Therian frowned not wanting to discuss with a stranger their business as he got on his horse. Therian kept an on Zane one hand resting on the handle of his sword.

"We are track a light elf who left, this elf is of high importance," explained Lorian as he felt the horses move towards the forest. "Unfortunately we can not give you anymore information than this."

"Ya ya, figured." He rolled his eyes while rubbing his nose. He snuffed a few times before entering the edge of the forest. It didn't take him long to already practically feel the forest. Zane glanced at the two Royals......If I could catch this light elf's scent I could easily track him, he thought to himself. But there was nothing normal about an elf being able to track smells like a dogs.

Guess I need to rely on the forest. He closed his eyes briefly taking in all the smells and sounds. His elven ears twitched a bit as he assessed his surroundings. "Keep yer wits about ya." He grinned, "Ya never alone in this forest, best to be prepared at all times."

"I'm always prepared you filthy...." Therian began before Lorian cut in saying. "Therian silence."

Therian heard the strict tone in his friends voice and knew that if he didn't shut his mouth he was going to pay dearly. Lorian was good at making people pay dearly with his actions and normally when Therian got him mad it meant cold shoulder with some 'accidental' kicks to the shins. Therian's face went to a scowl as he focused on finding Hawke.

"I apologize for Therian's behavior," said Lorian as they moved on. "He has been under a lot of stress tracking this person."

Zane didn't overly pay too much attention to what the royal guard was about to say. "It's alright, I'm used to taking crap from whiny bitchy royals like him." He grinned obnoxiously as he walked through the forest, letting his memory and sense guide him.

They came to a large log like bridge that over hung a dramatic waterfall that ran through a large deep crevice in the earth. It ran for miles both to the right and the left. It was beautiful....Zane came here often to think. "Not sure if ya horses are gonna make it, there's no way they're getting across this log bridge." He leaned down and felt the slippery damp wood. "We could go around, but it'll add a few days and it'll take ya threw the thicker parts of the forest...full of monsters and s**t."

"Therian I know what you are going to say and we can't risk losing anymore time," said Lorian hearing his friend's mouth open. "The horses know the way back to the kingdom and if you would like it you can we can travel light."
Therian looked at Lorian with a worried expression but his words were true, he helped his friend off the horse before removing their supplies. He looked at the horses before nodding letting go of the reigns watching them run off when he smacked their rump. Therian gently took Lorian by his arm to guide him. He nodded towards Zane saying "Guess we're walking then."

Zane watched them carefully, he hadn't noticed the others blindness before, mainly cause he was too busy in his own mind. "Eh be careful....It's rather slippery." He commented while walking across casually. He was used to navigating the forest for the most part. He wasn't like most light elves, the ones who abandoned their knowledge of the forest for civilization, but that was mainly because of his curse.

His amber eyes gazed at the waterfall as he stepped along the large fallen tree, his ears twitched....Something was moving to the right on the other side of the crevice. He tensed a little as he caught the scent of gorrlic wolves. Large wolves that could fade into the shadows, they were as dark as the night, and had a very nasty bite.

When Therian crossed over, Therian helping his friend, he stopped noticing Zane tensing. He looked at him asking. "Is something the matter?"

Lorian's ears twitched as well he heard movement but didn't say anything, not wanting to risk it being something not dangerous.

"Eh not really, we're about to have company." He commented.....God I always attract dogs, he thought with a grumble. "But it's alright, keep coming, it's nothing we can't handle." He explained while stepping onto the lush forest ground of the opposite side.

A pitch black shadow in the shape of a wolf slid from the trees, it snarled and growled while stepping towards him. It was followed by it's back soon after. They bared their fangs, shadows flickering around the, "Any of ya know any light techniques? It'll probably scare em off." He suggested while whipping out his dagger. Weapons did little damage, but the light was their enemy. He could handle them effortlessly in his other form.....But that wasn't an option.

Therian was uneasy with the situation, his sword drawn ready to fight when he felt the feeling of Lorian's magic behind him.

Lorian's body was glowing brightly as a small sphere formed above his heads. The light was bright but it had a gentle feeling to it. More sphere's of light formed over his head before Lorian lifted his hand towards the presence of the wolves. The lights shot forward towards the wolves growing larger as more magic was placed into them.

Zane grinned when the wolves backed away, they were already retreating out of fear. He stepped towards them gesturing for them to scram. A few growled before turning and running off. "Good thing ya have the powers, those things get kind of nasty." He smirked while walking on, "Though bright light wont work on most of the-" He paused when a foul stench swept into his nostrils. He shook his head in an animialstic motion. Death.....That was the smell, and it was foul.

He snuffed sightly, even with his cold it smelt horrendous. He parted a few ferns till he came upon a camp with a male dark elf lying slumped over. It had an interesting arrow through its head. "This is still kind of fresh....keep your guard up." He suggested.

Hawke took a deep breath as he leaped into a tree, landing graceful on the sturdy structure. His amber eyes glared towards the forest floor as a few trolls passed. He could handle them, but he felt no need to kill the creatures....he was in their territory, he had no right.

However he felt a slight...oddity...the forest was whispering to him. He glanced over his shoulder with narrowed eyes, he knew he was being followed. His lips quirked into a sly grin. "Your determination is pointless Therian." He whispered to himself. "Your little sparrow has left the nest, and grown wings of it own."

Golden eyes blinked a few times as he observed the travelers bellow. His slim light green scales glimmered under the streams of light through the trees as he blended into the leaves. He stretched his wings a little as he crawled along the tree tops, watching them curiously. He was not noticeable, mainly because his body and his scent could morph into the forms around him.

His head twisted to the side innocently and he let out a slight rumble like purr as he followed.

"I will keep that in mind," said Lorian turning his head to the side and slightly upwards before smiling and walked with Therian following Zane. "Come quick or Veran will put you to shame."

"That was mean Lorian," said Therian frowning, he didn't like his younger brother for quite a few reasons one of which was abandoning the kingdom because he was bored. He froze at the sight of the arrow.

Zane could smell the scent of the owner of the individual, but he didn't comment on it. He looked at Therian with a raised brow, the mans reaction was a little obvious. "So I take it this belongs to your little runaway?" He grinned while pulling it out of the dark elf's head. "Not really that bright, killing a dark elf in it's own territory, unless he's just a murderous a*****e." The redhead shrugged with a laugh. Though he noticed the dark elf had been eating meat.....A rather taboo action for most elves.

The young dragon let out another content purr as he stared down at the group. He shook his head a little before merging into the tree branch. His bright green scales morphed into the dark reddish brown of the tree. His golden eyes opened a bit and he observed the scene below. He liked most of their scents.....Especially the blind one, he felt no threat.

"He is not," hissed Therian rage etching into his features before fading away. "I do not know why he would do this or why he left. But I will bring him back."
Therian got distracted by his thoughts.

Lorian took Therian's distraction as a sign to rest a bit and decided to discover the source of the purring. He wandered around keeping close to the presence of Therian and Zane not wanting to wander to far. He liked the feeling of the forest it was calming and new.

"Hey don't get pissy at me, you're the ones who aren't telling me who he is." He chuckled while while fiddling with the arrow. His eyes felt to the northeast.....He could still smell the male they were tracking, he wasn't that far off.

The dragon let out a light rumble when he saw the blind elf look around, He smiled a little and his scales returned to normal. He let out a playful purr as he bounded down towards the ground, landing right in front of the blonde. He playfully hopped around a little before tilting his head to the side to examine the male elf before him.

Lorian laughed quietly not wanting to attract any attention from Therian, he was overprotective. He held out his hand slowly towards the noise.

"Is something that way?" asked Therian still not looking behind him, unaware of what Lorian was doing.
