Roy quickly gave up the ghost in fighting them off, not having the energy to whatsoever. He didn't answer the blonde trio which accompanied him, or rather whom he accompanied.
"It's not all it's cracked up to be is it?" Havoc questioned the colonel. "Being carried about like that." He smiled broadly, trying to ignore the stinging in his arm which he had been holding since the group had left the hospital.
Mustang directed a glare in Havoc's direction. Snarky comments from the blonde Second Lieutenant was the last thing he wanted to hear right at that moment. "Just take me home then return to your duties," he commanded the three.
After that no one spoke a word until they reached Mustang's appartment. Before letting him down, the major hugged the colonel and crushed him again. "Sir, promise us that you will get some rest!"
The tight hug forced all of the air from Roy's lungs. "O-okay!" he wheezed.
The major then set him down and let him breath. "Come on, we need to take the Lieutenant home...or maybe we should stay to make sure that the Colonel gets to sleep okay." Hawkeye patted the colonel on the shoulder and smiled. Armstrong and Havoc smiled down at him too.
Mustang coughed a few more times before turning his back on the three and searching his pockets for his keys, only to come out empty-handed. "Damn it! I must have dropped them in the sewers or something," he concluded then sighed heavily.
The smiling expressions on the trio's faces slipped away. On hearing this, Havoc instinctively delved into his own pocket to feel for his keys. When he found them he put his hand to the colonels shoulder and spun him around. "You'll just have to stay at my place then."
Roy looked at the blonde with a surprised expression. "Really? Are you sure? Is there room enough for me to stay?"
"Sure. What else are you gunna do?" Havoc twitched slightly as his arm was still stinging pretty badly. He shook it off and tried to smile again.
"Then thank you, Havoc. I can help you with your arm, anyway," he added as the corners of his lips curled slightly.
"You can?" Havoc enquired. "You can?" Hawkeye and Armstrong echoed.
"Well I don't mean heal it, but I can help out with things that might be difficult. I could cook, for example," Roy elaborated.
"Oh...Of course. Yeah that would be great...So should we get going? You and the Major can go home now if you want Lieutenant." Hawkeye glanced up at the major and he grinned. "We'll stay with you until you get back."
