Grell looked at the girl with wide eyes filled with glee. "Ehh! Who does this guy think he is, trying to better me at being Jack the Ripper?!" In truth, he had already been bettered, however. Even Grell wouldn't have been able to commit thirty murders in such a short space of time without being caught.

"Eh?! That was you?! That wasn't in the job description..." No one had cared to mention anything about her superior being a serial killer. It's not that it bothered her because it worried her, it was just that she would like to have been informed on such an important detail. "Hmm. I guess this guy has gone much further...Why did you stop if you don't mind me asking?"

Grell's eyes suddenly grew sullen and he shook his head. "...It was just a personal decision," he returned finally.

"Right. Hmm. We really should try to meet with this guy at some point. He was scheduled to die long ago..." Jet thought it best to leave it at that, considering Grell's reaction. Besides, it's rude to probe about a ladies past.

"All right! Let's go find him!" he said with determination in his tone.

"What, now? I guess we could but I'm not totally sure where we can find him..."

"All we need is determination and perseverance!!!" he sang and offered a thumbs up to Jet.

Jet shrugged her shoulders in defeat. "Alright, but I have no idea where to start. The victims were found all over the place."

"Are their being women the only common factor they shared?" Grell asked as he thought.

((A guy from Drakengard that I really like. He's good-looking, funny, and good with an axe. He's a real gentleman 4laugh ))

"Pretty much. The only other thing that's been recurring is the way that they were killed. There wasn't much skill involved in the way it was done though."

((Hmm, I can see why. I love a guy who's good at using his...axe.))

Grell scoffed distastefully. "What an amateur; sacrificing quality for quantity."

"I thought the same thing." Jet tilted her head to one side and thought. "I suppose we could try searching the centre of town. There wasn't much of a pattern, but if you examine everything carefully, it seems that most of the victims were found there." She concluded with a small smile, feeling more optimistic than before.

"Then there we shall begin our search! Of course, we won't just find him in broad daylight, meaning we'll have to have a stakeout!" he announced excitedly.

Grell pointed his finger accusingly at the girl. "One must make sacrifices sometimes," he lectured. "Like wearing shoes that deal the most discomfort upon ones feet but makes the wearer look absolutely stunning!"
