the girls who they where. He rolled his eyes, sometimes that boy was just not smart. He expected such a thing from a Son of Ares. They where strong and loved to fight, but they weren't smart about it. Sometimes, it got annoying, but in the end they always came through.

He turned around to look at Alek, who was shielding Delphia with his body. Then, Delia backed herself up. Simeon smiled at first, until he heard a loud bang. Immediately, the smile wiped off his face and he looked up at the sky then back down at Delia and Delphia. Above their heads was a shining, golden lightning bolt that looked like it would electrocute you if you touched it. Absentmindedly, Simeon touched the top of his head, remembering the owl that had appeared one day. It was a memorable moment, and this would be their memorable moment. Being claimed was a rare event, and this was just fascinating. He was looking at twins of Zeus, the God of Gods. That explained so much. Immediately, Simeon bowed to the daughters of Zeus, just like every other camper. He was so dumbfounded, he hadn't even realized what this might mean for the hunters. Until Penny spoke. Simeon stood up, outraged that they would order them to the table, too. "They don't have to go. They where just claimed. They aren't even move in to their cabin!" Simeon raised his voice a little, even though he knew it was no good. The girls would end up going to the meeting anyways. They where now the councilors and the only cabin mates of Cabin One.

After that, Simeon cursed the Hunters even though it would do no good. He walked up to the girls, who looked as shocked as everyone else. "You two can go get your items from the Hermes cabin real quick and move into Cabin One, Zeus' cabin. In about eight minutes, meet me and Alek outside of the Big House." Simeon said, before turning around and going towards his own cabin. It wouldn't do any good, but it was just for a short rest and time to think. Once he got to his cabin, he stripped himself of his Camp Half-Blood t-shirt and put on a fresh one. He was pretty sure something wasn't right. He knew how much the Hunters hated this camp as much as he hated them. They wouldn't come to Camp Half-Blood unless demanded by Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt.

Xyleena had no clue what her friend had meant by trouble stirring. She knew that they where here for a quest from Chiron and a prophecy. She didn't know why. Leena did not find it surprising that her brother, Son of the Sea God, would protect the one female. What did surprise her was the golden lightning bolt that appeared above the twins heads. Leena knew she should have bowed down like the other campers, but she didn't feel like she had to. She watched as the different campers bowed down to the new Daughters of Zeus. Leena looked over at Simeon, who requested the new Daughters of Zeus not attend to the meeting. "How foolish of you, Son of Athena. Your mother would not be impressed," Leena only said that to piss off the boy, and it worked. A new flame lit in his eyes, but he trotted off to the girls, explained something, then went to his cabin. Xyleena hated boys, and he was no exception. She could tell his feelings for one of the twins where strong. That would cause a problem.

Electra Borzotra came into view, and Leena narrowed her eyes at the female who stuck her tongue out at her. No doubt the girl would despise the Hunters, who gave their life to Artemis for eternal Maidenhood. Aphrodite was the goddess of Love and Beauty, and quite frankly, she wouldn't agree with their choice. Xyleena would know, she had met the goddess herself. Aphrodite was manipulative, and did everything in her willpower to break the girls oath. Leena had almost broken the oath, by falling for one of the minor gods. Basic of Aphrodite, her and her tricks. Leena hated the goddess, but she knew better than to show it. No one wanted a god as an enemy. Xyleena watched the demigoddess strut off. The only noise left was the low cackle of the fire, that had died down by now. Penny led them to the Artemis cabin that was solid silver instead of solid gold, much like her brother. Leena recognized some of the other cabins. She had been to Camp Half-Blood multiple times since it had opened. She recognized the Hera and Zeus cabins, which were always empty until now. She noticed the Hermes cabin, which looked run down. On her right, she could see the hideous Ares cabin, and Leonidas walking into it.

After the hunters all got situated in their bunks, Penelope, Xyleena and Margaret all went off to the Big House. Maggie was new to the whole Hunter business, she had just accepted the oath six months before, and she was always trying to prove herself worthy of the Hunters. Truth be told, Leena never liked the female too much, she was always trying to out stage Leena. Which would never happen, due to the fact Leena was over two thousand years older than her. Penny and Leena sat at the end of the table, and Maggie sat next to Penny on her left. After Chiron arrived, looking unsure of himself, the councilors of the different cabins started pouring in, one by one. They all looked as unsure as Chiron did.

Lucky for the Hunters, the fight stopped. Leo was looking forward to bashing one of their faces in with his bare fists, but it didn't look like it was headed into that direction anymore. "No one can understand you when you talk like that, Penny." Leonidas said, but he really meant that he couldn't understand her when she spoke like that. He didn't live back then, how should he know? He didn't expect Delia to stick up for herself, much less Alek protect Delphia. When Delia stuck up for herself, a big bang was heard. Like every other camper, Leo looked up at the sky. It looked like it normally did. It was clear as clear could be, but around the camp was a brewing storm. The clouds where almost as black as Hades, and it storming like crazy. Taking his eyes off of the sudden storm, he looked at the twins quick enough for him to see the golden lightning bolts floating above their head. What did he do? He awkwardly bowed.

Awkwardly, Leo stood up and glared at the Hunters before meeting up with Electra. She was mumbling to herself about love and not being able to see hear what was going on. "Don't worry about it, love, I'll keep you in the loop." Leonidas winked at the girl and gave her his famous, sexy crooked smile. A grin spread across her face and she gave him a hug and then a quick kiss on the cheek. "Thanks! I don't think Marcus would tell me what was going on. He's so into himself," Electra rolled her eyes. Leo almost told something to the girl, about how it wasn't fair that she said that he was into himself when Electra was too. Before he could open his big mouth, she left him to go to her cabin with a wave. Leonidas waved back at the girl, before going to his own cabin. Things where as they always where. Campers where wrestling each other and punching each other in the face to see who could give who the biggest black eye. Chuckling, the Son of Ares left his cabin and headed to the Ping Pong Table. Who knew what the monsters had to say?

questing with the crafty artemis lieutenant and the optimistic mortal.

Delia wasn't ready to be claimed. As much as she wanted to be claimed, she wasn't ready for who her father was. Her father was Zeus. The God of Gods. That was a big thing. Especially seeing as how when she and Delphia turned to look at the leader of the hunters, every camp member was bowing towards them. Even Simeon was bowing to them. Delia opened her mouth a couple of times. But kept shutting it. She had no idea what to say or do. Delia didn't like being bowed to like she and Phia were as close to being a god as they could. She hadn't asked to be a daughter of Zeus, but that's who she was. Who Delphia was. Then the leader of -- what did they call them? -- hunters, said that they should be in the council as well. Simeon got mad again and said that they didn't have to go. But Del knew that they would. They were daughters of Zeus, and would be the head councilors of Cabin One.

Then Simeon turned to them, and told them to go and get their things from the Hermes Cabin, and move in to Zeus Cabin. And then to meet he and Alek outside the Big House in about eight minutes. Delia just nodded her head she could barely even think. They had just gotten claimed and now their was a big council meeting and everything was just moving too fast for her liking. Delia didn't have time to think about any more of this things. She grabbed Phia's hand and started making her way to the Hermes Cabin. Delia grabbed her things, and started packing them up. She was in a rush, so she probably left some things behind, that Lucas and the other Hermes cabin-mates would steal. But what would they want with a bra. Once she was done, Delia began helping Phia with her things. They were both nervous, but it was time to step up to the plate. "It will be ok, Phia, I'll be here to protect you. To protect both of us. Plus we have Alek and Simeon." She said.

Once they had everything packed, Delia grabbed Phia's hand and took her to cabin number one. It was large, and made of white marble. Delia opened the door, and stepped inside. There weren't many things, in here, except for a few statues of Zeus, and a few beds. The beds looked like they hadn't been slept in since a long time ago. Delia set her things, on the bed, where there was something etched in to the head board. It said Thalia. Delia wondered who that was. She placed her fingers along the writing and closed her eyes. Delia felt a little reassurance, from touching the name on the bed. She opened her eyes and turned to Delphia. "Ready for the council?" She asked. Delia wondered what the Hunters could possibly had to tell the campers and Chiron. But there was no time for questions, they needed to get to the Big House as soon as possible.

Alek was dumb-founded at first when the girls were claimed. He remembered being taken by Bobby into the bathrooms, his face was shoved into the toilet, and that's when he really first used his powers. Everything connected to pipes with water, exploded, and shot out at Bobby and the rest of the Ares cabin. When he finally freed himself and got outside, where all the other campers were standing, and watching, Poseidon had claimed him. A green trident had exploded over his head. Alek was brought out of his thoughts, when everyone from camp started to bow to the girls. Alek did the same thing as them, but he also felt relieved. Now their were people who had more seniority -- so to speak -- than him. He wouldn't be the most powerful, they were.

Just when he thought everything was righting itself in their little world, someone had to open their big mouth. Alek didn't know the girls name, but apparently she was the leader of the Hunters. Simeon was outraged that she dare order Delia and Delphia to the council, but in all actuality, the girl was right. The twins were daughters of Zeus, and would be required to sit in on the council. But Simeon regained his composure, and told the girls to go and get their belongings, then move in to Zeus' cabin, and meet Simeon, and himself in front of the big house in eight minutes. Alek walked off towards his cabin. A million things were running through his head. The Hunters were here, but why. Why would Artemis' "sisters" if you could call them that, be here at Camp Half-Blood. Nothing was making sense to him right now. Alek didn't need to bring too much to the ping pong table other than himself. He changed his shirt, and his pants, and then made his way to the Big House, in which the girls were already standing there waiting for him and Simeon. Alek smiled, trying to reassure them, even though it wasn't working on himself, and stopped in front of them.

Penny walked with Leena to the Artemis cabin. It was silver, just like the moon, and she felt oddly at home. For the first time ever, Penny felt at home in Camp Half-Blood. She walked in as the other Hunters began to unpack their bags. Penelope sat next to Maggie, with Leena across from her. She felt the tension between Maggie and Leena. Maggie was their newest recruit and she was always trying to prove herself. Penny hated having new recruits. They were always trying to prove themselves, and got into trouble. Maggie and Leena had been vying for her affection, Leena had Penny's affection considerably more, seeing as how they had known each other for so long, and Leena was older than Maggie by far. Penny sighed. She looked to Maggie and smiled. "Margaret, could you please go and help the other girls settle in, I need to talk to Xyleena alone for a minute." Penny asked. Maggie nodded, and went off. She used the maidens given names, like Margaret and Xyleena, when she gave them a job. At other times, she used their nicknames.

Then, Penny turned towards Leena and smiled. "Lady Artemis has become much more guarded around me. She is going out on hunts all by herself to hunt, and not including us." She said. Penny was becoming concerned for their mistress. A lock of her brown hair fell in her face, and she pushed it out of the way. She gave Leena a concerned look. Penny knew that Lady Artemis could take care of herself, but when the girl stopped taking at least her and Leena on dangerous hunting missions, you knew it was going badly. "She keeps telling me that more and more horrendous beasts, she hasn't seen of or heard of for eons, before my time, or yours, have started to resurface. Lady Artemis says that someone or something, has caused them to resurface." Penny said. She was worried about Lady Artemis, but she was also worried for everyone else. She looked to Leena who had a grave face on. The girl seemed to be taking everything in and thinking about what she was saying. "Will you accompany me to the council? I would like your presence there, along with me." She said, even though she already knew that Leena would come no matter what, with no hesitation or questions asked.

Penny wanted to make sure that if a fight broke out, or something big happened that she had her best friend, and sister there with her to diffuse the situation. That's why Penny made a great Hunter. She was always so calm and crafty in battle, but she did not like unnecessary violence either. Penelope had a calming effect on others, which helped the peace efforts. But apparently it did not work on Simeon much. He hated the Hunters, mainly because they had recruited most of his friends, and sisters from the Athena cabin. Penelope stood up, and straightened herself, so that she was stretched to her full height. Xyleena stood up as well. "Hunters, stay here in the cabin, and get thyselves ready for bed. You need all the rest you can get, we'll have a long day tomorrow. Xyleena will accompany me to the council, and then we will be back." She said, as the Hunters stood at attention at the ready.

Shelly and Adrienne walked the short two blocks, to her house. It didn't take them long. But no matter how many times Sheldon had been to Adrienne's house, he couldn't get over how big it was. Or the fact that she was rich. Adrienne didn't like to flaunt that fact, and that was mainly because she didn't like how her father destroyed nature, for condos, and mansions, and hotels. Adrienne was an art fanatic, and she was basically a tree-hugger. Or so he liked to joke. He opened the door for Adrienne, and she skipped inside, happy to be out of school. Adrienne directed him to the kitchen. Shelly was hungry and he was not shy about stating that fact. They grabbed the bag of oreos, and two glasses of milk and made their way to Adrienne's room.

Normally Shelly, and his mother would object to being in a girls room with no supervison, but her father was never around, her mother paid no attention to her, and the servants all kept to themselves. Not to mention that Shelly was an honorable gentleman, and would never take advantage of a girl like that. Adrienne flounced on her bed, but Shelly kept to his limits. He pulled up one of her hand painted chairs, decorated with splotches of different colors, to the edge of her bed, and began mowing on oreos. They were his favorite cookie, and Shelly always ate the Monroe's out of house and home. With all of this food in the house, someone had to eat it. Or else it would go to waste, and Sheldon Michael Hamlin, never let anything go to waste. "So have you asked anyone to the dance?" Shelly asked, interested in her news. Adrienne smiled, and shook her head yes. "I finally got a hold of Simeon and asked him, but he had to decline." She said, a little deflated. With that rejection, did she still have hope that this Simon guy would come to the dance with her? Shelly hoped not, she was just setting herself up for disappointment. Soon they started their homework and it was time for Shelly to leave, and go to his house for the night. Before they got up, and started everything all over again.

delphia, simeon, xyleena, leonidas
the intelligent daughter of zeus and the witty son of athena.
questing with the determined artemis hunter and the arrogant son of ares.

Phia looked over at Simeon when he told them to go to their new cabin, then meet them in front of the Big House. She was kind of iffy about it, but she figured she should listen to his judgment. She didn't talk to Simeon much, and judging from the way that Alek reacted around him, she assumed that she didn't like him much. She felt kind of fidgety, but she let her sister lead her towards the Hermes' cabin. Sometimes, her sister could be extremely annoying the way she bossed her around like a child sometimes. She was her older sister -- by a few minutes -- and she was a lot stronger and emotionally stable than Delphia. At times though, it got annoying. She would never dare tell her sister anything about that, but she didn't think her sister would get angry. Instead, she let her continue protecting her and bossing her around, but it was what she did. Even if she didn't need it where she was now, she knew she would need it in the future. Delphia promised herself not to rely on anyone as much as she did anymore.

When they got to the dirty Hermes' cabin, she immediately went to her sleeping bag that was right next to her sisters. She didn't ask how Lucas had snatched the bags, much less anything else he had stolen. Truth be told, she was afraid of the Son of Hermes. Quickly, she grabbed all of her items, which wasn't much, and stormed out of the doors of the Hermes cabin before she could be asked questions. Campers where eying her up and down and making ugly faces. Delphia looked away, blushing. As soon as she stumbled upon the Zeus' Cabin, she stormed in, not even taking a second glance. As soon as her converse hit the stone floor, she felt a wave of coolness slap her in the face. She looked around, the whole place was fascinating. Four bunks lined the walls, made of silver chroma that shone. The place smelled like electricity, but it was absolutely gorgeous. She gasped, looking at the beautiful pearly white walls. The sheets where made of silver and wool, their was a cabinet to place your weapons. It was amazing. Much better than the Hermes cabin. Delia went to a bunk on the right wall, and Delphia went on the opposite bunk on the wall parallel to it, so they could see each other.

Going to her bunk, she laid down her clothing and her few items before leaving to go to the Big House. Delphia nodded towards her sister, who asked her if she was ready. "Well, about as ready as I'll ever be." Phia sighed. She preferred to be in the Hermes' cabin now, other than be claimed by the God of Gods. They had been standing out there for a couple of seconds before she spotted Alek and Simeon making their way towards them. They both had worried looks on their faces, like they weren't ready to hear whatever the Hunter's had to say. That worried her. Reluctantly, she went inside of the Big House and towards the Ping Pong table. She sat next to Alek and Delia, but the Hunters sat at the head of the table. Next to the two girls she had seen before, was a different Hunter with blond hair. She was tall and skinny, like the other two, but she wasn't even twice as old. She had a determined look in her eyes, not wisdom or age. Her aura compared to the other girls looked like a spaghetti strap shirt, as opposed to the other girls who looked like they had a silver parka on. As soon as everyone had arrived, the girls began to explain why they where here. She then understood why everyone was dreading the meeting.

Xyleena thought about what Penelope had said to her. The thought kept coming back to her. She thought about what Penny had said. She couldn't believe it. Old monsters stirring? Xyleena had normally been good at hiding her emotions, but she knew that the worry was written all over her face. She could only imagine the beasts in the labyrinth. She had never been in the labyrinth herself, but she had heard many, many stories about it. Soon, the daughters of Zeus, the Son of Poseidon, the Son of Ares and Athena all joined in. Many more campers joined in as well. Marcus gave her a wink, and she glared the boy down. The ignorant Aphrodite males or females would never realize how stupid love was. She rolled her eyes. Oh, how she couldn't stand Camp Half-Blood. As soon as everyone was situated, and looking worried, Leena stood up. Even if she was not the lieutenant, she had known Penny for the longest time, she figured she wouldn't mind. "Trouble is stirring," Leena started, waiting for Penelope to object to Xyleena's idea to tell the campers and Chiron what was going on. When she didn't, she continued on.

"Lady Artemis has requested a quest," Xyleena looked straight at Chiron. Her eyes bore into his. "Right below the ground we are standing upon, monsters older than I and Penelope have been stirring. They are on the verge of resurfacing, and we cannot let that happen." Leena tore her eyes from Chiron and looked at the campers. Staring each one of them in the face. "Half-Bloods are waking these horrendous monsters. We assume they are older half-bloods, back when Kronos was trying to take over." Leena looked at the Twin Daughters of Zeus, they at her brother who had no idea she was his sister. "Anything else?" Xyleena asked Penelope, waiting for her to add something. Once that was finished, she turned back to look at Chiron, plead in her eyes. "We need a quest; not just for us, but for Artemis and for the survival of the Human race."

"Very well," the centaur said, looking stupefied. He looked like he couldn't believe what he just heard. "You shall have a quest, under order of Artemis." Chiron scratched the back of his head, looking at the different campers. "I would ask one of the two of you to lead the quest, but we do have a camper that has traveled in the Labyrinth before. Simeon, will you lead the quest?" Chiron asked, expecting a yes. Leena glared at Chiron, then at Simeon. She had expected Penelope to lead the quest, and not a boy. Especially a boy she didn't like. She huffed and sat down her chair, crossing her arms. She knew there was no way to have a quest without the boy, much less any boys. "Go on," Xyleena pouted, watching the boy she despised take the quest. Chiron told him to go to the Oracle, and once he left it was dead silent. "That is not what I was trying to imply," Leena whispered to Penny.

Simeon walked inside of the Big House with girls and Alek. He was very careful about what he did, and how he presented himself. He sat next to Delia, with Leo on his other side and Marcus sat next to Leo. He was fidgeting with his fingers, trying to figure out what was going on. What had happened to Artemis? Why where the Hunters here? They didn't want recruits? When Leena spoke, it was worst than he imagined. Monsters? Stirring? Ancient? Older than them? Simeon was gaping at the girls, then at Chiron. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa." Simeon spoke really fast, trying to get this straight. "You mean Kronos. The dude who was defeated by Percy and Annabeth?" Simeon asked, wondering what they had to do with anything. Percy and Annabeth where famous and all, but it was hard to believe that anyone would still want Kronos to reign. "That's not possible. If any Half-Blood was crazy enough..." Then, it hit him. Of course, the labyrinth makes people crazy. He had been there once before. He had sworn himself never to go back, but it looked like that wasn't going to happen.

When Chiron asked him to lead the quest, Simeon couldn't believe what he was hearing. "Chiron, you know what happened last time. I couldn't ever go back to that place. It's filled with secret passage ways. It reads your mind, plays tricks on you, distracts you." Simeon looked back at the girls. He knew they probably didn't want him on the quest, much less lead it. Obviously, the quest was very serious to them because they said nothing. "Fine, Chiron. I will lead this quest to the Labyrinth," Simeon sighed. He didn't want to, but he knew he had to. Chiron told him to go up to the Oracle, and he did just that. He hated the Oracle. It was terrifying and ugly. He shivered at the thought of the mummy in the tye-dye dress. Simeon shivered at the thought. He slowly crept up the stairs and towards the attic. He slowly opened the doors. Slowly entering the attic, trophies from old quests caught his eye. Snake skin, scarves, horns, claws, anything you can imagine, it was there. He looked at the Oracle, and spoke thinly, afraid of his prophecy. He spoke to her, and a green mist poured out her mouth. Looking at him was Percy and Annabeth, in their twenties. They where fighting monsters, but stopped to talk to him in the Oracle's voice.

Nine go together, on a perilous adventure.
Mortals, Half-Bloods and Hunters will wander together.
In a maze they travel, for their plans to unravel.
Oaths will be broken and love be forbidden.
Heroes will fall, and some shall be hidden.
                                But when everyone grows dubious,
                                they shall be victorious.

Stupefied, the picture in front of him disappeared, and the room was as lifeless as it was before. Looking around the room, he stumbled before leaving the attic and going back down to the Ping Pong table. Immediately he received looks. Simeon had his eyes wide as he sat down next to Delia. "I always hated that thing," Simeon mumbled. He rubbed his forehead before looking back up at Chiron. "What exactly did the Oracle say, Simeon?" Chiron asked. He looked like he was anticipating it. "Um.. Oh, yeah. Nine go together, on a perilous adventure." He delivered the first line. "Nine?! That's preposterous!" Chiron looked shocked, but Leena looked pleased. Until he delivered the next line. "Mortals, Half-Bloods and Hunters will wander together." The next line was almost as shocking as the first. Leena mouthed the word "mortal" with distaste before scowling. "In a maze they travel, for their plans to unravel." Simeon scratched the back of his head, trying to remember the next line. He knew for a fact the Hunters would not like this. "Penelope, don't kill me, but: Oaths will be broken and love be forbidden." Simeon said, bracing himself. Leena had wide eyes and her mouth was wide open. "Three more. Heroes will fall, and some shall be hidden. But when everyone grows dubious, they shall be victorious." Simeon rubbed his hands together, waiting for their response.

Leo had made it to the Ping Pong table before Phia, Del, Simeon or Alek showed up. Playfully, he winked at Penny, even though knowing he shouldn't have done so. If he pushed his limits, chances where he would end up like he did last time. But this time, he would be a rat forever. Leo shivered at the thought. As soon as everyone was inside, the Hunters began to elaborate. As usual, it was much worst than having the Hunters here in the first place. Leonidas crinkled his nose at the monsters, knowing this would be almost as worst as Kronos awhile back. He didn't like the sound of that, much less the Hunters. As usual, they requested a quest. Chiron immediately accepted, then directed Simeon to lead the quest. Leonidas had never been to the Labyrinth. He remembered when Simeon came back, though. He was a wreck. He wasn't his usual cocky self, it was like he lost a part of himself and slowly gained it back while over the years. After that, he promised himself never to go down there again. Leo looked over at Marcus, who had also gone on the quest with Simeon. He looked as terrified as Simeon did. Never been had he seen the Son of Aphrodite loose his cool.

"What's the big deal, anyways? It's just a maze." Leonidas said aloud after Simeon had gone to visit the Oracle. He looked around the room and at the stern faces. Besides Delia's and Delphia's. He then realized how stupid his question must have sounded to everyone. "Oh, um... Nevermind," Leo looked down at his hands, feeling embarrassed. Pretty soon, Simeon came back and took his position next to Delia and Leonidas once more. He had a priceless look on his face. Like he just saw a mummy. Pretty soon, he began telling the lines to the group of Half-Bloods and Hunters, which weren't too bad but they weren't too good. "Nine. Nine? That's a lot of people." Leo thought about it. Wasn't the sacred number three or something? Then, he said that there would be mortals, hunters and demigods. Whoa. Leo scowled, thinking about how annoying mortals could be. Then, the next line surprised him. He had to fight not to smile because the hunters where in the room. Inside, he was grinning like crazy. After he delivered the other lines -- which Leonidas let slide over his head because they weren't that important -- he stood up from his seat and placed his hands on the table. "I want to go," Leo said, looking at the hunters. "If that is okay with you, Simeon." His friend slowly nodded, looking at nothing in general.

Delia watched the Hunters speak. And how determined all three of them were. But there was something different and off about the third hunter. The previous two were shrouded in a blanket of silver, whereas the other girl, had hardly a sliver. It was faint, but still there. Delia wondered why they were shrouded in silver. But she didn't know mythology as well as Phia, or as well as Simeon and Alek seemed to know it. Then they started speaking about a maze, or a labyrinth, which was the same thing. But she had no idea of what it was. But Simeon volunteered to lead the expedition. Although he didn't want to. Simeon seemed to become a little skittery around the topic of this maze. And he went off to get the prophecy. While he was away, Leo seemed to be speaking the words that were on Del's mind. But as soon as he said them, they did sound stupid.

Then it seemed that Simeon had come back. He seemed more agitated and nervous then he had when he left for the prophecy. He took his place in between her and Leo, and sat down. Then Delia listened as her foretold the prophecy. But she was confused when he asked Penny not to kill him. He said something about oaths. Del didn't understand. But then Leo stood up, and placed his hand on the ping pong table and volunteered for the quest. Delia stood up, straight. She and Delphia wanted in on this quest as well. She knew anywhere she went, her sister would go. So Delia couldn't do anything to dissuade her sister from joining her on the quest. She did the same thing as Leo had done, not knowing if this was the etiquette for volunteering for a quest. "We would like to come as well." She said, looking at Simeon for approval. As much as she didn't like having to ask to go on this quest, so would rather get out of camp into the real world, than stay here.

Alek sat and listened as he was between Phia and Del. He tried to keep giving Phia reassuring looks from time to time. He was a little puzzled when they started talking about the labyrinth. That had been shut down before he had gotten to camp. Simeon had been down there, before he had gotten to camp, so he was surprised by Simeon's reaction. And the boy's reluctance to be the leader for this quest. Simeon had wanted a quest ever since the first time Alek had met him. And for a long time, Simeon had thought Alek would be the reason he got a quest. It looked like that he wasn't the reason at all. Alek let out a breath. Then Simeon took the quest and knew what he had to do. Simeon left the group, and Phia looked interested, and Del looked confused, as did Leo. But what surprised him was the way that Marcus looked. That guy never lost his cool once.

It didn't take long for Simeon to come back. And Chiron prompted Simeon for the prophecy. As Simeon began to explain it, Alek ran his hand through his hair. He didn't understand all of the concepts but he was sure that Simeon would understand most of them, and they would figure it out along the way. Then Leo volunteered and was accepted and then Delia volunteered for both her and Phia. Alek wanted to go on the quest. Not just because Phia was going, but because for one thing, Simeon owed Alek for inviting him to save the girls, and second of all, Alek wanted to go out on a quest. He was a year-rounder and hadn't been outside of camp since he had gotten there. Alek stood up, and put his hand out on the table. "I'll go as well." He said.
Penny sat there and she watched as Leo entered. He winked at her playfully and Penny just rolled her eyes. She could feel the disgust of Maggie. And Penny almost told the girl to get lost. This was for a meeting for the heads of cabins, and for a lieutenant and right hand girl. Which is not what Maggie was. That is what Leena was. Soon all the heads of the cabins, even the powerful daughters of Zeus were there. Penny gave the reins over to Leena, and Leena took over. She listened as her sister explained about the labyrinth and that they were here for a quest. Then Chiron said that the quest was granted. But he didn't grant it to her. Penny crossed her arms on her chest, and she grimaced as Simeon at first didn't want the quest, but he gladly took it.

While Simeon was gone, Leo asked a very stupid question. But she couldn't help but giggle a bit. What was coming over her? Penny shook her head, and stopped giggling. Then Simeon came back and said the prophecy. She was astounded, just as much as Leena was about the line about the oaths. Penny wasn't mad at Simeon, he wasn't the one who had given the prophecy, it had been given to him. But she was determined to prove the prophecy false. Only she and Leena would go on this quest from the hunters. They were the oldest, and the strongest to hold their oaths. Penelope stood up to her full height and stared down Simeon. "I think it wise Xyleena and I accompany thee, on thou quest." She said. Penny wasn't going to be taking "no" for an answer.

Shelly had finally gotten home and eaten some dinner with his family. It had been a long day, and he was pretty tuckered out. He walked up the stairs. And said good night to his parents. His mother told him not to keep it too late. Shelly just laughed. It was just like her to worry about him sleeping properly. Making his way towards his room, Shelly went to the bathroom. Washing his face and everything else he did before he went to bed. Shelly finished up and walked to his room. Putting on his pajamas, he climbed in to his bed. He pulled out his Superman Comic book and began to read. He loved comic books, he was a nerd like that. Shelly sighed as he shut off his light. Tomorrow would be a new day and then the next day would be the dance. For some reason, Shelly was excited for it. Maybe there was a change coming.

delphia, simeon, xyleena, leonidas
the intelligent daughter of zeus and the witty son of athena.
questing with the determined artemis hunter and the arrogant son of ares.

Imagine sitting in a room full of powerful demigods, three hunters, a Centaur and a god. If you could imagine the power radiating, you could imagine what Delphia felt. She was uncomfortable. She didn't like the aura much less the feeling lingering in the air. She crinkled her nose, not liking the atmosphere. Before the Huntress spoke, she knew she was going to say something horrifying. When she heard it, it was about twice as bad as she could imagine. She had heard tales of the Labyrinth. Some went in, and never came back out. Chiron asked Simeon to lead the quest, only because he had been in the labyrinth before. It shocked her. She couldn't believe something like that. Simeon looked like the type of dude that could do anything and not be phased. Even now he looked like he was pained to take the question. Phia shifted her gaze toward Marcus, who looked worse than Simeon. Delphia had never seen a son or daughter of Aphrodite loose their cool. Especially someone like Marcus.

When Simeon came back, he looked even worse than he had before. He began to recite the prophecy. It was horrible, but it wasn't good either. She frowned. Phia had no clue who this oracle was, but apparently it could foretell the future. "Okay, so... the oracle foretells fates, correct?" Phia confirmed. She looked at Simeon who solemnly nodded. She shifted her electrical eyes towards the group of Hunters at the end. "Well, try to avoid falling in love." Delphia said, halfheartedly. Leo volunteered immediately, and after that, Delia stood up and volunteered for the girls. At first, she was shocked, but she stood up as well and nodded. Simeon looked like he wouldn't allow it, but he didn't protest either. After they all volunteered, Leena and Penny said they would be going on the quest too. "Very well. Your group will depart a week from now. We need to get situated and know what we're doing before we leave." Chiron nodded, still looking uncomfortable. She hoped she knew what she was getting into.

Simeon didn't argue with Leo. He wanted his pal on the trip with him. He nodded and patted his friend on the back. Before he could say anything else, Delia decided she was going to volunteer for the quest. Simeon gaped at the persistent female. He had to admit, he admired her for wanting to do something so crazy. Simeon opened his mouth as if to say something, but he shut it immediately, knowing that she would just argue with him until she won. She had the tendency to do that to him. Simeon nodded, then watched the hunters. He wanted to see who would be the first to volunteer. Not too long, Penny popped up and volunteered for her and Leena. "Well that's six. If we're going to need the help of mortals, we should keep some spots open." Simeon said slowly, then stood up. "I'm going to go to bed." He knew he had a long week of preparation and stress before they finally would depart on their trip.

Xyleena was shocked when she heard the words come from Simeon's mouth that oaths would be broken. "Oaths will be broken?!" Leena silently cursed. "That is not possible, boy." Xyleena knew good and well it was possible, but she did not like it one bit. She bit her tongue to stop herself from cursing. After Simeon was finished with the prophecy, Leonidas stood up and volunteered. "Oh, no you don't." But, Simeon didn't object, which meant that the perverted male would travel with them on the quest. Before Leena could volunteer herself, Penelope stood and volunteered for her. Xyleena stood next to her sister -- not by blood -- and looked at the other demigods that didn't budge. Marcus didn't even twitch. Good thing, too. Just as they had settled who was going on the quest, Margaret popped up. It was at last minute, and Xyleena wasn't too happy wit her decision to do so.

"Whoa, hold up, I want in too." Margaret Chester, the new Huntress stood up proud. Leena gaped at the new hunter, wondering why she would be too crazy to do so. "Please understand, Margaret, this mission is dangerous. Are you willing to risk sanity and life? You are ill trained; I would not suggest such a stupid move." Maggie was now shooting daggers at the much older female with her eyes. "I don't care. I am willing to risk it for my goddess. Simeon! Will you let me go on the quest?!" When Simeon said yes, she gave a confident grin towards Leena. Fire flickered in Leena's eyes. She was ready to shoot an arrow in between this female's eyes. "Watch what you do and say, young huntress." With that, Leena gave her one last glare before leaving the Big House and strutted towards the Artemis Cabin. She had much to do.

Leonidas knew that Simeon wouldn't tell him "no" to the quest. After he stood up, so did Delia and Delphia. After the twins volunteered, so did the Hunters. Leena told him directly that he wasn't going on the quest, but Simeon gave him permission. "Hate to burst your bubble, Girl, but I totally am." Leo gave a lopsided grin then sat back in his chair. He was just about to get up and leave before the other huntress could volunteer. After Xyleena and Margaret spat at each other, Leena stormed out, obviously not too happy. Leo simply shrugged, blew a kiss at Penny, and stood up. "Well, time for this man to get his beauty sleep. Night," Leo said while stretching. He pulled his arms behind his head so his camp shirt picked up and Penelope could see his abs. He winked before walking off into the night.

prom was not apart of the deal.

fortunately, simeon realized what they where missing to complete
their quest. unfortunately, that involves going to a public school
and going to a prom. most demigods don't even make it to
prom, much less go to one. no one is happy about it, but it
must be done. i mean, who goes to prom in complete greek body
                              armor? duh, no one.
