“The flower that smells the sweetest is shy and lowly.”

A petite body lay mangled between golden satin sheets of a queen mattress. Her body proceeded to awake, although mentally Jasmynn was not ready to ecscape from her peaceful slumber. After a few minutes, the small beams of sunlight peeking through wooden shades agitated her persistence to sleep. "I'm getting up.... she groaned turning over to avoid the rays of light dancing on her eyelids. 'Shriek! Shriek!' The alarm on her nightstand began to wail for attention. "Damn...Okay okay... she growled finally rising up with a relaxing stretch. Jasmynn's eyes glanced around her room recalling the night before. It was a long night at the club previously; even on a Wednesday drunks still found a way to keep her busy tending to all their selfish needs. Working 6pm-2am almost every night was enough to keep the dark circles under her bright eyes and it was obvious she had always failed to get any sleep. She wouldn't have taken the job if it wasn't for Selina, one of her best friends, who had pressured her into doing it. Selina had a good mind with pressuring Jasmynn to do things she opposed...But it wasn't that horrible, Jasymnn loved the night life and the dancing atmosphere drew her in more than anything. With another depressing yawn, the small female arose from her bed going towards her bathroom to further wake her body with a warm shower.
After fixing her long charcoal hair into a presentable look, she freshened up her face and proceeded towards her closet to pick out her outfit for the day. Man, did she feel like skipping school; this was a habitual thought almost everyday of the weekday and she longed for a weekend break. A few buzzes sounded from her iphone left in her purse, a quick glance at the clock, and she rushed downstairs from her apartment, to her car. Jasmynn opened the door of her glamorous car, and slid amongst the leather seat positioning herself accordingly. The fresh smell of leather filled her nostrils, as she had kept the birthday gift from her step father in brand new shape. Ever since she had grown up in a family with almost nothing, she cherished everything around her warmly, especially her one and only beautiful car.
With light classical music playing softly through her car speakers, she drove to her dreaded high school that was merely 10 minutes away from her apartment. It would be hell trying to find a spot if she was late, but by the looks of the clock, she wasn't too late. After being raced for spots when she had arrived at school, the teenager gave up taking a spot way in the back. Another car had almost raced her to it, but she calmly drove in taking her stand. "Stupid b***h!" She heard in the distance as the car behind her drove off angriliy. 'People are so angry now days..' she thought with a playful smile.
Stepping outside of her car with her shiny black heels, she slowly walked towards her school feeling as if it was placed millions of miles a way. 'Perfect parking spot Jas' she smiled again, proceeding to walk into the school after several minutes of persistent walking. Not paying any attention to time, the first period bell rang, and nervously she began to scuttle towards her Pre-Calculus class.
