Colorado's already usually a really cold place. But recently, it's been a lot more cold. It seems to rain almost everyday. I mean, the people here really can't blame it. It is the rainy season after all. It sometimes, goes from on and off to completely not understandable thunderstorm. But this is life for these people in Colorado. Especially for these groups of kids who live here. Their lives, like everyone else's, may have seemed to go on as is. But no, their lives have changed drastically in the past few weeks. It's been awhile so, they don't all remember much of that time spent growing to do their new... job, if you will. But it's not something they've really gotten a chance to test out. You see, these group of kids - it's a small group, not very big at all - recently got in touch with their spiritual sides? Ha, no big deal right? I mean, just saying that means they've all sort of become in tune with their spiritual sides. Like, they've reached a certain level of enlightenment. But they're just teenagers. They're not really anything to snuff at, so them reaching enlightenment anytime soon doesn't seem very likely. No, what they'd be referring to, is the fact that they've gotten a spiritual side. A spiritual side that lives within their dreams. As in, another person that they only contact through their dreams. And, for some, it's not so bad. For others, it keeps them up at night, whiling away the time spent just trying to get along with them. And you'd think it's simple coincidence that a bunch of kids achieved such things while in the same state and going to the same High School. But for these kids, their spiritual sides mentioned that it was destiny.

They all lived in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Quaint place and for whatever reason, the place seemed a little rainy this year. The people didn't complain and simply went along as usual. The place usually endured such things as the rainy seasons but this time around, it happened to get a lot of rain. The sky was gray and the air was cold. Dead leaves were blown through the streets, making it hard for people to walk and slippery on the roads as well. Cars zipped down the street, in this suburban Colorado town. It wasn't really anything big either. The town was quite small and it held many people trying to make it as their own big businessmen starting out small. Everyone had to have a start and this little town in Colorado was a definite good place to start, for anybody who wanted to do that. This town was also quite content with most of the smaller things as well so if anybody wanted to do anything big, they had to move out of this state to do anything that was super important to the world. Not saying that Colorado wasn't important but to this town, they loved how everything worked here. And so, there were often times when people who owned shops would prefer to stay in this town instead of moving away and going on their own. Only if it was absolutely necessary for them to do it would they actually go out and seek their dreams. And even though this was a small town, there were still a division of upper, middle, and lower class as they were in any society. However, unlike most societies where the upper class thrived, there were only a few upper class families there, and it was mostly middle class families. Not really anything too serious, or too not serious. Everything was sort of in the middle.

The kids who controlled these spiritual sides all had a meeting place in their High School which was called Glenwood Springs High School. This meeting room was an empty room they used in the back of the school because no one was using it and they got permission from the teachers. It wasn't that large of a High School but it definitely toppled some of the other buildings there. One of the first members of this small, collective group of about... four people entered the room, moderately soaked. He was a Japanese student, named Hayu Ayumu. Hayu had from Japan a few years ago for reasons he doesn't necessarily divulge but the gist of it is, he came here for a better life. Compared to what he had there, he was definitely having a better life here. Hayu was an extremely eccentric guy with a lot of things that he loved to talk and show people. He was a little bit overly eccentric so the people in GSHS often teased him for that. They also teased the fact that he was Japanese for whatever sick, twisted thing they had going on. But Hayu, in general, was someone whom was teased quite a lot. But that was the thing about all these students who arrived here. They all were sort of outcast from the norm so they ended up here with the best interests in mind. Hayu though, didn't let anything get to him though. He was rather cheery and excitable all the time so he often overwhelmed people. He didn't care though. He loved living here and would continue to do so. As he walked into the room, he looked up and noticed someone else was already. Emily Madison. Hayu smiled with a smile that didn't really seem real, and greeted her in his quite overly excited way. "Emily, hello! Have sweet dreams last night?" Hayu asked, greeting her as he entered the room. A few kids had given him strange looks on the way here and Emily jumped and immediately did the same. Except her look was kind of threatening, rather than confused.

Emily's heart was racing from the sudden appearance of Hayu. She hadn't expected anybody to arrive here yet and so she was quickly rummaging through her bag, which looked more like it belonged to a College student than her, and ignoring all outside presences, for the most part. Class wasn't going to start anytime soon but a lot of students were already there. Emily had gotten a text from Hayu earlier that stated that he wanted them to meet up here today. Emily figured she'd be here first, after all, since nobody else was here. So of course, Emily jumped like she did at the sudden sight of Hayu Ayumu popping up. Emily Madison a rich, spoiled, b***h. And this what she called herself if anyone were to ask her what she was. She'd tell them exactly that. She had no shame in admitting that she was a b***h. She didn't really even have a soft spot for anybody in this group either. Only one person she could say, with absolute certainty, she had something for. And she wasn't even here yet. She was a very big definition of "know-it-all" and that often got on people's nerves. So she was quickly outcasted because of that. As she turned around to greet Hayu, Emily tried her best to smile although she couldn't quite get her frown (and her steadily racing heartbeat) to turn upside down. Emily said, sounding very annoyed, "Hello to you as well, Hayu. Good morning. I had... an alright amount of sleep. Nothing to get that worked up about. If you must know, I got enough to sustain myself today. Although Anna was quite barbaric with the way she kept giving me hints on today's mission. Is that what you had us gather here for?" Hayu nodded happily and said, "Yes, of course. I found that dream had specific influence on us and-" Emily quickly put her finger to her lips and said, "Hayu, wait for everyone else to get here. For both our sakes, please." Hayu quieted himself after that, only sighing as he turned around to a dusty, old chalkboard that hadn't been used in awhile. The chalk sitting on the easel was old and stale but Hayu often found himself writing the entire hiragana tablet here on the board. He had done it a few times already and it could clearly be seen on the board, from where he erased it. He turned around and stared at it again, realizing that, to pass the time until the others got here, he had to practice his Japanese. Just to keep himself in the right mind and remind himself of where he came from.

So much 'suckage' has occurred this morning. First and foremost, this is the story of a man known as Alex Cortez, and how his little sister annoyed him to the depths of hell each and every morning of his life. Get up, get up, get up. Who knows how many times he had heard that squeaky voice just whirring into his ears. Probably even when the girl was a baby and she would cry during most of the night, she would be screaming those words at Alex in baby language. Nonetheless, just like any other morning Alex had proved to be resilient enough to withstand the devil and successfully had breakfast and leave for the school, without having her mother scolding him about throwing his sister off the bed because she could potentially hit her head and die, or something exaggerated like that.

Then there was the other issue with the dream he had before coming to school. His spiritual side known as Forte kept showing Alex a giant mall where every single store was an arcade. But whenever Forte would step into one of the arcades, the whole floor and the whole ceiling would collapse at each arcade leaving nothing but debris behind. Who knows how long Forte kept on doing this until Alex was unceremoniously woken up from his dream by the devil. But now there was the big issue at hand, thanks to Colorado.

Alex really liked living here, do not get him wrong. He especially liked snowy and cloudy days, today being just like the latter at first. He even liked rainy days sometimes, leaving his only weather hatred to the extreme heat Colorado would offer to its denizens some days. Oh man, how he hated the heat and humidity. Today was one of those days (very often actually this happened) when Alex was rushing through his morning to get to school, forgetting to take an umbrella; only to take out his cellphone during his run to the bus stop, and read the text saying that Hayu wanted them to meet up at the old small building behind the school. "Well ain't that a bag of tits." Evading the weird looks some girls gave him after he realized he had said that out loud enough for nearby people to hear, he pulled the hoodie's hood down then sat down at the back of the bus and enjoyed the ride to Metallica's "To Live is to Die" on his iPod.

Fast forward through some more wet moments and you'd find him walking right up to the old building behind the school. Alex opened the door, stepped in, and closed it behind him at first not gazing up to see who was there already but busying himself with making sure his headphones were not full of water by now; the hood could only do so much protecting. Eventually, he looked up and greeted them like any other morning. "Yo."

So Emily was there already. Alex had known her for quite a while now and though the woman was one hot piece of this world's women population, he had known her enough to make out that she was a total b***h. Some times he wondered if she was a perfect match for him however, since Alex did have his bitchy detail controlling moments. Then there was Hayu, his best bud ever since he got into this little occult-type club thing. Needless to say Alex did get on well enough with him, but probably only because the man countered Alex's total blandness of a personality. He was a true eccentric Japanese weird guy, but he was completely chill most of the time so Alex accepted him as a friend rather quickly. Concluding this assessment, Alex proceeded to plop down on one of the chairs knowing full well there would be more people coming. "Nice ******** weather." Was his only attempt at small talk.

Amandine walked out of the nurse's office, tears sitting at the corners of her eyes. Once she had gotten the message to meet the others in the back room of the school, Amandine had left her home as fast as she could. Her mother had given her a ride to school, even though she was close enough to walk. Amandine would not walk in the rain. That was unsanitary.

But, when she stepped out of the car, things had gotten bad. She stood under her umbrella and waved to her mother as she drove away, and did not return the gesture. She frowned, and turned to walk away, but she didn't get the chance to step forward. Another car raced along the road, driving full speed through a puddle. The water splashed up at her, soaking her to the bone. Amandine was out cold the second she realized what had happened.

Someone had been nice enough to drag the petite french girl out of the mud, and into the school, where the nurse took care of her. When she finally came too, Amandine was allowed to use the shower in the girl's locker room, and change into new clothes. Luckily Amandine always kept an extra outfit in her locker. But now her hair wasn't curled. She always curled her hair, making it fluffy so that it hopefully made her look bigger than she actually was. But now she'd just have to deal with straight hair.

So she left the nurse's office, thanking the nurse for all her help, but still shaken up over what had happened. She was perfectly dry now (she had a hair dryer in her locker too, of course), but she was still upset. She wiped her eyes and shook her head, walking away to the room where they all always met up in. Amandine was not the first to arrive, and was in fact the fourth it looked like. She nodded at all of them, and waved slightly but didn't say anything. She was too shy.

_________________________________

As usual, Edgar was in a foul mood as he walked to school in the rain. He lived on his own, having struck out from the foster family that adopted him after he was taken from his real parents; two British immigrants. They had originally lived in a bigger town, and for all Edgar knew his real parent still did, but he was taken from them long ago by child services, mostly due to a rather mean streak his mother had when she was drunk. His father had been a good man, a detective for the police force back home, but he died on the job. His mother simply wasn't strong enough to cope with the grief of losing her husband and sunk into the thralls of alcoholism. It wasn't long after that she started to get violent towards poor Edgar, whom was only ten or so at the time. Around then he was taken from her and placed in a foster home. But his mother's poisonous influence had already done it's work, leaving a rather mean streak in Edgar that made it impossible for him to properly get along with his new family. He was a smart boy, and was well versed in proper etiquette, but his mother's abuse had forced him to put up a wall around himself made of rude behavior and a tendency to act out. When he was old enough he made it a point to strike out on his own, half to get away from his intolerable (by his standards) family, and half to prove to the world (and himself) that he was better than his mother, and unlike her would use his life to do his father's memory justice.

But that was all in the past, which is a place that Edgar seldom visited anymore. His ideals kept him in the present, and constantly looking forward, finding new ways to prove himself and better his life (although his quest for self betterment did nothing to alter his rather foul attitude.)

He didn't mind the rain all that much, but the fact that it had been raining for longer than Edgar would care to remember had gotten on his nerves, especially since often times it was raining hard enough to successfully thwart any attempt he made to light a cigarette. He stopped at the front doors to the school, (which due to poor design choices apparently didn't have an overhang to shield waiting students from rain) and attempted to light a smoke. Not one to follow the normal way of doing things, Edgar used matches to light his cigarettes, but he couldn't tell you why if you asked, he just did. His efforts were fruitless, as the cigarette was completely soaked through in mere moments. He cussed under his breath and tossed it on the ground before entering the school. Upon entry, he made a beeline for the back room that Hayu had messaged them all to meet in, pushing his way through hallways with extreme prejudice, not really caring if anyone got in his way. He assumed Hayu wanted to talk about what had happened last night, when Edgar's spiritual side, Lhavant contacted him, he assumed everyone else's did the same.

He opened the door and looked around, noticing he was the last to arrive. He looked rather unhappy, and his thoroughly soaked hair was sticking to his head uncomfortably as he took his large duster jacket off. It was thick and heavy enough that it stopped most of the rain from seeping through to his dress shirt and vest (a bit of a fashions statement, to make himself stand out more), he hung the jacket up and looked around at the group. "Sorry I'm late." He said abruptly before making his way to the very back of the room to have a seat by himself. "I'm assuming we're here to talk about our dreams? b*****d wouldn't even tell me what was going on, he just wanted to talk about 'the path I had chosen for myself' the entire time. Such an obnoxious sod."

Hayu was writing on the blackboard when he turned around quickly enough to see that Alex had entered the room. He smiled brightly, dropping the chalk on the easel, realizing that most of the others should be arriving by now. Hayu liked everybody in the team, except maybe Emily, and sought out their friendship. He had no idea how in the hell it was possible for Hayu to like everybody but he had a habit of pretty much enjoying everyone's company unless they were completely intolerable as Emily was. Alex and Hayu were pretty much best friends now. He didn't know how it happened but after they managed to join up this little "group" of theirs, Hayu immediately got along with Alex. If he remembered correctly, they kind of complimented each other. Or something like that. He didn't really know, Alex had a better way of putting. The thing that Hayu admired about Alex most of all was that Alex was kind of... rough around the edges? I mean, Edgar was even more so (but in a sort of indifferent way, at least to Hayu) but Alex had kind of a laid back, yet tough personality. Hayu didn't know how to explain it but he really enjoyed Alex's company for that reason, mainly. And as he got to know him more, they just clicked. As Alex walked into the room, he didn't utter much of anything. Emily looked up at him and for a second, Hayu thought that she smiled in his direction. That was weird... The only she smiled at was... Amandine. And she wasn't even wasn't even here yet. But Hayu quickly sat on a table in the empty room, that sat in front of the blackboard, smirking at Alex. "What's up, man? O-genki desu ka? (How are you doing?) Ah, I mean, it seems you're doing well today. It's not everyday I see you sound so excited about the weather." Hayu sarcasm was quite evident in his voice and he chuckled about it. "But I do not know man, ame, err, I mean, rain is so great! Excuse me for being so corny but I think, most of the time, the rain washes out the world of its evil's. And it only rains this much when evil is pretty much consuming the Earth. Maybe this rain is a sign? I can not really say but nevertheless, the rain is quite beautiful." Hayu had a bright smile on his face the entire time. He was so serious with what he said. Hayu loved the rain, even more so than normal weather. It seemed rather... special to him. In whatever possible, Hayu was happy it had been raining a lot lately. "Do not fear my friend, this rain may be apart of our destiny stuff that our spiritual sides spoke of." Hayu said, just as two more people entered the room. One of them being, Amandine, the other girl yet the only person Emily even enjoyed despite them being almost complete opposites. The other being Edgar, the third guy in the group. Hayu had to admit, both of these people were very awesome, in their own ways. He respected Amandine because of her over-obsessive cleanliness although, truthfully, he didn't really consider it to be over-obsessiveness; rather, it was more like she was just... watching her hygiene extremely extra carefully. And hygiene was important to Hayu so he respected Amandine very much for this. And Edgar was as tough as nails. The guy also wore amazingly nice clothes. How could you hate someone who wore such... how did some people say it? Uh... threads! Hayu didn't get it but he liked using words like that. Edgar wore extremely nice "threads".

Emily pretty much ignored everyone that came in except for Amandine. Of course, she took notice of them being there but she didn't really give much of a motion to them. Emily did acknowledge Alex though, at least by smiling at him. But after Edgar came in, Emily looked over to Amandine. "Bonjour, Amandine." Emily said to her, pretty much best friend in the entire group. Emily had a problem with everyone else but Amandine, she really liked for whatever reason. Amandine was so sweet and shy and for whatever reason, Emily was drawn to her because of that. Amandine didn't speak unless spoken to her first and since everyone else gave her a headache when they spoke, she enjoyed Amandine for that reason, in itself. Emily would have given her "best" friend, a hug but she didn't want to freak her out. She knew how she was about germs and respected that. So, even though Emily saw other girls and their friends hugging and being all touchy-feely, she didn't think it was needed with her and Amandine. Amandine was also French, or at least, she had that sort of accent. And so, this is another thing that Emily enjoyed about her. She knew a lot of French considering she had been taking French classes since she was quite younger. Her parents were trying to satisfy her lust for knowledge although she had never realized it. Sometimes, she asked Amandine for help on her French because Amandine seemed to like her too. She didn't actually ever realize it but she had never asked Amandine if she wanted to be her friend. She just kind of assumed she did. Emily was nice to her, she hoped she thought that they were friends. "How are you doing, today? I'm happy to see you today, you know that? Did you happen to have that dream as well? The one about the shop?" Even though everyone was about to discuss it, Emily thought to mention it out loud to just Amandine. But that's the reason she did that. Hayu quickly caught on and spoke up.

"Edgar, first of all, ohayō (good morning), my friend! Nice to see you today, glad to see your dreams didn't cause you too much pain! Oh, of course, hello to see you as well, Amandine! We're all happy to see that everyone is here!" Hayu said, referring back to what Edgar had asked him just a few moments ago, even though the "pain" that Hayu referenced may have been larger than he realized. He almost forgot to say hello to Amandine as well. So he quickly added that part to address her too. "What you've said and what Emily just brought up to Amandine, is exactly what we need to talk about." Hayu cleared his throat and began to speak about the dream they had last night. "So, the point of me texting everybody today was so we could talk about this significant dream we all had last night. It involved a shop, and it kept popping up everywhere in the dream? I think the shop has major significance on our lives. Not only because I think Junjou - especially - kept giving me vague hints towards that point, but also because I think the whole "destiny" thing that we were told of is finally coming to a head. After School, or during it, I think we should go check it out. Does anyone have any information on any type of Arcade in Glenwood?" Hayu honestly didn't know. There was this one place by this comic book shop but he wasn't sure what it was called. But that probably wasn't it. It wasn't anything to snuff at either but maybe that was the whole point... Junjou was really vague about it...

Well that was kind of strange. As he was sitting down Alex could have sworn he witnessed Emily actually smile at him after he had greeted them. He quickly brushed aside the thought however as Hayu began to flamboyantly speak of the weather. "I'm doing pretty good man, kinda soaked but you know." So, the rain washing away evil huh? From a symbolic stand point it made perfect sense but that did not take away the corniness of it. "Well, yeah that was pretty damn corny. Not gonna lie." Alex chuckled a little bit once his friend was done, only joking with him of course. "But, I guess on a poetic level it makes sense." He finished speaking consenting the last words Hayu spoke of the rain being all part of this destiny that the spiritual beings keep speaking of. Alex wasn't really one for all this destiny business but it was obvious that greater forces were at work here, I mean the whole being able to interact with people from another realm isn't exactly normal for a common teenager.

Alex nodded at both Amandine and Edgar as the whole pack finished gathering for today's meet up. He nodded at Amandine with a small hand wave hoping not to scare her into the soccer field all the way to the other end of the school, and nodded at Edgar because he was quite possibly the coolest b*****d in school... so a nod showcased pure greetings and respect from his viewpoint. Nevertheless, Hayu quickly got into business and began speaking of the dream they had. So it really was about these shops and judging from the the last sentence he uttered they all also got the sense of the shop being an arcade.

Forte had actually not given Alex any sense of which arcade in Glenwood had a significance to them as a whole. But there was one of them that did have a link with Alex personally. "I don't remember if I've mentioned this before. But yeah, my uncle actually owns an Arcade downtown, called 'Mega & Bass'." Honestly, it had been awhile since Alex had went down to visit MBs, short for Mega and Bass of course. But he had heard from his father that it was doing pretty much excellent with a lot of the downtown kids and teens suddenly being more interested in old school video games and spending hours there after school was over. He crossed his arms and continued. "I was thinking of going there after school. But I mean, we could very well ditch and if it turns out Forte was just screwing with me..." Alex closed his eyes and gave a light shameless chuckle. "We could just enjoy the visit to Downtown right?" This is what Alex was saying but what he was thinking was totally different. In the dream the arcades got destroyed and debris was all that was left, and that could not be such a good sign.

Amandine stood as far away from the others as she could, watching their last member, Edgar, enter the room shortly after she did. Amandine had mixed feelings about him. He was kind of scary, but on the other hand, she hadn't had any trouble with him. Maybe it's because she stayed out of his way, but they hadn't clashed or anything yet. Because of that, she did hold a sort of respect for him. But for the most part, he just scared her silly.

She offered him a timid greeting, but was soon interrupted by Emily. Amandine quite liked Emily! Despite how different they were, they got along very well. Amandine knew that most people found Emily to be very mean, but she was always so nice to her. Amandine occasionally wondered if it was just out of pity, but she kept coming back. She kept talking to her. And now, she considered Emily to be her best friend. Maybe her only friend. She really liked the rest of their little team, but she was too scared to talk to them most of the time.

"Bonjour." Amandine greeted softly in return. That was another nice thing about Emily; She knew French. Amandine was rather self-conscious of the accent she had when she spoke English, and she felt much more comfortable in French. "Ah, oui, I had the dream." She explained. Amandine wasn't so fond of her dream self. She was far too brash and what not. Plus she had nothing against dirt and that was just wrong! Did she not realize how sick she could get? What would happen if Azalea got sick? Would Amandine get sick too?

"Are we going to walk there?" Amandine spoke up when the arcade was mentioned. It was raining. She did not want to walk out in the rain...

"Très bon, Amandine. I'm glad you seem to be feeling okay today as well." Emily smiled at her, glad that Hayu caught on quite quickly. He wasn't so annoying or stupid after all. Emily didn't have to concern herself much with these types of things although she had to listen nevertheless. Emily had no input really, and Hayu started to speak in place of her lack of input. He guessed Edgar didn't have much of an input either. Cause he seemed rather silent about the whole situation as it was. But as Hayu began to speak, Emily glance at Alex. She looked back away from him and focused on Hayu. "Ā, dono yō ni subarashī! {Oh, that's great!} Nah man, you've never mentioned that! I don't think I had any idea! Do any of you know this?" Hayu asked, as he quickly continued his sentence, as he figured the others would answer him from this bit of silence he was making. But if they did speak to him, he wouldn't have heard them. He was pacing back and forth now, with a hand on his chin, rubbing it gently. He was thinking of Alex said and a proper way to respond to it. "Mega & Bēsu... Mega & Bēsu! Oh man! I know of that place! It's a really cool arcade, I've been there a few times actually! That place is probably exactly where we need to go. It's a shop, it's an arcade, and it's totally somewhere our spiritual side would tell us to be. Total hot spot for people around town too... Although, I'm.. Seikaku ni wa wakaranai... {...not exactly sure...} I mean, not exactly sure! Is that place popular, Alex? Cause I've only been there a few times and when I was, it wasn't exactly booming in excitement and whatnot. Is your Uncle's place going out of business soon?" As Axle suggested that they go out into town while school's still in session, he waved his hands in front of him and said, "Masaka! Warui! {No! Bad!} That'd be skipping! We'd be doing something so bad, and we'd get in trouble!"

Emily quickly interjected here and said, speaking a bit of Japanese that she had known from studying the bit that she did, "Hayu wa, aho koto wa arimasen. {Hayu, don't be a dumbass} It's not that big of a deal to go and sneak out of the class like that. These classes are made for dumb s**t's anyway so it's not like we'd have trouble getting out of class." Emily said, as Hayu groaned and nodded, knowing that she was kind of right. At least, right in the sense that they could get out of class easily... Not that the classes were made for "dumb shits" and he was quite offended at what she said. She was a b***h, he couldn't stand it... Emily turned to Amandine, smiling brightly. "Pas de soucis, Amandine. You have nothing to worry about, my dear friend. We're not going to walk in the rain. I can come and get my family to pick us up. That should relinquish such things like colds and other germs like that for everyone. Sound good to everybody else?" Emily didn't waste much time after that, using her cell phone to call her father to send a car to school in a little while. "So, what else do we need to cover? Anything else you can guys can think of, hurry it up. Class is going to start soon. If we are going to sneak out of class, as much as it disgusts me, we'll need to ask to go the bathroom or the nurse or something of that nature. Just make sure you can get yourself out of class, for whatever, if we're going to sneak out of class for the day."

((Ooc: Well I most certainly shouldn't have procrastinated so hard on those papers~ But I'm back, yo.))

Edgar listened carefully to what each person had been told in their dream (considering his spiritual side, Lhavant, had told him absolutely nothing during his dream.) and decided the best course of action would be to skip out on class. "I say we ditch, then. Problems don't wait to be solved, they keep happening while the ones who are supposed to solve them twiddle their thumbs." He said in a gruff tone. His disdain for most of the human race came though a bit as he spoke, mostly because the statement was directed at everyone in the world, excluding the four people he stood with now.

"I don't need a bloody excuse to skip class, My teachers expect me to be absent anyways. Why go against the norm? It's not like I learn anything here anyways." He explained as he fetched his jacket, which hadn't totally dried yet, but since they were headed back outside he figured there was no use in waiting since it'd just be soaked again in a few minutes. But then Emily suggested that her family pick them up. This seemed like a wonderful idea, as it would save Edgar and his comrades from walking in the miserable weather, for once. "That'd be lovely." He said, folding his still-damp jacket over his arm and opening the door to leave. He stopped to speak over his shoulder. "I suppose since all of you good students need excuses to leave, I'll just wait at the front doors~" his voice had a kind of playful spite to it as he began down the halls, whistling away as he went.

Quite a few minutes later, fast forward to the inside of Emily's family fancy limousine and lots and lots of snacks. Alex quite enjoyed lots and lots of snacks and did not really care much if he could help himself to them or not, they were there for a reason and what reason could be better than the fact that they were within arms reach. "Oh yeah, I forgot to answer your question from before Hayu." Alex mumbled as he swallowed the last bit of the road snacks currently residing in his mouth. "My uncle's place isn't actually going out of business. I think you might have went one of the first few months it was open. It just wasn't really popular back then since it was pretty new, but recently it's gotten more attention for some reason." He completely made himself comfortable and put his arms behind his head, after explaining to the limo's driver about where exactly they were going.

Man, some people have it good. As Alex looked around the inside of the fancy car he wondered what it was like to be driven to and from school every day, enjoying such a luxurious lifestyle. It wasn't that he was exactly envious but the snacks were awesome. And there was a little fridge in there too, probably filled with fancy drinks and whatnot. "Must be the life." Alex didn't realize he was talking out loud as he uttered this sentence, thankfully he said it in a pretty low volume but still everyone probably heard him. He looked outside the window and it appeared they were at least very close to the downtown exit so they would probably be there in like fifteen minutes or so. Through all the rush to get out of school, he forgot to call his uncle to see if he was already at the arcade this morning. Most likely he was though, since he was a very hardworking man and as far as he knew took his job very seriously.

((OOC: No worries man. I've been having writer's block for some reason so it's all good xD hence the shitty post actually haha))

Amandine's family was wealthy, but they had never splurged on a limousine unless it was for a very special occasion. Did Emily just get to ride in one all the time? That must be nice. Amandine liked limos when she was the only one in them. She had plenty of space. But when a bunch of people were in it, it still felt crowded. She tried her best to stay as far from the others as she could, sticking to the very edge of the seats.

Amandine fidgeted nervously. They were skipping. She had never skipped school before. Well...Since coming to America, she hadn't missed any school. Back in France, Amandine had spent months locked up in her rooms, refusing to come out for anything--even school. Her brother's death had been very hard on her. But once her parents made her move here, she was trying to do well in school. She went everyday, even if she was sick (although she was hardly ever actually sick.)

"A-Aren't we going to get in trouble?" Amandine asked softly, to no one in particular. If her parents found out she was skipping school, they'd kill her. Her parents used to have a lot of patience with her, but after her brother died, Amandine must have become harder to deal with. Now they were very hard on her. She'd be dead if they found out about this. But how could she keep this a secret? The school would call her home if she wasn't in class, wouldn't they?

Amandine reached into her bag, and pulled out the hand sanitizer, which she nervously rubbed into her hands. She stared out the window, occasionally biting her lip as she tried to calm herself down.
