Galena couldn't believe they had failed again. Even with having the two strongest hunters there. She got up with Vald's help and they got there horses and once more returned to the castle they ignored the chaos that seemed to happen while they were gone. They walked up to where the king was and kneed before him not saying anything. The fact that they were there without the faerie king was enough to show their failure.

The king saw the two of them walk in with out the faerie king and roared out in anger before kicking the two of them directly in the face with his steel toed boots. He was already furious about the attack and these two failures walk in. He grabbed his sword and shoved it through the half breeds shoulder before kicking him back and shoving it through him completely so it stuck in the floor which was hard to do see as how it was concrete. He turned to Gelana and kicked her but this time in the stomach making her fail back. He didn't usually do anything to her because of what she was but he was furious enough to do. "You dare return to me empty handed? This is two failed missions in a row. He was defenseless and weaponless! How in the hell do you come back without him?!" He repeatedly kicked her in the side breaking ribs in the process. "You are stripped of all your rank as both a hunter and as royalty. You are no better than a common whore now. You will move out of the palace and into the servants quarters after I am finished with you. If and only if I ever forgive you will you return to your hunter status." He stomped on her right hand breaking it knowing that was her best hand. He kicked her in the face once more before turning to the half breed and ripping the sword out of him and kicking him in the shoulder dislocating it and then his hip as well. "GET OUT OF MY SIGHT NOW!" He shouted at them.

Galena cried out as he crushed her hand. She laid there as Vald and her practically supported each other as they left the castle. Galena collapsed to her knees once they were outside and got up with the help of Vald. She stared as everyone moved around as Vald and her began to slowly leave the castle.

Riley stared in horror as the two of them limped out of the castle she raced up to them concern written all over her face. "Gelana? Vald? What is going on? What happened to the two of you?"

-switch to Irial-

Irial had finally begun to heal after a few hours and thanked the faerie gods for that. The wounds itched and burned something fierce like. He stared down at his chest tracing the very light pink scars that were left behind from her sword and her claws. He would get his vengenance and it would be swift and merciful. He had locked himself in his study as a mini tornado burst through the room that was being fueled by his emotions. He had completed the ritual and was at his strongest ever once more.

Galena looked up at her, their faces where blooded up. It hurt to breath and her right hand just laid at her side. You could tell Vald was in pain just by standing. He was slowly healing but it wasn't as fast as a full blooded faerie. Galena placed her good hand on Riley's shoulder. "We'll be leaving the group in your care." They started walking again as they were passing by she whispered to Riley to get get out of this situation of her being a hunter as they walked their way to the servants courters.

Riley stared at their retreating back and realized where they were going. She frowned at Gelana's words and knew that she couldn't. If she did her family would be disgraced. She watched to the of them sadly but turned to go help clean up the mess before she was summoned to the king where he promoted her to Captain and gave her two new hunters along with Layla as the group she would be in charge of. She didn't want this. It was Gelana's position or maybe even Layla's but surely not hers. She thanked the King before scurrying out of the room feeling dirty just by the way he was looking at her.

-fast forward a month-

Since then Galena was forced to become a bar maid. Men forced themselves on her on a daily occurrence but there was nothing she could do about it. Though she had her sword it was useless to her now. It had been dulled down and she was unable to use her hand. It was poorly wrapped still and still hurt a lot. It made her clumsy around the bar which got her beaten often.

-Switch to Vald-

Vald had fully healed in a little over a day. He was still kept around the King as a personal servant doing whatever the man had wanted.

-Switch to Layla-

Layla was shocked to hear what had happened and angered as well. But she had to swallow her anger and continue on with the hunts.

-Switch to Megan-

Because of Galena's and Vald's removal from the group Megan now had to go on missions a lot more than she use to. She wished there was a way she could help them but knew it was all up to the King.

-Switch to Ria-

Ria had continued to guard the prince. When he would sneak off almost every night she would await his return and all together she stopped talking to him. She was seething with anger. He was going to be the death of her.

Irial had laid traps for the girl to catch him or any other faerie but still she never came. It was like she had vanished from the face of the earth, but he knew that was not true. Something had happened to her that was keeping her from coming out.

-switch to Riley-

Riley hated that Megan had been forced to join their hunts. She tried her best to keep the girl out of harms way as much as possible but sometimes it was inevitable. The king was still furious with Galena and because their group was her friends they were being punished because of it. They were sent out day and night to hunt only being allowed a few hours to rest before they were sent out again. She didn't know how much longer she or her group could take it.

-switch to Devlin-

Devlin and his little group of followers had not returned to the human kingdom for a while they had been to busy out dealing with the human villages near their kingdom that had banded together and were attacking on a daily basis. They had even recruited some hunters for the fight. Devlin still thought about sinking his teeth into the little medic he met a few weeks ago.

-switch to Grant-

Grant and his kingdom had stayed out of most affairs lately. Though he did send a regiment of his men to help squash the rebellion the vampires were having but other than that it was relatively quite for his people and he was growing bored of it. He needed adventure he needed to get out of the kingdom before he grew mad. He was still actively searching for the lost book of magic but was coming to dead ends on every lead.

-switch to Brody-

Brody knew what he was doing by sneaking out every night was wrong but he couldn't stop himself. And every night he would return Ria would be there. She had all together stopped speaking to him and even refused to talk to him. He was growing annoyed by it. He told her that he didn't need her standing post outside the walls while he was gone but she refused.

Galena was taking out the trash, the only task she couldn't fail at when a drunk man from the pub pinned her to a wall. She tried to fight back until the man painfully gripped her right hand. Tears threatened to fall from the pain as he just began to roam his hands over her.

-Switch to Layla-

Layla geared up as they had gotten another mission this night. The group was exhausted and they were becoming sluggish in battle. If they kept this up the king would kill all of his best hunters by his own anger.

-Switch to Megan-

Megan packed more medical supplies than she use to. Because she wasn't getting the rest and nutrients she needed, she couldn't use her healing powers as much. She then went to the place where she was to meet up with the other hunters.

-Switch to Ria-

Ria was once more guarding the prince as it was now the time to turn in for the night.

Riley had just left her room after wrapping her ribs. It felt like a few of them were broken. She had been told a few hours ago that they were getting sent out on another mission and had went to the king and pleaded with him to let them have at least one day to rest. She had only received a beating in return and was ordered to head out immediately. She tried to hide her pain from them all giving them a fake smile but couldn't hide the bruises that dotted her face. She frowned as she saw how battle worn and exhausted they were. She could continued to fight for them to get days off they deserved it. They had not had a day off in an entire month and had not failed a single one of their missions but she knew if they were pushed any harder they were going to and the worst outcome was that they would lose one of their members.

-switch to Brody-

Brody decided he wasn't going to go out tonight. He was tired of the look of pure hatred Ria held for him though she tried to hide it from him. He laid in his bed wondering how he could get her to like him. He didn't know why it bothered him that she hated him but it did.

Galena finally went back to work like as if she wasn't just raped outside. She grimaced as she was told that she had to make a delivery of fine alcohols to the king. She grabbed it and unfortunately had to use both hands since there were two. She made her way to the castle and paused for a moment as she saw her old group with two new members to replace Vald and her. She could tell they were worn down and she only had herself to blame as she continued her walk to the castle.

-Switch to Megan and Layla-

They both just gave Riley a group hug. They held her as Layla petted her hair. They were thankful that she tried so hard for them but they didn't want to see her even more hurt than the injuries they were obtaining from the battles.

-Switch to Ria-

Ria waited as she made sure that tonight the prince was planning to stay in. She then transformed and took a run through the forest relieving some stress.

The guard that always used to rape her and torture her was waiting for her outside the king's personal quarters. He took the alcohol from her and gave it to another servant before leering at her. "Oh how the mighty have fallen." He grabbed her and threw her against the wall ripping open her dress and pulling down his pants and slamming into her. He never lasted very long and it was only probably fifteen minutes that he had her before he came inside of her but he had made sure to claw bite and bruise any part of her body he came in contact with. Especially on her nether regions.

-switch to Riley-

Riley couldn't help the tears that fell from her eyes as they hugged her. She wrapped her arms around them both even if it hurt to do so. She always felt like such a failure when it came to them. She couldn't do anything for them.


-switch to Brody-

Brody had been wandering around the castle when he saw her leaving the servants quarters and take off into the forest. He rose an eyebrow in question and it was his turn to wait for her to return. Though other guards kept a watchful eye on him the entire time which he rather disliked.

Galena pushed him aside after he was done before she took off running. She just needed to get away for some time. She ran outside of the castle grounds as she held the front of her dress together the best she could with one hand. She didn't have her sword on her since she had been working and there was no need for it then. She didn't stop till she reached a stream.

-Switch to Layla-

Layla pulled back and smiled at her, "You're a great friend but we don't like seeing you hurt either." With that she gathered their horses and hopped on her own, waiting to follow Riley.

-Switch to Ria-

Ria had gone running and she didn't come back till she was sweating. She transformed and walked out of the forest. She glanced at him before heading towards the gate. Her skin was glistening in the moonlight.

Irial had been enjoying the peace and quiet of the stream when it was interrupted by pounding feet. He was once more trying to complete the ritual. His eyes narrowed when it was her. The little princess he had been waiting for. He went to grab his sword when he noticed the state she was in and cautiously walked towards her. He had a dagger tucked into his belt that he kept his hand on in case this was a trap. "What are you doing here?"

-switch to Riley-

Riley smiled as Layla read her mind once more and gingerly got on her horse leading them to their destination. They were hunting down a group of rogue vampires that were said to be camping out here. She hated vampires especially at night. She had stocked up on extra flares and handed them out to the group before they started searching for the vampires.

-switch to Brody-

Brody's eyes widened when he saw the state in which she came back in. He could not help it as his eyes roamed over every part of her. She was a lot..well hotter..than he had originally admitted to himself.

Galena quickly turned and her eyes widened in shock at him being there. She was already out of breathe but she turned on her foot and began running away from him. She couldn't fight him now, especially since she didn't have her sword.

-Switch to Ria-

Ria grabbed her hair with her hands and lifted it so it would stop sticking to her body. She then dropped her hair and reached the gate. She looked over at the prince and was waiting for him to enter the castle.
