"Carry him inside," Mustang counter commanded before going to the door and attempting to open it, but failing. "Lieutenant Hawkeye, can you open the door?"
Hawkeye allowed herself to smile slightly before unlocking the door of the of the van. The lieutenant started sulking as the colonel had beaten him, again. He was starting to get withdrawl symptoms having not had a cigarette in a while now.
Mustang climbed out of the van then turned back around. "Carry Havoc out," he instructed.
The whole van lowered down until it was nearly touching the ground as the major stepped out. He managed to avoid hitting Havoc's head this time. Hawkeye proceeded to enter the hospital and raised the immidiate attention of the staff. "Sir, the staff can treat you and the lieutenant right away. Should we get going?"
Mustang nodded his head wordlessly then began walking towards the large building, leading the way for the lesser-ranked who accompanied him. He was determined to get the finest doctor for Havoc also, after all, grief would affect Havoc's performance which would affect him.
A trainee nurse led the group down many of corridors until they came to one 'Ward 37' and took them into one of the larger rooms. She then requested that they wait for a moment until the pair of doctors that were on their way arrived. "How is your head Sir?" enquired Hawkeye.
Roy rubbed his head instinctively then sighed. "It's just painful because I hit it when I fell and that's all. I'm fine, really."
Havoc glanced over to the colonel as the two doctors entered the room. "You've gone pale and your shivering. You could have caught anything down there..."
"But I didn't. All I've done is hit my head," he insisted. He was feeling a little ill, but it wasn't something he was prepared to readily admit to the doctors, nor himself.
The major finally put the lieutenant down and, using Armstrong's shoulder to steady himself, Havoc managed to stand up right. One of the doctors then led him aside and began examining his arm. The pain that had faded before returned, but worse this time. Havoc started prancing around and screaming and generally being overly dramatic as it picked up again. Hawkeye sighed heavily and signalled for the other doctor to examine the colonel.
Roy raised an eyebrow as he watched the man flit around the room, but when he saw the other doctor approaching him, his brows knitted into a tight frown. "I don't need an examination," he insisted once more. "A bath and a change of clothes, perhaps, but not a doctor. I'm probably pale and shivering because I'm cold and my clothes are soaked through, not to mention being shirtless thanks to making a tourniquet for that guy," he sighed and tugged at the damp jacket that was the only thing covering his torso.
"With respect..." Hawkeye countered and turned to the doctor, "...our superior requested that you treat the colonel. I have the note if need it..." She drew a sinister looking piece of paper and handed it to the doctor who examined it carefully.
Mustang glowered at the note. "What? Who ordered this--?!" he enquired but a cough came just about after the man had finished speaking, cutting any more words he might have had off.
"I knew it. You are sick." Hawkeye took the note back from the doctor and turned to face Mustang with a triumphant look in he eyes.
"I coughed; that doesn't make me sick," he retorted as he looked back at her challengingly.
