Welcome to Gaia! ::

Sera giggled softly and took Delilah's hand.
"We're going to get our luggage and then we're going to find a taxi and find out hotel room. Since the time zones are later here, it's actually just starting to become night," she explained to Delilah. And indeed the two went to claim their luggage from under the train and then Sera showed Delilah how to get a taxi.
"I like taxis better than buses because on a bus you never know who else is there and if you really want to be there with them. And in the taxi, although the driver might be a little grundgy, he's just there to drive you places and get his money, so there's no worry from him."
Once she had a taxi waved down, she helped Delilah get her things into the vehicle.
Delilah listened intently to each word Sera had to say, quite sure that she would need to know all of this in the future, perhaps. She watched the things around her carefully, trying her best to take absolutely everything in, to absorb it and memorize it well.
Sera and Delilah took the taxi to their hotel and then the worker there took their luggage for them.
"Alright, I propose that tonight," Sera said as she sat down on the couch in front of the television, once in their room, "that we just chill here. Are you okay with that? That train ride has me wiped... I can also go ahead and make a few phone calls while we're here as well."
The two of them had been greeted at the front desk actually by the hotel manager who was helping them out since they were so busy. The hotel was actually a very fancy place with an over-hanging chandelier in the lobby.
Their rooms were large and spacious, having a bedroom with two beds, a kitchen area, a living room, and then a bathroom. Sera figured she had made a good choice.
"Yes, that's fine," Delilah replied with a polite smile and a nod as she wandered around the hotel room. It was rather nice, very fancy. Of course, by some standards, her house would have been considered fancy, but this was a very new and different kind of fancy for her.
Of course, she felt the need to go out and explore, but that would come in good time and she was a little tired as well. So she was find with giving Sera her breathing room as well.
Sera got on the phone and contacted all the clinics, flopping down on the couch in order to comfort herself while she did so. She found the remote and turned on the screen, the doors of the entertainment center sliding back to reveal the great screen.
"Anything you'd like to watch?" she asked him, the news being the first thing that had come up on it.
Delilah was still looking around, having figured that Sera might call Danny and talk for a while, but if she had, the conversation hadn't lasted very long.
"Nothing in particular," Delilah repleid as she settled down beside her. She normally didn't watch the screen very much and so didn't really have any favorite shows or channels.
Sera and Delilah stayed up a little later than Sera had expected them to. She mainly just wanted to talk with Delilah and give her the run-down of what they'd be doing over the next week. She also had called Danny to let him know that they had made it in safely. But Danny must've been eating supper, for all she was able to do was leave him a voice mail. She was okay with that, knowing that he'd probably call her back later or would the next day.
"So what exactly would you like to do tomorrow?" Sera asked. "Would you like to go ahead and start out with a date. Maybe a couple of guys that could show us the town, or a couple of girls and then vice versa the next day. Would you like for just us to look around. Or would you like to start off with the clinics?" she asked.
Delilah felt a little nervous at the mention of dating, and complete strangers at that. In fact after admitting her troubles and then beginning on this trip, she had been hardly worried over her orientation lately. But perhaps it would be worth a try later in the week.
"I think I'd rather look around and star off with the clinics," she admitted. "I want to see what you've been up to around here." She smiled politely as she gazed sleepily over at Sera.
Sera raised a brow.
"Awww... are you sure?" she asked of her. "she had mainly planned this trip for Delilah, but if that's what the girl wanted to do then that was fine as well.
"But okay, that's perfectly okay. I think you'll enjoy visiting the clinics."
With that, she pulled her communicator back out in order to contact the ones that they'd visit the next day.
Delilah was honestly a little apprehensive about jumping straight into the phase of meeting anyone. She preferred to hopefully become accustomed to her surroundings a little more so that she wouldn't be so distracted by other things. Plus she didn't think...or realize that Sera meant for this trip to be solely for her. She felt Sera had just as much free choice as she did to choose what they'd do for the day.
While Sera phoned the clinics, Delilah waited patiently on the couch.
