Welcome to Gaia! ::

Danny was still awake whenever Sera finally came up. He hadn't been expecting her to stay downstairs so long and was even about to go and see if she were alright. Then she arrived just in time. As she laid down, he scooted close to her and wrapped his arms around her shoulders and resting his head against hers.
"Hey you," she whispered as she moved a hand to gently rub against his hair and around his scalp. She wasn't aware that he'd still be awake by the time she came upstairs, but she was glad he hadn't gone on to slumber.
"Hey," he whispered then smiled as she turned towards him. He kissed her cheek before settling back down again in order to sleep. He was rather tired, but had needed Sera in order to complete the package.
He gave her an affectionate squeeze and closed his eyes once again.
Sera was happy to be there with Danny and it didn't take her too long to fall asleep, slumbering peacefully and happily. The next morning, she made plans with Delilah and then served the breakfast she had prepared along with the lunch whenever that time rolled around.
She then asked Danny about giving her a ride to town so that she could check out some of the shops around.
Danny made sure there wasn't anything else that needed to be done immediately before taking Sera out to town. That way they would have more time and he wouldn't have to rush back to do anything.
"Anything in particular, you're lookin' for," he inquired as they rumbled down the road.
"Tickets to the city," Sera smiled. "Delilah and I want to go together, just like a little girl time, y'know?" she told Danny. "Then I figured you'd have some time to yourself as well," she beamed. "Delilah's interested in visiting some of the clinics and checking up on the girls with me."
"We need to go to the train station for that," Danny told her. "Not town."
The train station and the towns were two different places, but the main way of going to the station was through town.
"Is that what y'all were talkin' about last night," he asked curiously. "Is she going crazy here or something and needs to get out? I didn't think it'd really make her that upset."
"What oh no... it was something very different than just that. But I'm not sure if she wants me talking about it. Girl stuff, y'know?" she remarked to Danny. She smiled though. "But then I also wanted to shop for a little while in town. I wish they had more restaurants than they do..." she sighed.
"Is it something that I should be worried about," Danny inquired, wondering what sort of 'girl stuff' could be upsetting. Of course, he had one guess, but he just wanted to make sure it wasn't anything else major. "And did you wanna shop before or after gettin' tickets?"
He thought about it for a moment. He was sure Delilah would enjoy traveling with Sera.
"And you said it's just gonna be the two of you," he asked. "No one else?"
He knew Sera had traveled a lot by herself, but he still didn't like the thought of them going by themselves. He would have felt better if they had someone to go and protect them.
"Umm... I guess not right now," Sera said softly. "So don't worry about it. And yes, just the two of us. We'll be fine, I promise," Sera remarked. "We'll call you every morning and every night. Would that be okay with you?"
Danny sighed as he thought for a moment. Meanwhile they were bypassing the town on their left.
"Yes, I guess so," he asnwered at last. "As long as you let me know where you are and what you're doin.;" The train staion wasn't too much farther away and they arrived within a few more minutes of bypassing town.
"I will, I promise," Sera told Danny as she leaned over to kiss his cheek. She kept her hand rested on his leg and every now and then would trail her hand up his thigh, letting her fingers trace along him.
But finally they arrived at the train station and she hopped out in order to go and pre-order tickets.
Danny smiled, feeling slightly reassured by her promise. Her touch also got his mind off worrying until they reached the train station and had to get out.
"Which city are you goin' to," he inquired as he came up to the ticket booth with her and whipped out his wallet. Of course, he would be paying for their tickets so she could save hers for later.
Sera placed her hands on her hips and looked up at Danny.
"I'm not going to tell you where until you put your wallet up," Sera told him. "This is mine and Delilah's trip and I won't have you paying for a cent of it. Now go wait in the car," she remarked very seriously. She even went as far as crossing her arms over her chest while she looked at him.
"If you don't tell me, then I'll choose a city for you," Danny insisted rather seriously, although he found this amusing if anything. "Look. I just wanna pay for these two tickets to get you started. This way you can save your money for something else like a nice dinner or a shopping trip or an emergency." He took another step towards the ticket booth.
The receptionist watched wonderingly, possibly amused although he had probably seen fights like this before.
