"And I had to wear my favorite shirt." he said as he picked up the dagger as he passed it. He kept the name i mind. "Ace." he mumbled as he walked, looking at the dagger. "This will truly be exciting~" he purred. He soon met up with Juliet again and explained to her what happened. "Why don't you just listen to me! I could have taken him down like that!" she yelled as she snapped her fingers. "You're lucky he didn't turn and try to kill you! You're even luckier this thing just got your shirt!" she scolded, grabbing the dagger from him and shaking it dangerously close to his face. He grabbed it back from her an put it away. "Look. I'm tired and i have meeting with my dad in a few hours. You can yell at me later but right now I have to get some sleep." he said as he walked past her. "By the way...look into anything about a vampire named Ace." he said before he disappeared into the shadows.

ღღღღღAce soon made it home and locked the doors, now just turning on his security system. He fed his kitten, Sophie, and soon went up to bed, now just groaning as he felt his back pop. He soon closed his eyes and began to think. So there was a hunter named Pavi, eh? He had heard it all. He figured that he'd hear some corny nickname like "The slasher" or something like that. Well at least this hunter was original.

Ace just snuggled to a pillow as he thought, now just sighing. Ace really wasn't his name. Well it was... it was just not what his mother named him. His real name had been James, but he changed it about thirty years ago. He knew the hunter did not know this, but he was about ninety-one years old, so of course he'd seen mostly every trick in the book. If there were new tricks, he'd learn them quickly because it seemed like every hunter wanted a piece of him. No worries though. He was still living.

The young vampire soon fell asleep as he was lost in his thoughts, now just ready for the next day. Maybe he'd see that cute hunter again and mess with his head.ღღღღღ

Making his way back to the small apartment Pavi yawned and looked at his alarm clock. "Huh three hours of sleep, oh goddie." he said in a sarcastic tone as he removed his shoes and plopped onto his couch and layed his head back on a pillow. He tried sleeping but he couldn't. What the vampire, Ace. What he said echoed through his mind. 'You let me play with your mind. That's why you're a flawed hunter.' It flustered him. Flawed. He was flawed. And he knew it was true. He got to emotional. One of the most improtant rules. Never let your emotions get in the way, and that was exactly what he let happen. "Do you have a flaw Ace?" he mumbled as he opened his eyes and got up. He wasn't as tired anymore although he knew later in the day he would regreat it he got up and left.

Deep into town, past the ally ways, past home and shelters leaving cilviasation and into the woods he made his way to the center of the forest and past security he made his way to the hunters base locted in his town. He might as well start training now. Who knows if he'd be lucky next time he saw Ace. "I thought you'd be asleep." Juliet said, not looking up from the computer screen. "Not tired. Did you find out anything?" Pavi asked his partner as he looked over her shoulder. "Oh yes. The Ace character. There isn't much about him that we know of. There have been quit a few hunters that have gone after him but non have been successful. This is him right?" she asked as she brought up a blurry picture of him. "Uh....Yeah. It looks like him." he mumbled. "Don't go after him. You're still new. If even the most successful hunter ha-" she was cut off when Pavi left, not wanting to hear her nagging him. Instead he went to train.

ღღღღღAce yawned as he heard his alarm go off. He groaned and slammed his hand on the clock, now just sitting up. He noticed Sophie laying next to him. He just smiled and stroked her a bit, before getting up and going into the bathroom. He quickly slipped into the shower and sighed, now just thinking about the hunter last night. Hm. He was so emotional it wasn't even fun to mess with. What was he doing being a vampire hunter? If he only knew. He soon got out of the shower and dried off, now just getting dressed. Hm. What was he going to do today? He hadn't a clue. He just went into the kitchen, fed Sophie, and was out the door. But once he was out the door, he noticed a vampire hunter right in front of him.

Ace just grinned. "Hey, back for more fun?" He asked the hunter. The hunter just growled. "Don't mess with me!" He yelled and then fired. Bang! Thankfully, only the door had a hole in it. He just grinned as he was now standing beside the hunter. "Nice shot." He said as he soon stole the gun from the hunter's hands. The hunter gasped and Ace grinned. "You either leave now or you get shot." He warned the man and of course the hunter ran as fast as he could. Ha. He loved doing that. He just placed the gun into his pocket and just began to walk, now sighing as he looked around.ღღღღღ

Pavi had yawned as he listened to his father nag at him. It was time for there meeting and thankfully it was almost over. "You need to start working harder!" he snapped, making Pavi jump a bit. "Juliet told me about this vampire...Ace? You gave him your name? I told you. We have code names. Never give you real name. Are you stupid!?" he asked. Pavi just blinked and looked up at him. "Stupid? No...Perhaps suicidal." he said, knowing he had hit a nerve. Despite his father learning to control his emotions just the mention of how his wife, Pavi's mother had gotten rid of her self would set him off. "Get out." he said, pointing to the door. Without protest he got up and left, letting the door slam behind him. "By the way if you think I'm stupid you should look at everyones code name!" he yelled from outside. "Code names are stupid not me." he grumbled as he stuffed his hands in his pocket and yawned again. "Coffee?" Juliet asked as she met up with her partner, walking beside him. "Please." he mumbled as he made his ay to the exit. "Come on Pav. I'll buy." she said as she fallowed him out.

"But he called me stupid..." a tired and whiny voice said just a bit too loud as Pavi and Juliet walked into the coffee shop. "You really should have slept. You're acting like a little kid." Juliet said in a calm tone. "Take a nap when you get back to your place." she said as she decided what to get. "How can I do that if I'm getting coffee?" he asked with a smirk. "It called decaf smart one." she grumbled as she ordered an ice coffee for herself and a regular decaf for Pavi. "You're no fun!" he said with a sigh. "Just go find us a seat and shut up, please." Juliet said as she shooed Pavi away. He huffed and did as he was told, sitting down and laying his head on the table.

He asked softly as he took her hand and kissed the top, which made her blush. Her girlfriends just broke out in giggles as they watched. The girl son just nodded. "E-e-excuse me." Juliet's ear twitched as she peeked over at Ace and the girl watching them before sighing and getting up. "Where ya going?" Pavi asked as he peeked up at her. "Stay." she said as she approached the vampire. "You're not going to go after her? She's very pretty, sweet and innocent." she mused as she waltzed up to him. Her tone was calm and relaxed.She didn't bother to mention anything about blood sucking or being a hunter. She was just curios for now. "And she seemed to be quit into you." she added and gave him a curios look. Pavi was trying to look past Juliet, curios as to who she was talking to but she was blocking his view. He huffed and tried again to look past her but in the end fell out of his seat. He got a small glance at Ace and quickly sat back up, brushing himself off before getting up to get Juliet.

Well at least he wasn't going to go after the young girl but there was a smaller problem, one she was hopping would be easy to solve although seeing as Pavi was involved it wouldn't be that easy. "So you really are an experienced blood sucker now aren't you." she said before leaning in. She scrunched up her nose a bit, still able to smell the hint of blood in his breath from the night before. "You can help me. You can leave." she said. "You see. My partner is an idiot and he's determined to kill you. But we both know he won't be able to do that. So to make sure he doesn't die it would be helpful if you as I said before just left." she said, backing up when she heard Pavi get up. "I told him to stay there." she mumbled. "What are you doing here?" he asked Ace as he came from behind Juliet. "Never mind it's not like I care. Come on Juliet lets go." he whined, still tired and acting like a child.
