Elric's hands were safely inside his pockets. The night was young but he was already bored out of his mind. The other members of his coven were out looking for a good time. He kicked an abandoned can down a deserted sidewalk. After years of living, life got pretty boring.
[[Sorry it's so short.....I can't really think of anything good right now.]]

Meiko, walked the darkened streets looking around silently. Her wings were ever so delicately folded in and her hands were folded infront of her. She hadn't realized that when she arrived from the heavens that it would be this late at night. She needed to find a place to stay. She sighed and than smiled as she walked under each street lamp. She didn't know if anywhere would be open, though she did run into a few problems when she first arrived. She ran into a couple of guys that liked to mess with her and a couple of random girls asking if she needed a job. It was scary sometimes. She let out one more sigh as she heard footsteps and she looked around trying to figure out where they were coming from. She heard the clank of a can being kicked as well. She stopped under the streetlight which made her wings shimmer a little and make it seem like she was glowing, though that was usual for her in heaven. She just stared looking around wondering who was coming this way and where they were coming from as well.
Elric's hearing alerted him that someone was near by but he didn't really care. What was one human among many? He sighed before kicking the can just a bit harder. As he drew closer, something told him that something wasn't quite right. He tensed slightly before moving closer.
"Who's there?" he asked, suddenly feeling a bit uneasy. He could now see a shape under a street lamp. As he drew closer, it looked like it was glowing. He stared in slight disbelief.

She stood there and than said, "j..just me.." though why was she answering. She looked over at the guy across the street an stared. She smiled slightly, one of the most angelic smiles she could smile before walking in his direction, on the opposite side of the street. She was told never to talk to strangers and yet she was talking to someone she never met. She looked down at the ground and let out a sigh as she quickly looked over just in time to see a couple of guys rushing at her. As soon as they got to her she spread her wings and jumped in the air. Meiko had never seen anyone rush at anyone like that before. She just looked over her shoulder at the guys that were now laying on the ground.
Elric's disbelief was confirmed when the girl spread her wings and jumped into the air. He looked over at the guys that had been chasing her. Probably skirt chasers. He strolled across the street, removing his hands from his pockets.
"Why are you guys chasing her?" he asked, his voice threatening and dangerous. He really didn't like scum bags like these. He stood over them, his hands clenching into fists and then unclenching them.

She turned and just watched, the guys said, "n..no reason. We're gone." THey both took off in the opposite direction. "um..thank you sir, but I could have gotten rid of them myself." She smiled and lightly landed on the ground. her wings folded in behind her. "I'm meiko, and shall I get the name of my rescuer?" She asked holding out her hand.
Elric watched her for a moment before holding out his hand as well.
"My name's Elric Jenkins." he said, a smile of his own on his lips.
"It was nothing really. Guys like that should just crawl into a hole and rot." he added, feeling an anger at the thought of the sleeze bags.
"What are you doing here anyways?" he asked, wondering what an angel was doing in a dark city like this.

"Well...it was just for work, if you could call it that." She said looking up at the sky. She let out a sigh and than added, "Though...I'm not really sure anymore. This doesn't look anything like the city he described to me." She was described of a beautiful city that had all these wonderous buildings. She sighed and said, "I wish he would have given me the name of the city." She looked at him and said, "So what are you doing out so late?" She ahdn't yet realized that he was a vampire, though she could sence something was different about this man.
He let out a light laugh.
"You could say I'm a night owl." he said, a smile playing his lips again. After a moment he raised an eyebrow.
"Who is he?" he asked curiously.
[[*pokes brain again* T^T I need to wake up. XD Lol. Sorry for the shortness.]]

" 'he' is the guy in the sky, our lord.." She said with a slight smile, "Though sometimes me and him do see eye to eye." She laughed slightly. She looked around and said, "know any place where I can stay tonight?" She was just curious and wanted to know. She didn't want to be spending all night looking for somewhere to stay.
Elric rubbed the back of his neck.
"This city isn't very safe but I'm sure there's a hotel somewhere around here that would be good." he said, glancing down both ways of the street. He had the warehouse where him and his small coven lived.
"If you can't find a place to stay, let me know." he said, shoving his hands into his pockets again.

"Alright, but how will I find you? I don't even know where you live." She said as she folded her hands behind her. She tilted her head to the side and said, "Couldn't I just come with you and stay at your place...than in the morning find a place to stay for awhile?" She was just curious about that. she than looked back at her wings and said, "these could cause problems." She made them disappear in a puff of feathers and than said, "Soo...is it alright with you?" She looked more human now without the wings.
Elric was a bit surprised to hear her question. Would the others allow her to come stay for the night?....Maybe.....He took a deep breath.
"Alright but don't talk to any of the others." he warned before turning and heading for the abandoned warehouses near the edge of the city. He listened for her foot steps behind him.

She smiled and said, "Thank you." She than followed him her footseps ever so light that it sounded like no one was even following him. She was quiet on the way there not asking questions why they were going to some abandoned werehouses. She just looked around so she could memorize where he lived so if she needed any help later on she knew where to find him.
They reached his coven's warehouse and he held open the door for her. From the smell, it seemed like the others were still out. He lead her to his room, which was a bedroom like room with a couch, a small tv and a bed, though under the bed was his coffin.
"This is my room." he said, motioning for her to get comfortable.
