[Private Roleplay] Before The Storm...

[Xane Nightwing]

Xane walks along a desolate rooftop, looking down at the street below, searching for some form of life, when he spots a park with some kids. "Hey! more people!" it was then that he felt the building shake and saw a cloud of dust fly out of the second story window. "Uh, oh best be getting off of this rooftop" Xane quickly ran accross the other buildings to the fire escape, leaping gaps like, well, a cat. As he jumped down the escape, he noticed that there were more explosions coming from the park. "Well, I might as well check this out."

[Schar Minamoto]

Schar was now in a nice little crater. his glasses were knocked off revealing his auburn red eyes. the his family katana was blow out of the sheath and was next to him, and Da Meat Grindah was broken into the 2 blade scythes. Schar got up and brushed himself off. "well. theirs the bounty hunter." Then Schar lifted up his shirt and saw a burn mark that went from the lower part of his stomach to about the mid. "hmmm i guess the lightning bolt defended me a bit." Schar put his shirt down, sheathed his sword and fixed Da Meat Grindah. then he slowly walked out of the crater and started to run back to where he was.

Kill Roy analyzed the gun the boy was carrying. "chaos data. . . Has been copied." then his arm left arm shifted into the same kind of gun that the boy was holding. "you will all be destroyed if you get in my way." Roy open fired at the people around him. "My scanners will indicate that you are dead!" he started moving about firing his pulse Lazar cannons, and firing the copied weapon which was now in the form of a shoulder cannon.

[Uh-oh Its Arroyo]

Aric scoffed once more. "No matter." He barrels on the vulcan started to rotate slowly as it warms up. " Schar was it? I'll take care of the weapons it has alright?" He grinned in satisfation as he fired a barrage of bullets at the mech's shoulder cannon and lazar cannon at the same time, leaping sideways to dodge the lazer it fired. "Don't worry, I have a few tricks up my sleeves for protection."

Arroyo watched the mech carefully and sighs. "I hate confrontations..." He kept a careful watch of the battle from afar and analyzed his surroundings incase anything bad happens.

[Schar Minamoto]

Schar nodded. then he leaped up from where he was standing onto a building, he bounced off it and came down on top of the kill Roy. "time to go back where you came from!" Schar ripped the armor plating off of the shoulder revealing the hand of the human inside. Schar gasped in surprise. 'OMIGOSH! hey! Aric! be careful! their is a person in this robot!" Schar pondered for a second then he realized something. "these robots aren't just using solar power to run. . . they are using human bodies!" Schar the used a quick blade rush with his sword to remove the left arm of the kill Roy unit. then he quickly jumped off of it.

The kill Roy screeched in pain. the screech from the audio projector was at a frequency that would make ears bleed. then it got angry, and charged! It used its rapid fire pulse cannon to shoot dust and debris into the air. then it slammed its robot fist into Arroyo sending him into a trash can. but the punch wasn't strong enough to break any major bones. After the punch the robot started to glow the same color of the dark storm clouds. the eyes on the helmet changed from red to purple, for in some weird circumstance the left arm Schar cut off started to regrow like a materialization. "you see humanoids, I too can use the storm's power! MWA HA HA HA HA HA!!!" the robot continued laughing in an unemotional voice.

As Xane reaches the edges of the park, he slows down and jumps onto a fence. looking over at the battle ensuing, he wonders... who's on whose side? I want to end up aligning myself with the good guys...it seems that the guy with the gun-arm knows about science. i bet he's one of these...researchers...better keep watching him... [when text is in purple and italicized, Xane is thinking]

[Uh-oh Its Arroyo]

"What?!" Aric was surprised that Schar wanted to not hurt the person he was being hunted down by. "You crazy?! He's trying to kill us?" Aric groaned a bit and sees what was happening to Kill Roy. [********] He quickly raised his gun up again and fired his bullets at the rematerializing arm to slow down the process of it coming back. "Hurry! Finish him!"

Arroyo's ears perked up at what he heard and stayed back, standing infront of Mika. "If things get bad...I want you to run alright?' He kept his eyes focused on Killroy from afar. Right...how the hell would you take down this...this mechanical nightmare... He sighed slightly at his thoughts.

[Schar Minamoto]

"i don't want to kill the person inside because. . . well i will tell you AFTER we power this thing down!" Schar leaped again at the robot. he used Dah Meat Grindah to rip apart the solar cables connected to the robot.

Kill roy flinched at the attack.

Then Schar came in for another attack, he sliced into the flight pack on the back of the unit.

Kill Roy stopped moving from the attack. Then the flight pack activated and it blasted him about 5 or 6 miles near the center of the main city.

"whew. that was a close one"

Mika, who has been absolutely silent for the past few minutes of the battle, shakes her head at Arroyo's request. "I can't do that. My mentor always told me that running is not the answer. Standing and fighting is what will give me the best results, or at least that's what he thinks. I swear, it's usually the booze talking and not actually him, but I can't disobey him. I will fight if necessary," she says defiantly. She gracefully lifts her right hand and holds it in front of herself, as if to say "stop" to the giant mech in the park. She turns to Arroyo. "I've never tried this before, but it's worth a shot," she says cooly, as she attempts to gather as much of her power in the center of her hand as possible.

[Uh-oh Its Arroyo]

Arroyo pulled back on Nika's idled arm and sees the mech fly away. "Huh I guess we won." He smiled and looks over at Aric.

Aric smiled at the temporary victory Schar committed. "That oughta buy us some sweet time...but next time don't call the bounty hunter to you." He didn't bother to put away his gun, incase more happens. "Well... We should probably head to a tall building. I need to launch a weather balloon to gather data from the antimana storm."

Looking rather put-out, Mika resentfully lowers her hand and allows her energy to flow normally again. "So it would seem," she says with a sigh. She had so been looking forward to blasting that giant hunk of machinery with all she had, but was denied the chance.

[Schar Minamoto]

Schar spun his sword over his head then slid it into it's sheath. "lets! i know their is a 50 story apartment complex near here." Schar didn't explain his respect towards the human race but he just ran over to where the complex was. "over here!"

the 7 miles away the kill Roy was on the ground in flames. "unnnnnit. mal-mal-malfunction." the same thing that fixed it's arm before started rebuilding the unit from its head down to its feet. the person inside the robot was also healed to full health and gained some power. but the kill Roy needed to collect solar energy before it moved again, so it sat in the crater for a while

"Well, there's no point in standing around here, now is there?" Mika asks Arroyo after a moment or two. This time, she does the leading as she carefully makes her way back towards the park's center.

[Uh-oh Its Arroyo]

Arroyo shrugged and followed her back to Aric and Schar. He overheard what Schar said and followed Aric whom was following Schar. "It's a bit of a way. We might run into trouble" Arroyo suggested, as soon as a gang of thugs came out of the shadows, banging their metal pipes in their hands as they casually walked out of the alley. "...you guys must be tired from that fight...why not leave it to me...I mean you can't have ALL the fun...right?" Arroyo suggested as he readies his peculiar sword at hand.

after watching the robot fly into the distance, Xane stars to run over towards the group on all fours. when almost there, he notices they're starting to walk off towards the center of the park. he yells after them HEY!! WAIT UP!!

Now this was the rush Mika was waiting for. "Don't hog all the fun. What ever happened to ladies first?" she chides in, as she steps forward, her hand starting to glow again. She wasn't going to hit them with a full-out attack, but she still wanted to try the new spell her mentor had recently taught her.
