Stepping into the cool night air sounded normal to most. Walking around during the night was also normal to most. Walking in to a dark ally at three in the morning...Not normal to most. That is in fact exactly what Pavi did. Was he out as a prostitute? Or perhaps for drugs? Most would think. By the sight of the young man (he had just turned twenty the day before) this is what they would think. He did not seem strong nor did he seem wise. And truth be told he was not that wise but he was strong. He had to be. For he was a hunter. More specific a vampire hunter and tonight he as did almost 24/7 he was patrolling.
Pavi rubbed his arms lightly not expecting it to be so cold as he looked around at the darkened ally. His eyes were use to the dark able to see as if it were the day. "Why do I do this again?" he asked himself. It was something he asked himself often on lonely nights like this an his answer was always the same. "Oh yeah, cause dad wanted me to." he said, watching his breath form a mist in the air. "Nothing is going to happen. It's like every night for the past month. Nothing. Just rats and ally cats." he grumbled, trying to break the silence as he kicked a stone.

ღღღღღ "Ahhh!" A scream came at the middle of night from a dark alley across town. A young girl was screaming bloody murder at the sight of red glowing eyes and pearly white fangs. She was paralyzed with fear and of course, that was the easiest pray. Suddenly the monster managed to get behind her and sink his lovely fangs into her neck, which just shut her up for now. Finally, when he drank so much that if he drank anymore he'd kill her, he left her onto the ground and just left the Alley, just wiping his lips of the evidence. "Hm. AB. Sally, Sally, you weren't as good as I thought you were." The young looking, blonde vampire boy muttered under his breath as he just continued to walk. Ace was his name. He looked perfect. The moonlight hit him perfectly so it looked like he was glowing. His teeth were usually pearly white all the time, and he had the prettiest eyes ever. He was just like... an angel or something that fell from heaven, as far as looks went. He was the type of person though that liked to play games, including human games such as cards. Black Jack was his favorite though. "Hm. I wonder if I'll have to have a side dish." He went on talking to himself as he walked, now just looking at the night time sky. AB was his least favorite and filled him up not that much. A was his favorite. It always made him a tad more flirty than he was. B was okay. O, O was his second favorite. It just made him sweet and kind, making it easy to bring home his pray. He just sighed softly though as he just walked down the streets. Cars went by quickly, trying to get to where they were going. Gosh, even at night, a big city was as busy as it was in the day. ღღღღღ

Pavi's ear twitched as he heard a faint scream. A look crossed his face as he got up (he was poking at a bug out of boredom) "An animal? No it's human." he smiled softly as he took off in a jog. "Looks like we might have some fun tonight." he said to himself as he got out his phone and sending a quick text to his partner. He quickly made his way to the location in an almost inhuman speed (well duh. He was trained to be like that) When he found the victim he frowned and lifted her, checking the wound. "Must have just missed them huh." a female voice said before a shadow jumped down from one of the buildings. A young female emerged from the shadows and looked at Pavi. "Juliet." h mumbled and looked back down at the girl. Juliet crouched down and sniffed her. "Type AB. Like this for a good ten...fifteen minutes. Are you getting slow?" she asked, and eyebrow raised as she teased him. "Shut up. I'm going after them. I'm sure they can't be that far." he said as he got up and handed the girl to Juliet. "What? Why do you get to go after him. I'm the werewolf here. I can smell them out faster then you." she protested. "Don't argue with me. Just tack her back. Besides...." he trailed off as he ran. "I haven't seen any action in a while." he said, knowing that she could hear him. Well Juliet was good for something. He knew he was looking for a male now. That should be easy. Vampires were easy to spot if you were trained good enough to spot them.

ღღღღღAce continued to walk, now just heading to the back of a club. He knew drunk people would be back there and he'd have an easy meal. He grinned as he saw a woman and easily went over to her, now sweet talking her. Of course it wasn't hard to make a drunk woman to fall in love with you. She quickly kissed him and he pulled away, now just standing behind her. His arms were around her waist as he licked her neck. She giggled, now ready to take her shirt off, but a pain surged through her body when she felt the fangs pierce through her skin. She was about to scream but Ace covered her mouth as he just drank. Ah. This was delicious. He got lucky and found his favorite, A. Yummy. After a few minutes, her body went limp and he just sat her down, now just leaving her there. He wiped his mouth and made his way from behind the club, now just heading back to the main road. He knew he'd be safe from hunters at the main road because nobody wanted to cause a scene.
Ace made it to the main road and soon was heading to his home. He took an alley way because he was already getting tired and wanted to rest, and the alley way would be faster. Thank God for short cuts.ღღღღღ

It had taken some time for Pavi to get another lead but when he found the next victim he hurried himself. Surprisingly there were a few almost sober people who were able to give a description of almost the same person...or what they called an angel. Although it helped some it did not help enough. All he knew was this vampire was a male, seemed to work alone and had what looked like blond hair. "Maybe I should have asked for Juliet's help." he mumbled as he searched. It really would have been the smarter thing to do but he wanted to take this case. He needed to prove himself. Prove to everyone he's not a screw up with luck on his side. "More importantly....I have to prove to dad." he said, losing himself in thought.

Pavi almost lost his breath at the sight of the other, his voice soothing him to the point where he almost forgot what he was going to say. "I-I...umm." he cleared his throat. 'Okay...This must be the one I'm looking for.' he thought to himself. "My little brother. I....I know it's bad to have him out this late but I had to take him to the hospital cause he wasn't feeling well and well we had to walk back home and he got separated and...and.." he started to fake sob and cry. "I don't know where he is!" he cried. If it worked he planned on corning the other in hopes of slaying him.

Eye twitching he sighed and shook his head. "******** this." he grumbled to himself, tired and annoyed. "Look blood sucker. Make this easy on me and drop dead so I can go home." he said in a bored tone as he pulled out a dagger and lazily held it out. At this point he didn't care if he screwed up or not. When he thought about he didn't even want to be a hunter. He was only able to sleep an hour or two, he had to keep up with his training. Maybe it was luck that he passed his tests and classes....No...It wasn't luck. He was going to prove it. "Just make this easy." he said as he tightened his grip on the dagger.
