"Strike three however... you're s**t out of luck there pal." Arc found his gaze on her once more, that comment had, had a little bite to it, and inside, it pleased him. He would never really admit it out loud by her firey tougne was what drew him to her. He could do crazy, after all, It was him, crazy was just a normal part of life. His eyes drawn back to the painting for a moment. Actually studying it when he voice sounded behind him.
Glancing over his shoulder he smiled, ever so faintly." She does indeed, does the trait run through the whole family?" Arc asked, Now studying her face, and her dull eyes. For just a moment, they held a flicker of life. It made Arc hopeful. He wasn't sure why he was hopeful, after all she was just a girl right? By why did she bother him so much.. He forced those thoughts from his head, they where pointless really, even if... His gaze fell to the steaming mug she held. He took it, his hands purposly brushing against hers for a longer amount of time than needed. He looked away. " thank you" he said politley. He was surprised, he felt uncommonly calm, and relaxed at the moment.
Leaning against a couch he took a sip of his green tea, as he watched her, move across the counters, cleaning them. He himself, as well was not very good at small talk, never had tried before. After all most of his interactions with women, were either Buisness or Intamite. In one case you talked about what needed to be done, in other interactions, there wasn't much talking to be had during the process, it was a bit distractable. Yet he sat there wondering how to start a conversation with this blond beauty. Perhaps he should have taken lessons from his brother, whom was far more romanticaly bold than he.
Arc lowered the cup watching her freeze over the counter, her eyes closed slightly. He wasn't sure what possessed him to do so, but he found himself gliding over to her, setting his cup down, and placing his hand on top of hers, before bringing her into his body, in a hug. His jaw tightened. what was he doing, he hated holding girls, and hugs.. and close interactions, well other than a good romp... even though he was questioning him self, his mind felt clear, like he knew it was what he wanted, he wanted that close contact with someone.. Perhaps he longed for it. Whatever it was he just gave in and held her. It felt like electricity was jumping between them.. he let her go.. he wasn't sure what that had been,It hadn't felt bad, it had actually felt quiet amazing,But Arc was sure he was imagining the feeling: and he looked down and mumbled an apology. He took his cup again, and stared down at the steaming green liqiuid. What the hell was that... This was stupid, he was acting like a moron. After all this, he still had not thought of one good thing to start a normal conversation..
