Jet coughed a few times and blinked heavily a few times. "...Your welcome..." Jet re-adjusted her glasses and straightened out her jacket, which was now quite wet in places thanks to Grell.

((When is this set btw?? After the Jack the Ripper cases ended? I want something interesting for them to look into. Maybe there's a new serial killer around xd ))

(( rofl Umm, there could be another serial killer, sure! And no doubt it'd catch Grell's intrigue! ))

"Okay! Now that all that's done, let's go look for new scythes! Ah, I mean,look for a scythe for me and get yours mended!"

((It's red. But then anything red would catch his attention whee Okay cool. Hmm, maybe Grell could have another near-death experience xd Or maybe both of them could wink ))

"Uh, okay. Say, what did your last scythe look like, or, how many regulations did it break?"

Grell sighed wistfully. "It was the best! A large, red chainsaw," he giggled as he reminisced.

((Hehe okay. I wonder when they should run into him then *thinks* Hey wait. No one called it a chainsaw in the anime. They don't even know what a chainsaw is at that time! Please explain))

"Eh? What's that?" Jet was intrigued having never heard of such a thing.

((Ah, did they not? D: What was it called?! gonk ))

"A beautiful piece of modern art! A saw with teeth as sharp as my own driven by a motor in a rotational motion which cuts through even the strongest material without a problem! Simply exquisite! I miss it so much!" Grell's words have been filled with enthusiasm but that emotion died down when he remembered that he and his beloved scythe had been parted.

((They all just referred to it as a scythe. It doesn't have another name xp Hey wait. Maybe while they're out 'scythe hunting' one of them can be captured by the serial killer whee I really wanna stick with that idea, but I think I'd make a terrible serial killer >.< ))

"Power from rotation?...That's genius! Why didn't I think of that?! And, you modified it all by yourself??"

Grell nodded with pride. "Sure did! But it's not like it matters any more..."

"Ooo, that's pretty impressive." Jet grinned up at him whilst trying to picture just how the scythe would look and operate. "Hmm. Maybe I could add something similar to my scythe...That is, after we find a new one for you of course."

Grell nodded enthusiastically and twirled. "I'm going to stay optimistic and hope for a scythe that was even better than my last!"

"Right. But where are you going to find a scythe like that? Nothing like that is allowed in our realm, and I'm pretty sure that the humans haven't developed anything like that. Not to mention the fact that you'd look rather suspicious looking for a scythe like that right now..."

Grell's once high spirits plummeted. "No need to crush my hopes like that...," he pouted.

"I'm not crushing anything. I was just thinking. The authorities around here haven't been able to stop that serial killer yet. You wouldn't want them to think that it's you would you?"

Grell looked to the girl with interest. "Serial killer...?" he said questioningly. Now that he thought about it, he had heard something about a serial killer, but he hadn't paid too much heed to it; he'd been more concerned with his summons to see Will at the time.

"Haven't you read the reports? Many faces from the library are looking into it. He's made thirty-nine kills in as many days. But he only goes for women it seems..."
