How does that relate to searching for a serial killer?? "Right...Should we get going then?" Jet stepped forwards a few times before twirling around to face Grell with an inviting smile.

Grell nodded and took one step forwards before stopping again and looking at Jet with a hopeful grin. "So, where do we look first?"

"Just follow me." Jet scratched the back of her neck and thought for a moment. "I wrote some possible spots down in my notebook. I think I remember where they were so we'll check those first. If they turn out to be no good though, you'll have to come up with something."

"Very well; where's the first location?" he asked, trying to put a lid on his excitement. |

"Not far at all really. Just on the other side of the park!" She beamed and pointed towards the trees just outside the Phantomhive grounds. ((Nothing was said about a park in the manga/anime, but I say there is one 3nodding )) |

Grell nodded his head and looked to where the girl pointed. "Then let's go!" he sang and skipped off with her, holding her hand. |

Jet nearly tripped when Grell pulled at her hand. She cringed slightly but shook it off and ran a little faster to keep up with Grell. While this was interesting, she couldn't figure out just why Grell was so excited about trying to track down a serial-killer. |

Grell's pace slowed as he neared the park and sighed. "So, shall we just wait around and see what happens?" |

"Do we have to? It's, kind of creepy around here at night." The two of them had spent so long chatting on the way that the sun had already set and it was getting dark pretty quickly. "Besides. We're supposed to be looking for a serial killer. Not waiting to be jumped by one!"

Grell thought for a second. "Well, if he came to us, wouldn't that make our jobs easier? How does one go about attracting a serial killer...?"

"How should I know?! It's a terrible idea anyway!" Regardless of whether she meant to or not, Jet was doing a pretty good job of drawing attention to herself.

Grell shushed the girl. "If we're too loud, it might scare him away! ...Or he might come looking for victims. What did you say his MO was?" He was getting excited about all of this, even using the police terms where he could.

"How would a serial killer get scared away by us?...Let me think." Jet closed her eyes tightly and ran a hand through her fringe, trying to think.

"What sort of people did he go after? What did they all have in common?"
|
|
|
|
"Urr...they were all women that, urr...Ah. Committed a sin of some sort. They had all 'sinned' in some way. A couple had committed fornication. Others had had abortions."
