Welcome to Gaia! ::

"Yes, I did," Danny replied as he stepped inside a little more and went to sit on the edge of her bed. "Thank you." Leaning over, he kissed her cheek and smiled. "Did you sleep well? These beds are unusually comf'terble," he pointed out.
"I would've slept better if you would've been in here with me," Sera whispered, still slightly asleep. She blushed whenever Danny pecked her cheek. She curled up and moved to roll onto her back so that she could look up toward him.
She reached up in order to bring his head down to her so that she could kiss him.
"Yeah, I'm sure," Danny replied a little sarcastically. "You might not've slept at all."
He kissed her in return as he moved to lay beside her when she pulled him down. Easily he slipped his arm around her waist and and hugged her gently.
Sera smirked and kissed Danny in return for a moment.
"As tired as we both were, I imagine that we both would've slept pretty well," she told him, not believing that they could've been up to anything in the way they were the previous night.
She moved her hand in order to scratch along the back of his neck and then around his hair as she moved in to kiss him again. She wondered about what was on the news that morning, for she liked laying in bed and watching the news to see what was going on outside of her little world.
Danny chuckled then rested his head against her shoulder.
"Mm...that feels good..." he said, referring to her scratching his head. "It feels real good." He kissed her back.
And that was one thing that he had noticed since he had arrived there that he felt after being separated for a few weeks he suddenly felt more comfortable being more intimate with her than before. It didn't bother him, it was just something he had noticed.
Sera smiled and kissed him in return. This time though, since the first time he had gotten there, she really kissed him. Before it had been with her lips closed, but now, she felt as if it were a little more appropriate.
She continued to let her hand scratch around his scalp, massaging as she went as well. She was glad that she could please him somehow, for it made her feel useful.
Danny kissed her passionately in return. He was beginning to wonder if maybe laying down had been a bad idea as he started to advance on her. But soon he regained control of himself and just tried to enjoy the moment for what it was. After a few moments though, he pulled away again.
"So when're we s'posed to be headin' out for sushi," he asked. He still wasn't sure if he was particularly excited about eating raw fish, but he would try it for Sera.
Sera snorted lightly at the fact that Danny had pulled away.
"At lunch," she remarked as if saying 'duh'. Lunch was also a few hours away and they still had time for each other. But it seemed that once again, Sera was somehow making Danny uncomfortable.
She moved so that she could reach the remote and turn on the television. She flipped through the channels until she had the morning news and then curled up so that she could just listen to it as she closed her eyes.
"Just makin' sure..." Danny replied, catching a hint of an attitude in her voice. She had never specified and she could have meant they'd be going out at dinner for all he knew.
But it wasn't as if he was finished with her. He just had a question to ask. Even though she turned on the television, he moved to kiss her cheek and the corner of her lips, before fully kissin gher once more.
How Sera wanted to run her lips over her lover's ear in order to just end this straining passion. Sera knew the relief would come whenever they just let each other go... but she didn't want to let Danny down and she didn't want him to feel bad about it.
Finally, Sera pulled away from him after a couple of seconds.
"I should get dressed," she whispered and then moved to sit up a little more properly.
Danny watched Sera, trying to decide if he had seriously done or said something to upset or offend her. He sighed lightly and nodded before sliding off the bed himself and starting towards the door. He was sure she didn't want him in there to watch her.
"Alright," he said. There was a little breakfast left in the kitchen anyway and he deided he might eat it.
Sera half-smiled toward Danny and hugged herself as she watched him after he went. Whenever the door was shut, she went around looking for her clothes. She chose an outfit similar to what she had worn for her first concert. The skirt was a little longer and a little more frilly, but the top was about the same, just a lighter shade.
Sera didn't go out of the room at first, but sat there as she opened her blinds to peer out at the city. She sighed lightly. All she really wanted was to be with Danny. She wondered about the fact of if she would have just stayed with him if they would have been engaged by now, or even married. Then they wouldn't have to worry about how close they got.
Finally, she got up and came on out of her room as she made her way to the kitchen. All of her jewelry was sitting on the counter and so she came to put it all back in. She placed a small chain on her lip ring that connect to her ear lobe. It hung down past her chin and then she put a smaller one to match it on her belly button.
Danny watched her as she came out while he was eating what was left of breakfast. He was rather growing on the bellybutton ring and the lip ring he could tolerate, but the chains he really didn't like. He wasn't sure if he wanted to get close to her face to kiss her now. And he really was considering asking her if she could wear a little something different, just while he was there. But he came to visit...not run her life.
He sighed, trying to bite his tongue.
There was one thing he wondered about though.
"When you go out in public, aren't you s'posed to dress...a little different," he asked. "Just so no one actually knows who you are and you're not bothered by other people?" He wasn't just being nitpicky now. He was quite sure he had heard that about celebrities before.
Sera nodded her head as she pulled a can of beer out from the fridge and popped the tab on it, hearing the soft noise that it made.
"Yes, after the career has taken off a little bit. It's good to become known and let a few magazines know that you're not trying to brush them off. After a few months we'll start to hide from the media, but now, we embrace them," she spoke softly.
She felt over the chains as she took a good swig of the beer.
"Ick, one of the managers wanted me to get used to wearing these, but I'm not too fond of them. They're so heavy," She complained and slipped the chain off her lip and ear. She held it in her hand as she looked at it before sitting it on the counter.
"I didn't like it either," Danny said with some relief and a little amusement. "I'm glad you took it off." It was strange that such a small accessory could really have such a drastic change on one's appearance. When she had put it on, he thought she looked very unattractive, but without it, it was as if a dull veil had been taken off her beautiful face.
Also her mention about the media made him wonder if the paparazzi might be out after them while they were at the sushi bar as well.
