Jet increased her own pace, trying to stay reasonably far ahead of Will. Even though her scythe was pretty sturdy, she couldn't help but wonder if the crash had let to it somehow breaking.

William followed Jet to outside where Grell sat on the ground looking amazed at the collapsed wall just before him. Under the rubble, the handle of the scythe he'd been lent poked out.

Jet shuddered at the sight of the mess. She then sweatdropped when she caught sight of her scythe under the debris. "Uh...are you, alright?"

William didn't hide his unconcern for Grell but instead spoke with reprimand in his tone. "Grell--"
"William! Uhh...I know it looks bad, but I'll pay for it to be fixed...!"

Jet sighed heavily and scratched her head again. "Is it always like this here?" She took another look at the rubble and turned down to Grell. "Is this a talent of yours?"

((I really can't do Grell!!! D8 He's too flamboyant and I'm used to doing stoic characters xd And I don't know Kuroshitsuji as well as FMA either D: ))

William frowned down at Grell and turned away. "I want you out of my sight, Grell Sutcliff. Go wreak havoc elsewhere," he said with a harsh edge to his tone before walking away from the wreckage.
"Eeeeh! William! Wait a moment!" he exclaimed and jumped up to his feet, but before he was even able to take a step, the angry scythe that belonged to William was extended and the sharp pincer tips merely inches from the shinigami's face.
"Mr. Sutcliff, leave. I shall take care of the disaster you've caused," William commanded austerely, obliging Grell to nod silently and obey. William then retracted his scythe and went back to his office.

((You're doing fine though. And it's impossible to know as much about Kuroshitsuji as FMA because its not in english and there aren't anywhere near as many episodes of it.))

"You were right. He's not in a good mood." Jet tapped her fingers together and smiled nervously until Will was out of sight. She then directed her attention back to the rubble and her smile faded. "What did you do?"

(( D: But even so--!!! I read a few more Kuroshitsuji fanfics with Grell in to try and see how others wrote his character. I like the one where he's talking to William who's in his office and wants to be referred to as Ms. instead of Mr. xd ))

Grell slumped deflated and sighed. "I was just testing it out," he pouted apologetically. "But I didn't realise that I was so close to the wall, then..."

Jet sighed wearily. "Right. At least William didn't notice it."

"I tried to get it out so I started pulling on it, but then I heard a snap...," he said solemnly. "I don't know what's come of it now..."

"...What?! You...broke it?!"

"I said I didn't know! It could still be in tact!" he defended. "Oh, my, I wonder what Will will say when he sees it!" he said and put his hand to his chin as he looked up in thought.

Jet ran over to the hammer's handle and pulled at it. But it moved more than she would've expected, which suggested that the head was no longer attached. Her eye twitched slightly. Seriously, I have to work under this guy?

"I would help to lift it, but I almost damaged my nails when I tried before," he pouted and inspected said anatomy again, just double checking no damage did indeed come to them.

Twitch. "It is broken." She spoke through gritted teeth, ignoring Grell's last comment.
