Welcome to Gaia! ::

Riley frowned at her. She had heard that story a lot. People being forced to join the hunters against there own will. "I'm sorry Layla..I really am..." She looked down at the ground and then back up at her, "Have you thought of ever buying your freedom. I have heard that you can.."

-switch to Irial-

Irial cursed lightly and dodged her attacks. He had absolutely no weapons on him. His people had found that having any kind of metal on them staunched the flow of energy to them so when they were doing this ritual of sorts they stripped down to the barest of things. He searched the area quickly still defending himself. He saw the guards sword but Vald was sitting right next to it. He kicked out at the girl before launching at Vald grabbing the sword before rolling away and standing up. "You blindly fight for a man that abuses you, that abuses the very earth he lives in. Why?!" He was sick of this girl already and he absolutely hated being around Vald.

-switch to Devlin-

Devlin crawled through the hole in the wall the next day but this time bringing a few reinforcements. He figured it was time to give the humans a little wake up call that they weren't as safe as they thought behind there walls and wards. He told his vampires to attack whoever they wanted but to make sure they did not caught. He himself had a pretty little morsel in mind. He quickly made his way to the medical clinic figuring she was there.
Layla laughed at her words and shook her head. "Do you think they would really let one of their best hunters with no name just simply go?" Whereas Riley had a chance to quit because of her family Lalya didn't have that.

-Switch to Galena-

Galena continued to chose not to answer. It's not like she really had a choice anyways. He was her father, the king, and the only one she knew might be able to find someone to uproot her curse. She ignored him and launched herself at him. Her strikes were stronger than last time now that she didn't have to really worry about hurting him or not. She kept getting shallow cuts on him.

-Switch to Megan-

Megan had just finished with a difficult surgery. After she made sure the man was going to live she washed away the blood before leaving the room, giving some of the staff information on how to take care of him over the next few days.
Riley sighed and nodded knowing she was right. She tried to lighten the subject somewhat. "You do have a name though...It's Layla." She grinned at her before her smile fell off her face as she saw the mutilated bodies of some of their hunters hanging from the trees. She hopped off her horse and cut them down. On first look it seemed that a werewolf had killed them but then looking closer she also saw the telltale signs of vampire bites. She had seen it before though werewolves would kill the hunters and leave the bodies and the vampires not being able to resist the fresh corpse came behind them and drained them. She shook her head and walked away from the bodies. "They deserve a proper burial not to be left out here.."

-switch to Irial-

Irial had enough strength to conjure a powerful wind shoving her away from him and knocking her nearly off her feet. He then went into the offensive striking out at her using the wind to keep her unsteady.

-switch to Devlin-

Devlin grinned as he heard the screams of the humans in the streets as they realized there were vampires. He followed the scent he remembered smelling when she came into the hallway and easily found her. The vampires had a fun little trick up their sleeves as long as it was night time and there were shadows around they could use them to their advantage. They would dissolve into this mist type of thing to get away when the advantage was not on their side. He quickly knocked out the lights to the wing of the hospital she was in and stalked her getting ready for the kill.
Layla agreed with her words. She asked her to start digging some graves as she gathered all the men before helping her.

-Switch to Galena-

Galena struggled to stay on her feet as she defended herself. She silently thanked Vald as his win canceled out the man's. She once more returned to attacking him.

-Switch to Megan-

Megan was instantly in a defensive position when the lights went out. She specialized in knives of all types. With a quick movement knives were flying at the vampire. She was able to tell where he was. She was being completely underestimated her. She was a top hunter for a reason. She heard the bells go off signaling an attack.
Riley continued to dig the graves before setting them in it and creating crude crosses of their order and set them before the graves. By the time the two of them were finished they were covered in dirt and grime. She said a silent prayer for their lost brothers before turning to Layla wiping sweat off her brow getting dirt there in the process she huffed in annoyance before speaking. "The king will not be pleased.."

-switch to Irial-

Irial was growing more and more irritated with the two of them so his attacks were growing stronger. He had managed to get a rather large swipe across her torso. He really wanted to know what she had to gain from fighting him. She would not win. He could already feel more of his guards approaching. He had been gone longer than he told them he would be and were heading towards him. He also knew Vald could feel them as well. He continued to fight her aggressively. He poured more of his energy into his powers this time overpowering his brothers. Vald was strong but not as strong as him. It also helped that he was a monarch they gained strength not only from the earth but also from his fey and he was tapping into their strength right now as well. He pushed the girl back with the wind turning it into a hot wind that would scorch her skin.

-switch to Devlin-

Devlin had underestimated this girl and was thankful he was not in his body right now if he had been he would have most definitely been pierced in all kinds of unpleasant places. "Sounds like you are being attacked..how very unfortunate.. " He whispered into her ear appearing behind her suddenly and shoved her before stepping further into shadows dissolving once more.
Layla grimaced at her words. "No he will not." But at least they were able to complete their mission.

-Switch to Vald-

Vald was weary about leaving Galena but he decided he had to go and stop the guards from getting there. They would be at a serious disadvantage if they did.

-Switch to Galena-

Galena collapsed to one knee at the pain, using her sword to keep her up. She could feel her demonic self on brink of coming out. She had to finish this. She gripped her hand on the sword and launched herself at him in a fast swift motion deeply into his stomach.

-Switch to Megan-

Megan turned and ran to a room that was bright. She had to get out of the darkness if she would be able to touch him. She needed to make sure this vampire was dead or left before she could go help the others. She really just wished all the fighting would end.
Riley walked over to her and hugged her knowing what she had gone through just a few hours ago. She had heard stories what he did to some of the girls and luckily that had not happened to her. "Let me tell him. You have already went through enough today.."

-switch to Irial-

Irial gasped in pain and held his stomach blood flowing freely from the cut. He glared at her his eyes showing the true hate he felt for her. He held nothing back as he shoved her back with his powers before having roots shoot up from the ground winding around her legs and wrists holding her powerless for a moment as he walked over to her it was like a mini tornado was surrounding him. His hair was whipping to and frow and a storm was raging in his eyes. He walked over to her and back handed her. He grabbed her hand that was holding her sword and bent it back till it nearly broke making her drop it. He took his sword and raised it like he was about to chop off her head before he stopped and threw the sword on the ground. "Do not come after me again.." He turned around and started to walk away telling his men to fall back. He was still bleeding and it was worrying him. Whatever was on that sword had stopped the wound from healing. He needed to get to Grant and fast.

-switch to Devlin-

Devlin licked his lips as she ran off. He was going to enjoy sinking his fangs into this one. It had been a long time since he had had a good fight. He took off after her before slowing down when he realized where she ran. "Why don't you come out and play little hunter.." He stayed in the shadows as he spoke.
Layla's eyes widened as she suddenly hugged her. She looked down at her, "You don't have to."

-Switch to Galena-

Galena nearly cried out as he bent her hand back. As he was walking away the air around them suddenly shifted as an ominous wind picked up. Suddenly her skin was tan covered with tribal markings, her nails also grew into claws. Her hair swayed in the wind as she looked hung her head forward. A low inhuman growl started to come from her. All of her wounds healed. She looked up at him growling. Her eyes had cat like slits in them and she had fangs on her top and bottom teeth. She instantly broke free and with fast speed she was instantly next to him as she swiped his chest with her nails, cause deep cuts. The force of it hit itself caused him to fly back.

-Switch to Vald-

Vald had been taking care of the guards before he felt the change in the air. He cursed under his breathe and started heading back towards Galena.

-Switch to Megan-

Megan ignored his words and started rummaging through drawers. She pulled out sticks that were used as backup like, i.e flares. She broke the tops off of them before throwing them into the hallway, lighting it up.
Riley shook her head and started walking over to her horse before mounting it. "Yes, yes I do. I don't want him to hurt you again.. It kills me to know that those horrible things happen to my friends and I am powerless to stop it."
-switch to Irial-

Irial gasped out in pain as she cut into him. He stumbled trying to regain his balance as he stared at her wide eyed. He had heard rumors over the years from different sources that the human princess had a curse but he hadn't believed it till know. He backed away from her not knowing how he was going to fight this thing. He suddenly wished that he had not thrown the sword down next to her. He realized that as soon as she dropped the sword this change had come about her.

-switch to Devlin-

Devlin hissed lightly and kicked the flares away from. The damnable things were bright. The vampires may have been able to go in the light but that did not mean it still didn't hurt their eyes. They were more intuned to be in the dark. He glared at the girl. He was just about to attack when he heard his men tell him they needed to return. They had lost the suprise attack and were to outnumbered to do anything. He picked up one of the girls knives she had thrown at him as a souvenir before taking out a window once more. His men had killed a few dozen and injured a few dozen more. Overall it was a successful attack. He chuckled at his men and how blood drunk they were. He himself had wasted his time and would have to find a willing donor to feed from tonight.
Layla also got onto her horse and began riding back in silence she didn't know what to say to those words. She only hoped he wouldn't take his anger out on her. They had truthfully did exactly what their mission was without failing.

-Switch to Galena-

Galena stood there and lick some of blood off her fingers. She then launched herself at him once more.

-Switch to Megan-

Megan watched as he disappeared only to run outside and begin helping the injured.
Riley followed after her. She was oddly silent as they made the ride back. When they returned they found the castle in an uproar. It seemed that somehow vampires had broken through and had attacked them. She grimaced and hoped off her horse and instantly went about helping the injured.

-switch to Irial-

Irial cursed and managed to dodge her. He ran to her sword hoping that if she got a hold of it again. It would pust this blasted thing away..that or he was just supplying it with another and he was going to die.. He picked up his sword as well just in case and waited for her to come to him. He was still bleeding from the wounds she had inflicted on him.
Layla also quickly got to work helping out.

-Switch to Vald-

Vald slid to a stop at the site. He really couldn't do anything but watch and make sure she didn't do something truly stupid.

-Switch to Galena-

Galena licked her lips and she launched at him once more.
Irial grimaced knowing this would probably hurt him more than it hurt her. He to launched himself at her. The two of them met in the air and he used the wind to push her back on the ground where he pinned her down and shoved the sword into her hand. He pulled out his sword and held it to her neck waiting to see what would happen.
Galena's hand twitched as she held the sword. She gripped it as she just laid there without moving. After a long moment all of her features went back to normal. Her eyes slightly widened at the position she was in. She never remembered what happened when in that for but from the scratches on his chest she knew her other side had been released.
Irial looked down at her with barely controlled fury and disgust swirling in his eyes as he shoved off of her and started walking away from her. He stopped next to his brother and glared at him. "The two of you disgust me. You a half breed that should have been destroyed the day you were born and her a disgusting monster that needs to be eradicated from this earth. The two of you deserve each other." His voice was full of the hatred and disgust he felt. He didn't give Vald a chance to respond as he disappeared into the woods going to Grant. He hissed in pain as Grant started cleaning the wounds explaining to him what he had just witnessed.

-switch to Grant-

Grant listened in interest as Irial explained to him how he had received these strange wounds. He had heard of a rouge warlock preforming this kind of magic before on a human before but that magic was lost to his kind when the book was supposedly destroyed hundreds of years ago. It couldn't be possible. The magic in that book should never be used on humans.
