"I don't know. Maybe because we let our guard down. Well, yes I made an error in judgement but like I told you, I'd had a lot on my mind lately." Jean retorted.

[Princess Noshwash]

"Remind me what this 'lot' on your mind was again," Roy ordered apathetically.

[LilyVanVamp]

Jean grimaced at the thought before forcing himself to choke up a reply. "...I...broke up with my girlfriend..."

[Princess Noshwash]

Roy looked at the man flatly. "...You broke up with your girlfriend...or she broke up with you?"

[LilyVanVamp]

Jean buried his face in his hand and groaned unhappily. "She...broke up with me..."

[Princess Noshwash]

Roy nodded his head. "That sounds about right. That's still no excuse for causing your commanding officer to fall down a hole."
"If it was against your better judgement, sir, then you just shouldn't have jumped at the time," Hawkeye volunteered.

[LilyVanVamp]

"That's what I said. You complain to me about coming up with such a stupid idea, but if you thought it was dumb, why did you jump?"

[Princess Noshwash]

"Because you said you'd catch me and I made the mistake of trusting you," Roy glared in return.

[LilyVanVamp]

"I did catch you..." Jean retorted. "How was I to know that that particular part of the ground would collapse at that precise moment?"

[Princess Noshwash]

Roy sighed heavily. "Anyway, there's no sense in us arguing over this; what happened, happened. We fell and there's no changing that."

[LilyVanVamp]

"Right...I need another coffee." Jean concluded, trying to force the memory of being dumped (yet again) out of his mind.

((Hey, who has who, out of Fuery, Bredda and Falman? I think you took Fuery...so should I take Falman? You'll have to give a shout if I'm out of character.))

Roy looked back at his work and sighed. "Make it two, if you choose to."

[LilyVanVamp]

"Mmhm." Jean nodded and stood up to get some more coffee, as he wasn't likely to have the chance as soon as the others arrived.

[Princess Noshwash]

Roy muttered a thanks as he glanced over the next sheet of his work as if perusing it, however he didn't take in a single word of what his eyes scanned over.

Jean sluggishly made his way down the corridor, turning to spot Falman, Fuery and Bredda head towards the office. He sighed deeply before turning back and continuing toward the break out room, trying to squander as much time as possible.

((Should Roy fall asleep while Jean is gone, and then they have an awkward moment when he gets back?))
