Sera was very happy with Danny there beside her. She noticed that he was comfortable as well and she wondered if she just didn't say anything if he'd stay there. They would just end up falling to sleep together since they both seemed tired, it wouldn't be as if anything would happen. So she stayed quiet and stayed still.

Danny found himself beginning to doze off. He was very comfortable where he was and a bit tired from the events of the day. He cuddled up next to Sera after a moment and soon began to drift off to sleep. He figured in the end it didn't really matter, not at the moment anyway.

Sera started to drift off to sleep with Danny there beside her. Eventually, in her sleep, she pulled the blankets up over them, for it was rather cold.
The two slept very well until morning. Because they had gone to bed rather early, Sera woke earlier than normal as well. She gently stroked her hands along him, just loving his warmth.

Danny stirred not long after Sera began to run her hands along his arm. He was normally a heavy sleeper, but they had gone to bed early and it was getting close to his time to normally wake up anyway.
"Oh..." he muttered after a moment and smiled. "I didnt' realize I'd fallen to sleep in here at first...didn't know where I was." He chuckled. "How're you?"

"I'm great," Sera whispered. "And yeah, I guess we were both pretty tired..." She closed her eyes and laid her head back on the pillow beside Danny's head. "I'm sorry you were slightly confused," she chuckled rather sleepily.
"How did you sleep?" she asked.

"Pretty good," he replied as she stretched his arms out a moment. As he did so, he slipped his hands around her shoulders and when he was done, he pulled her closer to him, then he rested his head atop hers. "And it's alright...I've woken up confused in my bed before." He chuckled softly.

Sera truly loved this. Danny was so close with her and she adored it.
"Silly," she whispered as she nuzzled her face against the base of his neck while she stayed put. She held her hands loosely around him as they laid together that morning. She knew he'd need to get up and get moving soon, but right now she just got to bask in his love and warmth.

Danny only smiled and nuzzled his face into her soft hair. It wasn't quite his usual time to get up yet, so he lingered a while longer. It was when he heard his mother beginning to stir downstairs in order to get breakfast ready that he finally decided it was time to get up.
"I guess I need to go and do my duties," he pointed out, very slowly starting to move.

Sera, in turn reached out to hold a little tighter to Danny. She quickly grasped him and held him to her a little harder.
"You don't need to go anywhere just yet..." she whispered. "Just... five more minutes...." They hadn't slept in the same bed together in so long and she just wanted some more time with him.

Danny wasn't expecting to be restrained and so lost his balance and fell backwards onto the bed again. It was a little surprising and strange, but he didn't mind really. He supposed he could spare five more minutes and so resettled beside her.
"If you say so," he chuckled softly, feeling his body trying to resist getting up as well.

Sera giggled and then moved to kissing at Danny's face and neck. She felt so utterly rejuvinated to just be able to stay by him.
She found his lips and suckled at his bottom lip a little before moving to truly kiss him. Whenever she had her fill, she pulled back to look at him and grinned.
"Alright, let's start the day," she happily beamed.
