Welcome to Gaia! ::

Danny raised a brow and chuckled thinking it sounded a little silly, but he nodded, deciding to humor Sera.
"Alright, but be prepared to have an ugly baby if I'm the father," he teased as he stepped up to the machine that she pointed out, taking note of their hands a moment. "What do I do, just look inta this li'l camera?"
Sera nodded. She reached up and touched the screen to begin and then they both had their pictures taken. Sera then began to fill out her information while Danny filled out his on a matching screen next to her's.
For parent's hair color she answered blonde for both. For parent's eye color she answered blue. Then it went on to things about herself while the computer analyzed their facial structures together.
Sera had always thought this so interesting because it was new.
Danny's mother had brown hair, while his father's hair had been a mousy blonde. The former's eyes were brown and the latter's were green. His answers were all rather simple for Danny didn't really suppose there was much to himself. He was just simple, old, Danny.
"What happens now," he asked whenever they were done.
Sera hit the button that said done as she looked over Danny's information.
It took the computer a moment and then it came up with four pictures.
"Oh look!" Sera gleamed happily. It came up with a picture of a baby boy that had blonde hair and green eyes. It showed him when he was born, when he turned three, when he turned five, and then when he was ten.
"He's so cute!" she
"Musta got that from you," Danny pointed out with a smile.
Even though the pictures were only simulations, something about it filled him with a small flare of pride, as if it might really be his son one day. He peered down at Sera to get a better look at her reaction. Once she had gotten used to him, it seemed she had opened up very well.
Sera gleamed, for this was a lot of fun and she jittered with happiness in her spot.
"Oh look at that one as he gets older! He has your jawline! This is so cool!" Sera had never seen technology like this just for fun, it had always been for other purposes with more serious things.
She beamed happily, then as their pictures printed out she took them. They were all doubles so that they could each keep one.
"Oh, here's an extra," she commented. It was a picture that the camera had taken of their faces once the children showed up on the screen. They both seemed to be real happy and Sera had a broad smile upon her face.
Danny was never very fond of pictures of himself, but he thought Sera looked rather nice.
"I don't think I've ever seen so big a smile on your face," he pointed out triumphantly. "You look right nice." He beamed.
Sera couldn't help but blush at Danny's words.
"I don't normally smile," she shugged as she looked through the pictures. "These are yours," she told him as she handed him the six pictures and then kept her own six. There were two of them with the before and after, then the four of the child. Sera seemed very pleased as she picked her bags back up and then started off with Danny again.
"Anywhere else you want to go?" she asked him.
"Well, maybe you should smile more often," Danny replied. Then he answered her question. "No where in particular," he said with a shrug. "We can go where ever you want to go, or we can head back up to Bowen's Aunt's room."
It didn't really matter to him either way.
"Can we go back into that lingerie store?" Bas asked Danny. "I've been thinking about it and I really wanna get that set that I spied. Remember, the red and pink one?" she asked him.
"Can we go back in there?"
She stopped to look up at him a minute. "Then we can get a cup of coffee or something and head back up to see how Bowen's doing."
Danny found himself blushing a rosy color when she asked about going back to the lingerie.
"Um...sure...whatever you need," he replied with a hard swallow and a small chuckle. He might need to tape his mouth shut when he went to sleep that night.
Sera smiled.
"Thanks," she told him, knowing that she couldn't possibly afford all this if it wasn't for him. The two of them went on back to the shop and she picked out what she was hunting for. She rethought herself, but in the end got what she wanted. She liked it anyway and it was for a good price since it had been on the clearance rack.
"Danny, have you noticed," she pointed out. "That these people... well... they're shaped kind of like toads?" Sera asked. She had noticed it and it almost made her laugh. "All the clothes I get are so cheap because they can't sell them since all these rich people are so .. well large... and weird shaped..."
Danny hadn't really noticed until she pointed it out, but he supposed the more he looked the it seemed she was right. Most of these people were rather large in stature, with wide mouths and beady little eyes.
"I sure hope, Bowen's Aunt doesn't look like a toad," he said, as he sat and thought about it. As they walked around he began looking around for a coffee shop like Sera had requested.
"Heh, me too," Sera told Danny. The more she thought about it, the more she began to get turned off by the thought of coffee.
"Y'know if you don't want any, we don't have to get coffee," she told him. "I'm sure Bowen's aunt has a little coffee maker anyway," she reminded him with a smile. Also, she didn't want Danny spending any more money. "I kind of changed my mind about coffee anyway."
"Whatever you like," Danny replied, although she was probably right. He didn't doubt that Miss Rose had a coffee maker in her flat somewhere. "It doesn't matter much to me."
He smiled down at her and waited for her to lead, whether she was ready to go back or wanted to look around a little more.
