Welcome to Gaia! ::

Danny smiled and chuckled before kissing her forehead, then cheek and finally mimicked her own actions as well. His hands roamed her torso, gently and curiously. He was very much at peace at the moment with her there.
Sera had discovered that this was nice. To just be able to touch and know one another without really expecting anything made her feel better about herself and her relationship. She listened to Danny's little grunts and then her own along with their breathing pattern. She could hear her heart beat as if it were in her head, but it only put her back to ease.
"I love you," she whispered.
"I love you too," Danny replied with a warm smile as he kissed her again. He had found this very satisfying as well. He had moved to loom over, but still kept his movements and actions thoughtful and gentle, as if he were simply exploring a new territory. He wasn't cautious, just curious.
Sera responded easier whenever Danny was slow and gentle, but if she were in the mood, then she could be rough and quickly as well.
She ran her knee along his torso and then allowed her foot to breeze against his hips. She kissed him again and again, wherever her lips could reach of his.
This continued for a little while, Danny's actions becoming a little rougher if any, until he finally took her that night. But soon they both settled down to sleep. He predicted it might be a busy day the next day and was sure they probably would need some rest for so much plundering. He was excited though and still very proud that Sera agreed with his idea.
Even though Sera really hadn't been in the mood to give herself away to Danny, she could tell by his actions that was the wisest thing to do. Finally, she was happy to settle down and sleep. She had become very tired.
The next morning, she was up early to help Danny with feeding all of the animals and seeing what needed to be done before breakfast.
Since she had admitted interest in learning the ropes of the farm, Danny showed her the simple steps of feeding up, which animals needed what and how much. Then they went in for breakfast. He was rather surprised that she had gotten up early and went out with him too. After breakfast they all began rummaging through their possessions for things to be rid of.
Sera happily went along with Danny and took note of what animal received what and how much and where it was fed at. Then after breakfast, she began to rummage through her stuff, which she was sad that she didn't have a lot of.
All that she had was destroyed back in No Man's Land. Ever since then she had been buying up things for herself and all of that was clothes. She actually became very upset over the fact that she literally had nothing to give.
"Don't be upset," Danny insisted as he was going through all of his clothes as well at the moment. "I think I'd see it...as a good thing you have nothing to give. It means you never got anything you didn't need. And you ain't wasteful, like the rest of us." He pulled out a pair of corderoy pants which he eyed suspiciously. "I don't remember these," he muttered quietly. "I doubt I could fit into them now."
Sera sighed as she sat back.
"But I feel bad that I have nothing to give..." she remarked. "Maybe... I'll just donate a thousand dollars or something..." she sighed as she sat back from looking through her trunk. She realized that this must've been in a sense what it felt like to be poor. You didn't have anything worthless because you used everything. Still, Sera remembered the things she had lost and sighed as she stayed sitting there on her knees in front of her clothing trunk.
"I feel like you don't need to donate nothin,'" Danny insisted. "I mean, you already personally donated time to each clinic yourself. And because they mean so much to you, you've inspired others to give too. So you've given more than you think already." He smiled as he added another shirt to the pile.
He noticed that a lot of the clothes he was taking out were nice, but too small for him.
"True..." she told him and sighed. The little bird hopped inside its box, wanting to be let out and very badly. Sera moved over to take the top off the box and it hopped out.
"Sorry," she remarked to it. "I'd hate for you to have experienced what happened last night," she giggled.
"Psh, I don't think it would care," Danny replied with a smile as he eyed the little bird for a moment but otherwise had not response towards it. "Does that thing even have a name," he asked, realizing that she had indeed never named it. Or at least he never remembered her naming it.
"Mildred," Sera remarked to Danny with a smile. "But the thought of just having something else around while... um... yeah..." Sera said a little sheepishly.
She smiled though and sat the little bird back on the chair by the window.
"Mildred," Danny inquired, thinking that a rather strange name for a little bird. But he didn't argue the fact and shrugged.
By that time, however, he had finished going through his clothes and had all of that put aside and folded up.
