Kyuki looked at him sadly as she started to wrap the bloody areas.

He stared up with his dull eyes and then they flicked over to the wounds. he couldn't help but watch her wrap him up.

Kyuki seemed to know what she was doing. A little to well. It seemed she had done this to her self many time before.
|

Eventually through time he started to doze and then wake up to see her. Lance's guard was up even when injured...but he couldn't help it. He was deathly afraid of losing his only connection to the past...and best friend. Kyuki was his world now...he wouldn't let anything happen to it. Even if he were dead.

Kyuki finished and took his hand. She looked at him then at her lap.

He stared into her eyes and tried to sit up. His other hand clutching to the couch.

Kyuki looked at him. She wanted to cry. She didn't know what else to do.

Finally he could sit up fine. "Are you hungry?" he rasped as his dulled eyes looked into hers.

Kyuki looked at him. "Are you? I can go make you something." she said.
|

"Not I'm not....but are you?" He was dying to have somethign he hadn't eatten in years..human.He darted his eyes and tried to ignore his cravings.

"I'm fine...But are you sure. Please tell me if you are hungry..." she said.

His fangs started to grow mout as he stared at her but he jerked and stood, almost falling over. He felt a full moon coming soon. The next night and he would have to seperate himself from Kyuki...to save her life.

Kyuki got up. "What is it? What's wrong?" she asked worried.
|
|
|
He looked away. "Nothing. He said in a half soft voice. he was really wanting to space himself before he got too attached.

Kyuki stared at him. "Are you mad at me?" she asked, wanting to know why he wasn't even looking at her.
