He gripped the couch for support and cursed his family for hurting him. But he looked at her and breathed hard. "I could never be mad at you." He said sincerly, " just...have some issues I havent really told you about."

Kyuki looked at him sadly. "Then tell me now. Please I want to understand you more."

He moved and sat on the cool ground, breathing hard. "There's a thing...with werewolves and the moon...the wovles and supernatural creatures of the night do it's bidding. Tomorrow. At ten....I will b in a forced change and I cant come out of it until the sun rises..." He paused... "But there's a problem...as you are forced to be controlled....you dont have two worlds, there's just the world you walk, hunt, sleep, and...kill on." He drew in a breath. "Tomorrow, I want you to stay away from me and kit also. Stay home and shut yourself in...I dont know what i'll do...but I have cravings right now...and that means that hurt or not I will be gone hunting tomorrow."

Kyuki stared at him. She sat next to him on the floor. "H...How long would I have to stay away from you....I'm not scared..." she said and looked at the floor.

"All night, until sunrise...and you should be...if you dont lock yourself away from me...I will completely forget about my human life and think of only what smells good and what I want to have for dinner. And that could be your." He hurt himself when he said that and he looked away and starte dti cry. "If I were to hurt you then I would kill myself, I would deem myself unworthy to live and I would make sure I would't hurt anyone else." He sniffed. "If anything happen then it would be my fault and I would throw myself in the pack and let them kill me..." he didn't wiped his eyes but laid his head down on hios knees. He craved her so much and yet he felt like he had to stay.

Kyuki looked at him and saw his tears . She gently took his hand and placed it over her heart. "Do you feel that..." she whispered as her heart beat. "That beat is for you and only you...If something were to happen to me...It would be my stupidity. And not your fault. If I were to be gone...I wouldn't want you to kill yourself..for I would be always with you to protect you....I will be fine tomorrow. Ok." she whispered.

He looked up as soon as she took his hand and looked at her. "Kyuki no...." But his heart and mind bended to hers and he moved closer. "I will protect you, always, dont you ever worry aboout fighting for me. I will always be alright and i'll always recover." His eyes strong as he looked into her and felt both him and his wolf side full of love and determination, promise and his own justice. he was woried still, though cofidence was building slowly.

Kyuki looked at him and held his hand close. "But I don't want to see you hurt. "'m causeing you so much trouble." she said and looked away to hide her tears.

He watched her and then grabbed her chin softly to look at him. "You've given me a life to live. I dont cre if i'm hurt. As long as I get to see you and be in your presence, then I will always be alright."

Kyuki looked at him with tears in her eyes. "I'm happiest with you." she whispered.

He looked at her and with his free hand he dried her tears and grabbed her hand, putting it to his heart. It beat like a dogs, fast and nearly without rythym. "I hurt here whenever I see you hurt or cry. I want to always see you happy when we are alone together okay?" he was hoepful but he knew they both wouldn't always be happy. but before she could answer he laid his head on her soulder, being that close now.

Kyuki leaned into him when he rested his head on her. She closed her eyes and held his hand and felt his fast heart beat. Her heart beat faster.

He smiled to himself and decided to tease her a bit as he felt her heart race. "Dont tll me you're falling for an animal." He whispered into her ear and payfully licked and nipped her. Lance wanted to know what she would do to him.

Kyuki blushed and looked at him. "So what if I am..." she said, blushing more by the second.

Lance smiled. "It's interesting and in fact has never happened with werewolves and ghumans." He smiled and deeply kissed her cheek.
