Welcome to Gaia! ::

"You want to sit down," Danny inquired. "Bowen can scoot over."
"Or she could just sit in your lap," Bowen muttered, although he was kidding. Still, he didn't feel like scooting over either.
"Or you can do that," Danny replied, taking him seriously. He didn't mind either way.
Sera stood there a moment, as if thinking. She did want to sit by Danny and he seemed okay with it...
Easily Sera moved around the side of the couch and sat down in Danny's lap. She sat on his leg to begin with, but easily she let herself slide to sit a little more between his legs as she leaned her back against his chest.
She didn't want to make him uncomfortable, for that was one of her top priorities.
"Am I okay here?" she asked softly.
"Mmhmm..." Danny answered thoughtfully as she brought herself closer against him. He was trying to keep his thoughts from wandering as he kept his concentration on the screen. This was probably the closest they had been since they had last embraced at his house during her troubled times.
Bowen eyed them a moment, seriously not having expected that. He seemed a little surprised actually, but after a moment returned to his work.
Sera closed her eyes for a moment as she leaned her head against Danny's shoulder. Danny was warm and comfortable. Even though his last bath had been the previous night, he still smelled nice. It wasn't exactly a 'soap' nice, or a 'shampoo' nice, but more along the lines of Danny's own scent.
Sera rolled her shoulders a moment, making sure she was comfortable before opening her eyes again to watch the screen. She was very much enjoying herself. Since Sera had opened up to Danny, she found that she was enjoying the risk that she took. Of course she felt Danny as a trustworthy and honorable guy, one that she had never known existed. She was more than happy to share her personal space with him and to be with him.
Danny managed to keep his mind decently unclouded while they sat together and he accustomed himself to the feeling of Sera's body lightly against his. If perhaps there had been more skin touching between them it might had been much more difficult.
It wasn't long before Miss Rose came in though, with the tinkling of little bells pattering behind her. Apparently it was Mitzy in her newest outfit.
"Oh, geez, I keep forgetting you guys are here," she said. "You startled me when I came in." She laughed hoarsely.
Sera stayed still against Danny, for she didn't want to jostle him or anything of the sort. But whenever Ms. Rose came in, Sera turned in Danny's lap, putting pressure against one of his legs rather than both.
"I love Mitzy's new outfit," she pointed out with a bright smile. Easily, she moved to get off of Danny in case he wanted to get up or readjust himself in any form. She picked up her glass and then got Danny's as well.
"Would you like some more lemonade?" she asked him before heading to the kitchen.
"No thank you," Danny replied with a smile.
Miss Rose raised a brow at Sera as she came towards the kitchen, but still smiled.
"Just got her that today for bein' good at the groomer today," she said. "She's normally a little bouncy, but today she did very well."
Sera smiled as she moved to gently pet the dog's head.
"Well then she deserves a reward," Sere said softly and then moved to get the lemonade out of the cooler. Once she had her glass filled, she made her way back to the couch. After sitting her glass down on the side table she made herself comfortable in Danny's lap once more.
Sera stayed quiet and comfortable for a long time, but after watching the screen so much, she laid her head against Danny's shoulder and closed her eyes to rest.
After she had settled into home, Miss Rose came to join them watching the screen, and also asked a few questions about how they day had gone and what sort of progress they had made. It wasn't long, though before Danny noticed that Sera seemed to be ready to go to sleep.
"You alright," he asked her softly, wondering if mybe she was ready for her bath and then bed.
Sera picked her head up whenever she was asked a question. It seemed that she had indeed fallen to sleep, but after she was able to wake herself back up, she was beginning to feel a little perky.
"Hmm?" she asked and peered around. "Oh, I'm sorry. Yeah, I'm okay..." She peered at what time it was and noticed that it was getting late.
"Perhaps I should get up and get my bath though, that way you can go ahead and get yours," she mentioned to Danny.
"If you like," Danny told her. "It don't matter to me."
Danny actually was accustomed to getting a bath maybe two or three times a week, so he wasn't really planning on getting a bath that evening. Therefore, Sera wasn't really keeping him from anything.
Sera nodded with a quiet 'okay' then scuttled off to go and take her bath. She didn't stay in long and afterwards she changed into her tank top that she had worn that day and a different pair of underwear that sort of matched the tank top. She then crawled in bed knowing that if Danny was going to get a bath that he'd come and take one.
But Sera laid there in bed after her short bath and peered up toward the ceiling, thinking to herself. She felt... odd and she had felt that way all through her bath. It was as if her body wanted something and it was making her uncomfortable, yet at the same time she knew she wanted it as well. She squirmed a little and tried to readjust herself, but it was to no avail and she sighed.
Danny didn't go to take a bath, although he did notice that Sera went in and didn't come out for a while. He was starting to become a little tired himself as well, so he decided it was about time to go to bed. Aunt Rose already had, and only Bowen was left, as usual, so Danny stood up and headed into Sera's room to tel her goodnight.
"Ready for bed," he inquired, a little relieved that she was actually dressed this time when he came in.
Sera had squirmed once more, but looked up as Danny came in. She was already under the covers and ready for sleep. She nodded her head.
"Yeah, I guess," she told him. She would have much rather stayed up and talked to Danny, but she didn't want to keep him from his sleep.
She sat up a little more, her tanktop covering her as she did so.
"Are you not going to get a bath?" she asked, noting that he hadn't brought anything with him.
"Wasn't plannin' on it," Danny admitted as he sat down on the edge of her bed. He wondered for a moment if that sounded really disgusting to her, but as far as he was concerned he didn't think he had really gotten dirty that day. Therefore, there was really no point in bathing, unless he just wished to wash his face before settling down. "We normally don't unless we just really get dirty...and on Sundays."
