Welcome to Gaia! ::

Winston also had is eyes closed, deep in prayer, then there was a thunk, followed by the motion of the knife as it moved towards Jet. However, rather than contacting her body, it rested just before her face on the floor, the handle free of the attacker who had held it so ritually for the past month. I was soon joined on the ground by Winston himself who was unconscious and bleeding from a head wound. Grell proceeded to hit the body with the metal rod, just to ensure his and Jet's safety.
"How...dare...you...threaten...my...face...!" he screamed angrily, pummelling the body with each word.
Jet slowly opened her eyes when she heard the killer's weapon fall infront of her. She then watched silently as the blurry, red image of the enraged shinigami bludgered all life out of the priest. When all signs of life seemed to have left what used to be Winston, she turned her attention to her superior. "Grell-san, that's enough!! Stop!!"
Grell stopped and sighed, placing rod on the ground along with the other weapon. "Ahh, Will's going to be ticked off when he finds out that I let you get injured," he wailed concernedly and pouted.
"It's not your fault. I should have been more careful." She sighed deeply. "How embarassing. On my first day of work too..."
"Even if you don't blame me, Will will." Grell released a weary sigh before picking up the knife. "I'll cut you free, but I'm sure I'll manage to screw that up, too..."
Jet laughed nervously. "Heh, please don't. There's enough blood splattered about as it is."
Grell continued to look dismal as he severed the ropes.
Once free, Jet shakily hauled herself up onto her feet. She stood precariously for a moment before losing what balance she had and stumbling forwards.
Grell too stood afterwards and discarded the knife, but when Jet stumbled, he held out his arms to catch the falling girl. "Jeez...what are we going to tell Will, really?"
"...I would have suggested lying..." She stared down blankly at her wrists. " It's too bad he's no fool..."
Grell pouted. "I know who can help us: Sebastian! And little Phantomhive will be indebted to us for catching this guy!" By now, a fond smile had replaced his pout.
"Wouldn't it be inconvenient? Dropping in on them at this time of night? Besides...it wasn't exactly catching him was it? More like screwing up terribly on my first day of work..."
"At night is the time when Sebastian loves seeing me most," Grell giggled. "And well there's no sense in fussing over it now! What's done is done, right?"
Jet sighed in defeat before re-adjusting her weight so that she was back to bearing all of it, though she was still stumbling about slightly. "...Right."
Grell sighed dramatically, not paying Jet much attention any more. "If only Sebastian were here to whisk me off my feet and save us both!"
