The Enterprise has been repaired, and Kirk, the Captain couldn't be more thrilled, the Vulcan could tell, he didn't express such emotions, but it was easy for him to read other, especially James T. Kirk. The relationship between him and Kirk and changed for the better, no longer enemies, but friends, well at least they were working on it. Jim could sometimes get quiet annoying, and Spock was getting used to it, sense the Vulcan was the captain's first officer. Spock was walking alone through the halls, on his way to the elevator, it was there first lift off sense the repairs, the ship needed from the Rolmulan attack. Vulcans and Romulans, they were once the same, but changed drastically. Spock stepped into the elevator, patiently waiting to reach the bridge. He stepped out onto the bridge, everyone was there, except the captain, but soon enough he walked in. Spock was walking around with his hands behind his back. Kirk walked in, beaming, smiling widely, he was proud of himself, and everyone knew it. He walked to his chair and took a seat. Spock smiled ever so slightly, but it disappeared. "Lets go" Kirk said enthusiastically.

Spock nodded, Sulu and Chekov nodded, and turned in their chairs. The ship started up, and soon enough they were in warp three. The ship slowed down, and exited out of warp, and started to just slowly drift forward. "Where to captain?" Sulu asked Kirk, turning in his chair. There was was not designated spot they needed to be. "Where ever you feel like it Sulu" said the captain. Spock slightly raised a brow and looked at Sulu, he seemed thrilled to be able to go where ever he pleased. Sulu set up a route around the solar system.

A few hours passed, and the Enterprise was quiet, people were settling in, and heading to the cafeteria for lunch. Spock was with Kirk, McCoy and Scotty. In line to get their food. Spock got his usual bowl of fruit and vegetables, making sure to grab a fork, he like most Vulcans disliked using his hands for eating. The four of them took a seat. Three of them were talking about something that didn't appeal to Spock. But Spock still listened to them silently, "Ei!, but shes got a great personality...". Kirk laughed, and turned to Spock, smirking, "What you say Spock, sense you're well the one that was 'seeing' her?" James said, leaning on the table. "Who would that be Captain?" Spock asked curious, he sort of had a thought, but Spock and Uhura were no longer 'seeing' each other, as Kirk put it. "Nyota, Spock" McCoy said impatiently, using the lieutenant's first name. Spock's ears perked and and he swallowed the strawberry he had been chewing. "I have no words on the matter, Lieutenant Uhura, and I are just mere friends" Spock told them, looking over at them, "Love is illogical" he said aloud, but it was more to himself. He didn't have that strong of feelings for her, so he thought continuing that relationship would be illogical of him.

The three continued on another conversation, and Spock decided not to say his input. He didn't think he would ever understand humans fully, he was curious about how hard it would be for a Vulcan who was 100 %. Spock was only half human, so sometimes he did express human emotions, and he disliked doing so, people took advantage of it, like Kirk did to gain control of the the ship, but Spock's future self told him to do so. Spock sighed lightly. "'Ight I am goin to get back to work" Scotty announced to them. They all nodded, and eventually Kirk, and McCoy left as well. Spock sat alone, finishing his fruit and vegetables.
