No Man's Land (Private)

Danny made sure they were both warmly wrapped up before they officially settled down for the night. He wasn't exactly tired at the moment, but he was sure he wouldn't have a problem going to sleep. And he knew waking up to the sunrise there was very beautiful as well.

Sera did sleep and actually it may have been dark, but it was still pretty early out under the stars. As Sera slept, she slept peacefully, enjoying being able to be there with Danny. She would have continued to sleep on into the day as comfortable as she was too.

Danny slept long and comfortably as well. It got rather chilly during the night, but he would carefully get up now and then to make sure the fire was kindled. He awoke early the next morning when the sun was just beginning to rise over the trees and warm the current residents of the clearing.

Whenever Danny stirred, Sera would normally wake and that morning was no different. In a sleepy stupor, she watched the sun rise with Danny, but after that, she really wanted to go back to sleep, having become cold once more and was just plain tired.

"Good morning," Danny said when he noticed she was awake and he kissed her cheek. He smiled and gave her an affectionate squeeze. "How did you sleep," he asked her. He was very well rested and thought the night had gone very well, even if it wasn't quite her thing.

Sera groaned, showing that she still didn't want to get up just yet.
"Mornin' "she was able to say to him as she rolled over onto her belly against the warm spot she had made on the sleeping bag.

Danny only chuckled before moving to stand and pick her up. He carried her, sleeping bag, blankets and all into their tent so they wouldn't be bothered by the rising sun and he settled down with her again. He cocooned them together in their coverings and closed his eyes to rest with her a little longer.

Sera was happy for the move into the tent and snuggled up close to Danny. She pulled his arms around her and then tried to fold herself within him. It didn't take her long to fall asleep once again in this strange place.

Danny could see that she was obviously happy about this, so he was glad that he had done the right thing. He also began to snooze again and did so for a couple more hours before his stomach could no longer stand it. He did his best not to disturb Sera as he got up and dressed himself then went out to rekindle the fire and make them some breafast, or by this time, it was probably brunch.

Sera continued to sleep and would until someone rudely woke her. And she had that chance as well. Fidel came and began to bathe her face with his unnaturally large tongue. Sera at first seemed to be enjoying it as she moaned and reached up to run a hand along the dog's face. But gave a shocked squeal as she opened her eyes to see the dog. She nearly knocked the tent over as she hit the side just trying to get away.

Danny jumped a little at Sera's scream for he hadn't been expecting it. IT seriously disturbed him as he jumped up and rushed over to the tent, not having noticed Fidel sneak in.
"Are you alright," he exclaimed. "What's wrong?" He poked his head inside only to notice Fidel and he began to put things together. "Oh," he chuckled. "Did he scare you?"

"A little..." Sera remarked as she kept her hand on her chest, trying to calm herself down. "I thought he was you at first, but I couldn't understand why your tongue was so large..."
She cast her frightened eyes over to Danny as Fidel excited the tent, going out to look for food.

Danny still laughed at her, covering his mouth so as not to be obnoxious about it while Fidel slipped by him. "I'm sorry," he said. "But that's funny."
He knelt down inside the tent in order to see to Sera for a moment, to make sure she was alright.
"But i guess it was all just wishful thinking in the end," he teased.

"Wishful thinking..." Sera remarked with a 'pft' "If I really wanted wishful thinking, I'd be wishing for something else other than size," she told him as she crossed her arms. She looked around and then grabbed the sleeping bag in order to wipe at her face.

Danny wasn't quite sure what Sera meant by that, so he just chuckled again as he watched her a moment.
"Well, obviously Fidel was bored and wanted to talk to you," he pointed out with a chuckle. "Are you okay, darlin?' You want me to kiss it and make it better?" He shuffled closer to her, puckering his lips and kissing at her.
