No Man's Land (Private)

Sera tucked her face into Danny's chest, feeling as if she could wrap herself within him. He was warm and comfortable, two things that Sera loved about being so close to someone.
"You always do," she whispered to him as she clung to him. Just laying at his side was enough to send Sera's heart into knots and let it jump for the sky. She closed her eyes, almost feeling as if she could fall to sleep in this position.

Danny smile and said no more, noticing that she seemed a little tired and he noticed that he felt slightly drowsy himself. He supposed he really just felt incredibly lazy after not doing much that day. They had only hung about that morning, then they had gone out to eat and now they were just lying around on the couch. That was alright though. They both deserved a little rest for the while.

It didn't take Sera long to fall asleep there with Danny. She had tried to keep herself awake, listening to the soft drone of the screen that sat in the common area of the nice room.
Sera knew that she would have a lot of work to do the next day and probably wouldn't have that much free time with Danny. So in her mind, now was the perfect oppertunity to just relax with him.

Danny never quite fell to sleep; one because he wasn't really tired and also his internal clock didn't think the timing was right either. Instead he just silently watched the screen. This wasn't quite what he had in mind whenever he had thought he would come visit Sera and spend time with her. But in the end he was with her and that was all that really mattered. Perhaps she'd be up for doing something a little later. As for the next day when he knew she'd be very busy, he wasn't sure what he'd do to occupy his time. That's what he was trying to figure out.

Sera slept for a good hour or so there with Danny. She felt at home in his grasp and was glad that he was okay with her just laying all over him. Whenever she woke, she yawned and then stretched, making sure that she wasn't going to hit Danny.
She turned so that she could look at him, then wrapped her arms around him again in order to hug him and kiss his cheek.

Danny turned his head away from the screen when he realized that Sera had woken. There was a slight kink in his neck now from having it turned in one direction for so long and he was a tad hungry as well. He personally hoped that it hadn't been his stomach growling that woke her up.
"Feeling better," he asked her as he kissed her cheek in return and gave her an affectionate squeeze. He smiled as he moved a hand to brush it over her hair.

Sera smiled toward Danny.
"Yes," she answered to him. "I feel much better. Did you really just sit there while I slept?" she asked. "You totally had permission to get up and do whatever," she told him.
"I'll bet you're hungry," she laughed to Danny.

"Well I didn't wanna disturb you," Danny pointed out. "Plus I was really comf'torble too." He chuckled. "But...yeah...I'mma little hungry." He blushed, finding it a little embarrassing to have to admit that, for he didn't want to feel like a burden on Sera while he was visiting here. "I could make us something." He suggested. "Course, I'm not an amazing cook, but I'm not bad either."

"Silly, of course I know you're a good cook," Sera teased Danny. She moved to get off of him since he did probably want to move.
"Go ahead. Cook me something big boy," She told him as she stretched and smiled toward him.

Danny wrinkled his nose teasingly at her before batting at her cheek and moving to sit up.
"You sure you don't wanna to help and make sure I don't mess up," he asked as he stood to his feet. He laughed again as he shuffled around to the kitchen and began searching around. He didn't know where everything was, so he wanted to try and familarize himself.
Soon he was pulling things out as he found them, deciding on his original idea of baking a cake. He really wanted something sweet.

"Nope. I have full faith in you. Besides, I normally like to get too involved in things like cooking and I'd totally take over," Sera laughed. "So remember that next time I go to help you do anything. I'll just end up taking it from you," she giggled.
"Can you toss me a beer from the fridge though?" she asked him as she sat back down on the couch.

"I'm not gonna toss it at you," Danny pointed out. "But I will hand you one." He chuckled. He was sure that if he tossed it, it would be thouroughly shaken and then it might explode all over her.
He opened the refrigerator, pulling out a few other things he might need first, like the eggs and milk before last extracting a beer then going to hand it to Sera as she requested.
"Do I get a tip," he teased.

Sera teased Danny and moved so that she could kiss his lips.
"I'll give you a tip," she seductively remarked as she plucked the can from his fingers and brought it closer to herself. She smiled up toward him though. Although she was interested in what he was cooking, she'd leave him alone until he was finished.

Danny's lips curled slowly into a thoughtful smile as he eyed Sera a moment, leaning towards her a little. He seemed that he might kiss her a little deeper in return, but instead just pecked her lips, teasing her in a away as well. Then he pulled away and started towards the kitchen again to begin his cooking.
He really didn't mind if she came and helped, or took over rather. At least they'd be doing something together.

Sera waited, thinking that Danny might stay a little longer, but he quickly moved back toward his kitchen. Sera only grinned as she watched him while he meandered away. But, she knew that she would get him soon enough.
"Mhmm... go back to your cooking, male," Sera called to him in a tease.
