Welcome to Gaia! ::

Danny watched his message, a little confused at first, then astounded. He had been drinking from a class of cool water since he had worked up a sweat, despite the cooling weather, but by the end of the message he had dropped his glass and it had shattered on the floor.
"You okay," inquired Donovan, who was passing by going to his room.
"Yeah..." Danny replied. "I-I...I'll get it in a second." But instead of moving to clean up the glass and water he closed his door instead before going to rewind the message, trying to make he hadn't missed something important. He was confounded...confused...He hadn't even talked to her in these past couple of weeks. How could this be happening?
"Kyle, that was low. We're not dating," Sera stated as soon as she had the chance to get Kyle alone.
"Might as well be," Kyle remarked. Sera tried to push Kyle away from her whenever he roughly grabbed her and brought her back to him. "If you want to stay in this band, then I'd suggest that you cut the crap," he hissed.
Sera furrowed her brow.
"How dare you!" she remarked to him. But at that instance, another camera came up to them with a few more squirming reporters and Sera had to chill out.
Danny sighed and peered down at his glass. He supposed he had no reason to be really upset. She couldn't help how busy she was, but he had really been looking forward to seeing her and she had promised she would come. He wasn't sure if it was a result of his surprise, or if it was the heat, but he suddenly realized that he wasn't feeling very good either. He sat down on the edge of his bed and took a deep breath. He was actually feeling rather nauseus at the moment.
Sera was glad for the time she got to go back to her hotel room. Just when she thought she was done with Kyle, he came knocking on her door.
The next hour wasn't the greatest of Sera's life and although she truly wanted to call Danny, she was sure that she would probably cry and knew that he didn't want that. She wanted to go and be with Danny, to leave this all behind, but she couldn't. Instead, she went to ice her shoulder after Kyle had left.
Danny was feeling a little dizzy but was able to get himself back together long enough to clean up his mess and return Sera's message.
"I'm really sorry you can't come to the Festival," he said. "I was really lookin' forward to seein' you but...I know your busy...I hope everything else is goin' alright for you. Just...call me when you can. I don't care how late it is. I just want to talk to you. I miss you." He ended the transmission before suddenly realize that he was very nauseus. He got up and rushed out.
After getting something to eat and changing, Sera found her bed and plopped down. She hugged her pillow momentarily as she just sat there by herself in the silence, then she noticed her phone as it vibrated. She checked it, seeing that she had a message, but was afraid to check it. It took her an hour just to get up the courage in order to hear what Danny had to say to her, then in the end, it only made her cry.
It was a surprising when Danny discovered later that evening that he had somehow come down with the flu. He had a fever and chills, which he hadn't noticed much during the day since he had been working so hard. He had also experienced a little dizziness but had dismissed it without much thought. Finally in the end he rushed to the bathroom to throw up. It was a surprise to all of them really. Luckily he hadn't eaten much lately and so there wasn't much to eject.
When he was sure he felt a little better, his brother helped him back to his bedroom to lay down. He hoped it was just a day bug, but no one could be sure.
Sera ended up going to bed without trying to contact Danny again that night. She was very tired, but fell asleep clutching her phone. She was woken to the sound of someone knocking at her door as well.
Sera groaned and opened her eyes to see it was still dark. Her illuminated phone read that it was just three am. Although Sera didn't want to get up, she wondered if something was wrong. She stumbled through the dark, having left her phone somewhere between the sheets.
Although Sera would wish that she wouldn't have answered the door, for she only found a very drunken Kyle.
Danny had really hoped Sera would contact him that night and he stayed up very late, despite how tired and sick he felt hoping that at any moment he would get a call. Eventually he fell into a very restless sleep, constantly disturbed coughing and fits of nauseua, during which he would have to get up and stumble down the hallway to the bathroom. And with nothing in his stomach, he would only end up dry heaving.
How could this day get any worse?
Sera found herself in one of the hall closets.
She felt small and helpless. She felt as if she were back with her father. She wanted to call Danny... but she didn't want him worrying about her.. he had enough to worry about without her going and messing up.
Whenever Sera would peer out the crack in the door, she noticed that it was daylight, but Kyle was passed out on her bed and she was too scared to try and creep past him, so she stayed in the closet.
Needless to say Danny didn't get much sleep that night. His coughing, chills, and nauseua had only permitted him a few minutes of sleep at a time. His mother was constantly up checking on him as well, giving him medicing and a cold rag, making sure he was warm. He wished she wouldn't though. HE didn't want her tired.
The next morning Danny couldn't tell if he really felt any better or not. He checked his communicator to find that he didn't have any missed calls. He hated the thought of waking her up, but he really wanted to try contacting Sera. So he dialed her number and let it ring.
Sera jumped whenever she heard the jingle go off on her phone. Her eyes went wide and she suddenly saw the slumbering figure on the bed wake. Sera closed her eyes, knowing that was Danny's ringtone.
"Hello?" the boyish voice answered as he sat up on the bed. Sera hugged herself in the closet, fearful to leave, but wanting to take the from from Kyle.
Danny didn't answer immediately, not quite sure what to think of the scene he saw. He saw Kyle's face on the telecommunicator. The man looked as if he had a bad hangover, something Danny knew pretty well. Of course, Danny was sure he didn't look any better, as sick as he was.
"Where's Sera," he asked. "Is she alright?" He didn't really understand why Kyle would have Sera's communicator.
Kyle rubbed his face, still in a slightly sleepy stupor.
"I dunno... she's around here somewhere. I'm not quite sure why you'd care," he muttered as he looked toward the screen. "She was supposed to have broken up with you last night," Kyle stated. Sera hesitated from the closet, but was reluctant at first.
Finally, whenever Kyle was about to speak again did she emerge.
"No, Kyle, shut up!" she remarked loudly.
"Well good morning little whore. I know you slept well," Kyle remarked to Sera.
"What are you talkin' about," Danny demanded. "And don't call her a whore, you drunken b-----d!"
Danny sat up as he peered down at the telecommunicator. He was so confused as to what was going on right now, but he certainly didn't like where all of this was going. Because of growing excitement, he also realized he was beginning to feel nauseus once again.
