Continuation--

He pulled away and sat on the edge of the bed instead. He took out a stick of his favorite brand cigarette and lighted it anyway despite the child beside him. Clarence stared out the window again, it was his favorite thing to do. It was his hobby.

"It's unfair, huh?" He puffed and added, "Why didn't you stop me from kissing you? Aren't you a guy?"
Louise sighed in relief when the demon pulled away from him. He stared down at his lap and stayed silent, feeling awkward.

"it's unfair....this won't be easy on me...but I don't really want to kill anyone.." he whispered, sadness in his voice. He wanted to prove that he's 'something' in the angelic community so he accepted the hunter job....but since he couldn't bring himself to kill, he would be considered as a failure - a tittle much more worst than wimp.

The demon's other statement made the angel even more confused. "What do you mean? I'm a guy!" he defended.
Clarence must be out of his mind for asking such questions. He felt fine this morning-- he did, he was well and sound. What the hell was he doing now? How could he ask someone so young something troubling, even kiss him for consolation.

"If you can't kill then it's useless." He frankly pointed out, "You're too kind. That's your problem. And because you're young. Not that I'm making fun of you, Kid. If you don't get yourself to kill those that you need to kill, then you're just a hindrance to others."

Now, he was persuading him. Something was terribly wrong with him.

"And real guys usually push those guys that kiss them. Common instinct."
A hindrance....That word made Louise go down in depression. It's true, he's too much of a sissy to kill demons - his natural enemy. Who was he kidding? Why dd he even bother signing up for the job....

The angel sighed and nodded. "You're probably right....I'm just a big burden. Maybe it's better if they just banished me from heaven and send me to hell" he muttered, clenching his fist slightly.

"A common instinct? but I'm a real guy....and you're too big and strong for me to push away" Now he was making excuses, even though he didn't really mind the demon kissing him. Sometimes, Louise questions his own judgment...
He heard his answer but Clarence wanted him to be sure. He took another inhale of intoxicating smoke, blowing it out of his mouth after seconds of keeping it in. The demon laid down on the bed and stared at the ceiling above him.

"You'll make a great demon...all I need to do is to turn you." He uttered, "After that-- you're mine." He quietly admitted.
Is it possible for angels to be demons? Louise never heard of that before....perhaps Clarence was just joking around. Anyways, what choice did he have left? He was sure that he'll die the moment that he refuses the demon....and he didn't want to face everybody in heaven anymore.

And did Clarence really wanted him to be his? What did he mean by that? He's getting a little confused. Louise just stared down at the demon and nodded slowly.
Clarence smiled and trailed the tip of his finger up the side of the boy's neck. He was getting old-- maybe a little too desperate to have that kind of feeling with an angel. But truly, Louise was different from his previous someone, much wiser and older. But he was still his angel.

"A bite here." He said, gently poking the area worth sinking his fangs in. "What do you say? Do you want me yours?"

Too serious.

Dead serious.
Louise tilted his head to the demon, he just stared at him with his expression mixed up with several emotions. So the demon will just bite him one time? then in just one instance, he'll lose everything as an angel? That didn't sound fun though.

It took the angel quite some time to make up his mind. Mind you, it's not easy to decide if you're going to betray your race for a complete stranger.....
"you.....won't abandon me once I do this....right?" he needed to make sure, since he will abandon heaven, he'll have nowhere else to go but to this demon before him.
"How can I prove it to you then?"

Clarence sat up, held the kid around his neck as he revealed good skin to bite. He waited for the right response. The kid was trusting him this much-- if all went well, he'd be taking home a new demon.

The elders can scold him anytime, Louise comes first.

"I promise you that I won't abandon you as long as you promise you won't leave my side for someone else."
It was confirmed then? Louise's mind was set....somehow. He'd have to trust this demon if he'll be spending eternity with him, despite his angelic instincts screaming for him to reject his offer and die with honor.

"I promise I won't leave you for someone else..." he replied truthfully. Who would be that someone else?

Louise's heard was pounding hard, almost as though it would break out of his rib cage. He closed his eyes and nodded, trying to prepare himself.
Contract done.

Clarence licked the lad's neck and bit slowly, intentionally making it painful for him. He drank two mouthful of his blood and pulled back saying, "You'll be needing blood like me--it'll hurt a bit...endure it."

He watched him fade aura, he watched him die and be reborn.

It was the first time he fished in an angel in his arms, someone who was so obedient to him despite being strangers to both. If only she was like him--
Louise squinted his eyes and gasped as the demon sank his fangs in his neck, breaking the skin and drawing blood. He felt a little lightheaded as the demon extracted and drunk his blood. So this is what death feels like? And he never thought that he'll go through it....given that he's an angel and considered 'immortal by humans'.

He went limp after that, and his vision was getting blurry. He could barely hear the demon's voice, though he did hear him say 'endure it'. ''Wow, he really knows how to comfort someone.....'' The angel thought sarcastically.
It was working perfectly.

Clarence cradled the boy in his arms as his hand ran through his golden locks. He watched him lose pure eyes into blood red orbs. It was time to put him to sleep, he gave the boy another kiss that sucked what was left of his consciousness.

"Time for you to go to bed."
Louise could feel himself slowly lose his consciousness, his whole being slowly consumed by the darkness that was once his enemy. It felt comforting for him now, and he didn't feel scared. He knew that when he wakes up, he'll be living a new life entirely different from his previous. He was excited, yet nervous.

After the demon kissed him, he fell asleep completely, snuggling up in Clarence's arms like a toddler.
They were both lying on the bed as the whole room was protected form the sun. Clarence was deeply asleep, still having an arm around Louise's fragile body. It was morning. The sun was their worst enemy for now.

His head was buried against the child's neck, he was cold but secured.
