- In a land not so far away, and not so long ago, live a set of humans, werewolves and vampires. They are yet to become aware of one another, with the werewolf pack having just moved into the neighborhood. Yet, though the relations between werewolves and vampires are always tense at best, these two particular groups seem down right hostile with one another. Resentful that these animals have found them, the vampires hide away in their mansion, though some dare to venture out.
Whatever their reasons, the High Council is finishing the agreement that all packs and covens around the world are supposed to adhere too - whether they like it or not. And to help assure the terms are met, two angels have been assigned to the region to govern the two legions as they begin to heal the rift. But one of the only things these two can agree on, is that the angels are interfering with their way of life - and until they are absolutely forced to by the Council, they will remain at each other's hair for now.
So to help smooth things over, the angels for each region are required to host a ball on the eve of New Year's - just in time for High Council's law to take effect. Somehow, within two weeks, these servants of the Council are supposed to join the coven and the pack, keep their emotions at bay, and force them all to smile pretty for the ball. But when things are already tense, how are they going to pull it off?
Secrets from the past, uncontrollable strength and power, and a few humans and angels, all add to the mix of things - so what will happen now?

- The High Council
Angel One is played by Pixie_Dot
- A sweet caring angel who is as heavenly as the place she came from. Never having known hatred in any form, she is distraught over the wars the vampires and werewolves have participated in (though she personally refuses to take one side over the other). She is on the fast track up the Council ladder - complient and sweet. But things get complicated, when she is starting to have feelings for Werwolf Three (just another reason she wants to see everyone get along). Because of her open support for the cause, she is one of the few Earthbound angels to still have her wings. Oh and another thing: she actually loves the idea of playing hostess and getting to plan the region's Ball!

Angel Two is played by Siren Wishmaster
- Though he is to be supervised by Angel One, he resents the notion that the High Council doesn't think he can do this on his own. In fact, he resents anything the High Council asks of him - because this one is a rebel. He is űber reserved and speaks quite eloquently, and can match wits with anyone - a fact that Vampire One finds highly attractive. He at first seems spiteful to her, but her own reserved personality hit's a chord with him. Still, as a rebel, this one has quite a cocky attitude. He truly believes he is above anyone, even the High Council, and because of his superiority complex, he has been stripped of his wings. Bitter and resentful, this is his first assignment since he's been Earthbound. But if he manages to get everyone to sign the peace treaty at the ball, he'll get his wings back! So for now, he's willing to suck it up, force everyone to the ball, and bail and revolt as soon as the assignment is over . . . that is, if he doesn't fall head over heels for the Vampire mother!

The Vampires
Vampire One is played by momiji85
- This particular vampire coven's leader, harbors a dark secret from her past. She is spirited and motherly to her coven members, and will do anything to keep them safe. Thus, she is the one most appalled by the union of the clans - and has no problem voicing it either. Among the coven, she is the oldest, having been turned in the 1500's. Though happily married, after two centuries together, the marriage is becoming strained, and with all the latest stressors going on, she is having a hard time staying positive. Highly religious though, she is amazed to finally meet real angels, and can't help but feel attached to them, particularily, Angel Two - who is starting to return the feelings. Guilt ridden, she tried to hide the new set of emotions going on between them, and tells herself its an innocent crush, but is it?

Vampire Two is played by reserved!
- He is Vampire One's Irish husband, though there seems to problems in the marriage bed. He is athletic and quite strong, even for being a vampire. But though his wife is the motherly type to the other vampires, Vampire Two is more the brotherly type. He is the second youngest of them all, having been turned in the late 1800's, but he is also the second member to join the coven - the other two joining shortly afterwards. It was he, who helped Vampire One to come out of her centuries long depression, and her belief that she deserved to be alone for all eternity. And it was he, who showed her they deserved more company and pushed her to be the social butterfly he knew she was. She is eternally grateful to him for it, but will the love last? He's been a little distant himself, unsure of how to feel about the union, but certainly not as against it as his wife. But one thing they can agree on? No humans allowed near them - because he still has quite the bloodlust and practically runs as soon as a human comes within twenty feet of him. He wants to support Vampire Four's new found love, but can't help but side with Vampire One's protests on the matter.

Vampire Three is played by HART b r a k e
- A young looking woman who is Vampire One's closest confidant, though she is drifitng from the coven by consorting with werewolves - in particular, Werewolf Two. Of all the vampires in the coven, she is the most recently turned, having only become one in the 1920's. Yet unlike Vampire Two, she can control her bloodlust remarkably well. Having no problem with humans, or their blood, she readily enjoys socializing with them in a school setting (and currently pretends to be a junior in high school). Of all the vamps, she is the most flirtatious, and feisty, but always nice, and fair - which is why she feels Vampire One is just stalling the ineviatable with the proposed union. But until the union is solidified on the first of January, this Vampire will remain silent about her growing relationship with Werewolf Two.

- A young looking man who is openly dating a human, but whose girlfriend does not know he, nor his extended family, are vampires. Though he and Vampire One have the most sincere relationship (and the best bond) within the coven, Vampire One still resents the idea of this vampire trying to date a human. She feels like he is putting them all in danger (like he has unwillingly done before), but she won't argue the fact until they cross that road - but still, this vampire has to sneak around about his relationship when it comes to his "Mother", which is something he hates. He feels like this one could be the "one", finally, and only wishes to show them how wonderfully she is - though the chance might happen sooner than he thinks when he needs to bring her home because of the abusive homelife she's been living in. Out of his coven, he is the second oldest, having been turned in the early 1800's - but though he is the third to join, he is considered fourth in rank according to the High Council, simply because Vampire One, considers him the "child".

The Werewolves
Werewolf One is played by Gothika_DeJeur
- A mysterious pack leader who has been a hermit for centuries, roaming the country sides of Europe. None of the current pack have ever actually met him (though he corresponds with them through elaborate letters), and are beginning to question his reign as an absent leader. So just in time, he returns (for the ball) - but what will happen with a mutiny on his hands? Of all the characters, he is the most complex and mysterious. Never has the phrase "Still waters run deep" been more true, than with this one. Though his pack might wonder how the heck he's been able to hold onto his job, it all becomes clear with the fact that he had instrumental part in the founding of the High Council. So really, if anyone can get away with anything, it's him. But will he use that power for his own benefit when he finally shows up?

Werewolf Two is played by [hachiro]
- This one is the beta of the group, but has been able to be the stand in-alpha while the leader is away. He is a kind man, and a good leader, though a little soft. He is secretly meeting with Vampire Three to discuss the joint union of the coven and pack (but that was only in the beginning, now they are still meeting for far more romantic reasons) - but either way, they are doing it underneath everyone's noses. So of course they are bound to be caught sooner than later. Or maybe they'll come out at the ball? Anyways, being a werewolf never suited anyone better than him; having been born this way - and thus a purebreed - in the 1950's, Werewolf Two is quite comfortable in his skin.

- A drifter (up until a few years ago), he's the one who joined the pack the most recently. Though a little lovelorn and shy, he is probably the most intimidating of them all based on size and strength. He is, not quite so, secretly in love with Werwolf Four (he practically stalks her!), though when she begins dating a human, this werewolf notices the stares coming from Angel One (but does he like it or hate it?). This werewolf was transformed in the 1970's, and even belonged to another pack before his current one. But he never quite bonded with them, and left, only to stumble upon Werewolf Two, who's now his mentor and best friend. Out of all of them, he is the one who's the dreamer - but he's to stuck on his obsession with Werewolf Four to focus his powers of imagination on anything else.

Werewolf Four is played by OuEstLaCraie
- A spirited young woman who is the youngest of the werewolves (though she was the third member to join, the pack is counted by age, not joining date). She is adapting, though not as well as the others had. Because of her discomfort from Werewolf's Three's advances (among other things), this Werewolf actually left the area for a while - and aged a few years from being away from it all. But her beauty is more striking than ever, and as soon as she returns to the pack (albeit staying in her own house this time around), Werewolf Three starts chasing her again, much to her dismay. Though she is obviously aware of Werewolf Three's feelings, she is soon beginning to date Human Two, and rebuffs any further advances from her packmate. Of the pack, she is the one who despises vampires the most. Her obvious disgust for the vampires comes from a past episode involving a vampire attack, though not with the coven living nearby. It is unclear at this point who knows about this past history. She is also the youngest of the group, but a purebreed, having been born in the 1980's.

The Humans
Human One is played by Cloud_Watching101
- Is Vampire Four's girlfriend, who is secretly a psychic healer. However this ability (in any form) drains her considerably and past shunning in the manner has disdained her from revealing the secret to her boyfriend - who she has no idea is a vampire, much less his family, too - though she has never met them, and thus doesn't even know what they look like. Oh won't she be in a shock after she learns the truth? After all, what high school boyfriend of yours had a mother who was barely in her older twenties? Though she is being abused at home by her foster father, this human is innocent, and kind - a trait that keeps her alluring to Vampire Three. We meet her just as she is rescued from her abusive home by her boyfriend, and about to meet the rest of the family. But just how long will the coven be able to hide their true identities from her?

C O N sadly, the abuse has started to make her feel self councious and thoughts of not being good enough for her boyfriend are entering her mind

Human Two is played by username
- A fellow psychic who can see the past by touching objects, though it's a fleeting gift, and only shows him flashes of an image. He harbors a large crush on Werewolf Four, though just how much he knows about her or her pack is unsure at the moment. In fact, no one really knows too much about this guy either. He seems quite the tough guy, and eagerly accepts the bad boy image the small town is giving him. Being the only other psychic in the area, beside Human Two, these two don't even know about one another, only of one another from going to the same high school (though he has only joined a few months ago, when the current school year started). Adding to his reputation is the fact that he moved into an old home that the townsfolk swear is haunted and won't go near. In fact, nobody knows if he even has any family, since it seems as if he's living by himself. But wouldn't the State intervene? After all, of all the characters, he is the youngest at the age of sixteen. Surely he can't be by himself, can he? Maybe he's emancipated? Or maybe he has a parent who's an invalid, and stuck in the house all day? There is definitly more to this guy than is at first revealed.

- The Basics
Oh no, it's paragraph form rules . . . well I don't like them either, but it deters people who don't read them, and makes those of us dedicated to good roleplaying happy that those people don't join ^^ So like the title says, basics first: fallow Gaia ToS, and try to keep it PG-16. Besides basic common courtesy, I ask that we all respect and encourage one another throughout this rp. I want this to be a fun experience. So though this is a literate, to advanced literate roleplay, I really don't want us to be so formal and stiff that this becomes more of a chore, than a happy coalition of writers.
In Depth
Allright, so I covered the basics, let's get into the good stuff. First of all, I need to mention that though I understand we all have lives (trust me, I truly understand this!), I would appreciate, a post, a couple of times a week. I'm not going to come hound you about it, but so long you let us know if you might be away, then I'll be more than fine with you taking a little longer to post. But still, I'd prefer atleast a post a week from each roleplayer ^^ Next thing on the list would be posting length. Though this is a lit to advanced lit roleplay, I don't expect, nor really want, a book length post each time you post. I mean, especially in the beginning, when we introduce our characters and story, I'm sure, we'll end up with some long posts - but more than five paragraphs would just be tiring - for the writer and the reader. I believe in lots of details and emotions throughout your post, but I think a post of two to five paragraphs gives the reader that, while still leaving enough to entice us, readily awaiting the next one. Do I really have to mention no one liners? Blah. Make sure to italisize your thoughts with the postingcolor of your choice, and bold your character's speech with the same postingcolor. Lastly, I would like decorative posts - this helps makes your post as individualized as possible, and makes it stand out, among a sea of posts. If you need any help with coding, I'd be more than fine with it! In fact, I'd love to help!
About the World you Live in
The reason I add this, is to make some limitations. Hey, just because you're a vampire or a werewolf doesn't mean you're not vunerable. And I'd like to explain the importance of the High Council a little bit in here. Of course if you have any other questions after reading this, feel free to PM and I'll make sure to reply as soon as I can. Anyways, let's start with the High Council. If you fallow Twilight at all, I guess you'd compare these guys to the Volturi. Otherwise, I'd describe them as the lawmakers for all magical, mythical creatures. In coordination with different levels of creatures, they are also lead by mostly Angels on the council. The Council makes the laws, and have different departments who carry out and enforce the law. Hence, why two angels from above are on assigment for the Council. In my head, I picture them in legion with God - an agreement to help Him out once in a while with keeping things in control down on Earth XD And yes, I see Cleaners who clean up outings of various creatures in the human world - but I don't foresee using them in this particular thread. Okay, so moving onto the vampires - they are super strong. Maybe they can bend a small tree, or survive a car crash, but that doesn't mean they can slice through a metal door, or not have cuts and bruises from that same accident. In this thread, vampires can bleed, but it's hard for them to get hurt, and their blood is venom to humans. Their blood can sting and hurt and be poisonous to the point of killing their victim, but unless the human drinks the vampire's blood, they cannot become a vampire. And yes, you get a cool power, but like let's say you choose telekinesis. Okay, so you can flutter the pages of a book, or hey, maybe with practice you can lift your own weight in objects, but you cannot lift a car, or an elephant >>; That kinda thing goes along with werewolves, the strength and powers part at least. Something that I'd like to contribute to the problematic relationship between the two clans - is one, they need each other - even though they hate each other. The werewolves can stay immortal like their vampiric counterparts, but they can only do so if they live within ten miles of them - basically in close proximity. The vampires need the werewolves for their heat. Being undead can take a toll on your personal heat reserves, and being near werwolves help keep things from feeling arctic within themselves. Of course, if they really wanted to, they could just deal with being cold all the time, but when you brush up againt humans, you don't want them to think that you're about to keel over from hyperthermia. And yes, both sets of creatures could go apart from each other for a few years and be just fine, but eventually, the benefits will wear off - the werewolf will begin aging, and the vampire will become frozen within itself. But still, these creatures can't seem to get over past wars and the High Council has made up its mind to end the hostility themselves. Because, after all, the benefits to one another, outweighs their mutual hate. And this thread is all about the werewolves moving nearby, both parties refusing to have anything to do with one another - and then these angels coming along, saying, "Can't we all just get along?" But whether they want to, or not, the Angels are there to ensure the order will carry out swiftly as it becomes law - which is in three weeks.
Wrapping It Up
Well I guess the only thing left to be said, is how to join. The only way you can join this particular thread is if I, or another accepted character, invites you. Send in your reserve (found in the profiles page) with the title: "Love" and once I check you out (not only for your posting samples, but also the frequency in which you post, and how long you stick around in other rp's), I will let you know either way whether I'd like a profile from you or not. Again, the profile skeleton is in the profiles section, and so long you send it to me within a week, under the title of "And War", you'll be readily accepted! Other than that, the last rule, is to have fun!

- The Town
- The Town is a small community, where most everyone knows everyone. The busiest part of town is Main Street. Because of it's small population, the local kids travel thirty minutes to the school a town over. But now that it's Christmas vacation, the last of their worries is school. But though they do not have a school in the area, they do have a small theater, a local grocery store (with a pharmacy within), and a petite gas station - all located within the town center. It's a quaint place, in the middle of nowhere; which is why both legions haved moved here.
The Outdoors
- The woods are nicknamed the Black Forest. Thick with trees, and wildlife, only trained hunters go in, much less live there. It is a foreboding place in the daylight, and downright frightening at night.
The Vampires
- Through the thick dense woods, lies a small man made clearing that serves as the driveway that leads to the manor from a dirt road to the side of the town. But though it can look bleak heading to it, the manor itself is beautiful. Restored completly by the curent occupants, they picked this manor to add onto, because of it's location. Not only because of its hidden spot within the woods, but also because the land leading up to it, is also hard to climb. Salesmen nerver ring it's bell.
The Werewolves
- The werewolves have just moved into a house on the outskirts of the woods (though one female werewolf lives in her own house nearby). Between the town and the edge of the forest (which is practically their backyard), this pack seems to welcome human interaction, unlike the vampires who try to keep a low profile. Their house, a beautiful example of mixed European styles, is lit up at night by large windows throughout. The only vying property that might be considered as competition is the Vampire Manor, which barely exists in the knowledge of the townspeople.
The Angels
- The Angels live together on Main street, in a two bedroom apartment above a store front. With one and a half bath, and a kitchen, it serves it's purpose for the two angels who are not as angelic as they once were now that they reside on Earth. Of course, as soon as they return to Heaven, they will be able to restore their powers to their full extent as angels once more.

What's Going On:
- Okay, so here we are - the angels have just landed on Earth. They are dealing with plenty of their own demons, but for now, they are trying to focus on the matter at hand. With Angel One heading over to the Werewolves, and Angel Two aiming for the Vampires, these two High Council members are praying that the two legions will simply comply, and sign the treaty (which if it doesn't happen today, HAS to be done by midnight on New Year's, or else . . .).
But the coven doesn't have time for this! Vampire Four has just pulled up the driveway, with his human girlfriend in tow and Vampire One is furious. Vampire Three is missing in action (most likely sneaking around with Werewolf Two), and poor Vampire Two is trying to remain calm as the human scent begins to envelop him. Tension abounds, and one wonders what on Earth could make Vampire Four bring his girlfriend into all of this . . . and just how he expects to hide his vampirism (and his family's) from her. But then again, he's just found out about Human One's bruises, and couldn't help but pack her bags for her, and whisk her away!
Not to be outdone, over at the werewolves' lair, Werewolf Three is sitting all alone at his house (surely Angel One will find him!), wondering where his best friend ran off to (hint, hint Vampire Three?). His thoughts drift off to Werewolf Four (naturally), who is in town shopping for a large dinner she plans on cooking for her men. Surely, Werewolf Four will end up running into Human Two. The devillishly good looking man is sure to be around somewhere (probably breaking speed limits with his roaring motorcycle). Sure, they've noticed one another, but have yet to talk . . . maybe today will bring a change? Oh and in case anybody's wondering where Werewolf One is, he's stuck on a boat, bound to arrive just in time for the ball.
So with everyone running, colliding, and just downright crashing into one another - well, let the drama unfold . . .
