Welcome to Gaia! ::

"I'm fine," Danny assured her as they strolled along a hallway they had already been down a couple of times before. "When were you wanting to go to the kareoke bar though," he asked. He supposed her intentions might have been for much later since they had just eaten and probably wouldn't want to eat again for a while.
Sera shrugged her shoulders.
"I dunno, whenever you wanted to I guess," Sera answered Danny and then stopped to look up at him. She led them over to sit by one of the large indoor fountains, mainly to rest her feet for a second. She peered around at everyone else that was indoors on this day, finding such a large group of people.
Danny thought for a moment, supposing they would go later. He had thought they might eat there as well, but they had just eaten a little while ago. Sitting down, he allowed Sera to rest as he looked around as well before asking a question.
"Would you like to go back to the room and get cleaned up a bit before we go," he inquired.
Sera peered down at what she was wearing and thought quietly to herself. Was that a hint that she needed to get a little more dolled up to go out to a bar with Danny?
She wasn't wearing any makeup... maybe he wanted her to wear some...
"I guess so," she replied. Maybe it was also a hint that she needed to fix her hair or brush her teeth.
"We don't have to if you don't want to," Danny assured her. "I just thought that I should at least take a shower, since I haven't gotten one in a while. I might smell a bit..."
And he honestely suspected he might even though Sera hadn't said anything about it. Also, he thought it might at least make up for not having any nicer clothes to wear.
Sera looked up at Danny.
"I don't believe you smell," she told him. "But if you want to get a shower, then we can. Perhaps I should do something different with my hair anyway and put on some make-up."
She stood to her feet and then smoothed out her sundress. Once she brushed her hair back behind her, one could see her tanned shoulders. She noticed that her bra strap had slipped and she replaced it under the strap of the dress so that it couldn't be seen.
Danny raised a brow, not feeling that she needed to do anything different because she looked nice enough already.
"I think you look fine," he told her, but if she really wanted to change her appearance a little bit, he wouldn't stop her. He didn't control her after all.
He stood to his feet as well, noting her actions, but saying or doing nothing. When she was ready though, he led her back to the elevator so they could ascend back up to Aunt Rose's flat.
Sera went back up with Danny and once they arrived she did fix her hair a little more and give herself some make-up. It wasn't much, but she added some white eyeshadow and a little bit of lip gloss.
While Danny showered, she waited out on the balcony.
She peered out toward the traffic, but didn't really pay attention to it. Instead, she was busy thinking about how tonight would go. She was really nervous. What if they went and they didn't have a good time?
Danny showered quickly, although he made sure to scrub himself well, before putting on some clean clothes. He was more excited than nervous really and hoped he could somehow impress Sera with what little musical talent he had, although she had never said anything about it before. And he also hoped she wouldn't be too shy to show off either, good or bad. He was curious to know how she might do if she dared to step up on stage.
"Ready," he asked after finding her on the balcony. A wide grin brightened his face.
Sera looked up as she saw Danny and heard him speak to her. His great smile made her blush ever so deeply across her nose and cheeks.
She nodded her head though and stood up while she flirted her hair back out of her face, although her black bangs wanted to come back over her blue eyes.
"I'm ready."
As she walked on up to leave the place she noticed Danny and smiled.
"You smell nice," she commented.
"Well, I would hope so," Danny chuckled as he took her hand.
Bowen watched them discreetly from the couch, a little surprised and confused, although his expression remained blank.
The two of them headed out of the apartment and down to the elevator.
"Course, you look as nice as ever," Danny told her. "You didn't have to change much."
Sera blushed once again and let her bangs fall over her face as she tried to turn away so he wouldn't see her goofy expression.
"You're too nice," she told him. She didn't believe she had done anything to deserve such compliments, for her father had taught her that she had to do something in order to get a compliment.
She kept her hand in his as they went on down the elevator and then found the level that the karaoke bar was on.
"Just speakin' the truth," Danny insisted as they descended onto the correct level then started out once more for their destination.
Danny squeezed her hand affectionately and was still rather excited about going to the bar to see what would happen.
Sera brushed off Danny's comment with a small smile, but stayed silent as they walked the rest of the way. Once they finally got the the bar, it was actually very large. The bar was off to the side while they had a stage, for they hadn't started the karaoke just yet.
The place was dimly lit and had a romantic side to it that Sera hadn't been expecting. She went on up to the bar instead of finding a table right off, for she wanted to get something to drink first.
DAnny followed her, taking in the few and ultimately liking what he saw. He also hadn't expected such a romantic ambiance, but at the same time, it didn't really bother him at all.
"I wonder where the sign up is," he pondered aloud, mostly to himself than to anyone else.
