Welcome to Gaia! ::

Sera smiled and giggled.
"Okay, just making sure that we both definatly wanted the same thing," she told him with a grin as she was swung a little higher. She had to admit that she was enjoying this.
"And I'll come visit you whenever I can... and any new photoshoots or CDs that're done, I'll mail them to you first thing... and I'll call you every night," Sera twittered. "Would you like that?" she asked him, not wanting to push herself too hard upon him.
Danny was about to suggest that maybe he should call her, since it was more gentleman-like, but when he stopped to think about it, he remembered she would probably have a very busy schedule and so wouldn't know when to call.
"As long as it's not too late," he said, slightly teasing. "So what's Lizzy gonna do," he asked. "She gonna go to school...or get another job or somethin'?"
Sera nodded her head with a giggle.
"I want her to go to school and get a good education, especially now that I can pay for it. She's too young to work and I'd be horrified to know she was working somewhere that I wasn't sure was safe. But then, I dont' want her becoming a roadie and hooking up with any of my band members," she shorted. "That'd be strange..."
Sera thought for a moment in silence.
"So I think the best option would be school," she nodded her head.
"That would be strange..." Danny agreed and immediately tried to push away the thoughts of the young girl with one of the men he remembered meeting. It wasn't a pleasant mental image. "But you're probably right. I think school would be good for her, if there's nothing else."
Sera nodded with a smile.
"Would you like to play any question Danny?" Sera asked him. "If you don't know, it's a game where you can ask the other person any question in the world, no matter how personal or strange it might be and they have to answer it. You take turns doing it," she told him.
"Would you like to play? We can start out easy."
"Sure," he replied. "Sounds interestin' to me. But you start first. I'm not good at startin' these kinds of things." He chuckled.
He stood behind her and pushed her as she swang on the large tire swing.
"Okay," Sera smiled. "Truthfully, what was your first kiss like?" she asked. She wouldn't get upset at his answer, but she wanted to know if he'd describe it like how she'd describe her first kiss.
"Well..." Danny replied as he would move his hands in the motion of the swing, allowing his finger tips to catch her as she approached before flexing his arms and pushing her off again, gently, but with a little gusto. "It's hard to describe I guess. It was...really exciting. Kinda like..." He was a little iffy on how to word it and have her understand and not think anything bad of him. "Like when you first realize that you're attracted to the opposite sex and you notice how pretty or handsome they are and you like to look at them and wish after them. And everything seems really fresh and new." He told her. "Course, I kinda feel like, with each new person...it's like a new first kiss, because each person's diff'rent, you know? It felt like the first time again when I first kissed you."
Sera giggled softly. She had told herself that she wouldn't get upset, no matter what his answer was, but she had really liked his answer as well.
"I see," she said a little teasingly and giggled again. "Alright, your turn to ask me a question."
"Oh uh...yeah it is," he replied. He blushed a little as he fell silent a moment trying to think of something to ask her. She had said they would start off easy, but in his opinion her first question had already been rather deep and personal and he wasn't sure how to challenge it. He wasn't good a thinking on this deep and personal stuff. "Um...what...did...you want to be when you were little?" He asked. He supposed that was a ridiculous question compared to hers, but it was the best he could think of at the moment.
Sera's smiled faded just lightly as she thought on her answer.
"A doctor," she answered softly. "My mother bought me a little fake doctor's kit whenever I was five and I played with it up until she left us," she told him. " After she left and I was forced to stay with my dad... I never wanted to be a doctor again," she said softly, leaving the rest unsaid for it to sink in a little. Then Sera picked back up.
"But I loved helping people, and to this day, I'd still like to be a doctor. I like being around others, even though I'm real timid about it. I'd rather be in a crowd that didn't know my name than to be by myself. Then the chance to show others my compassion for them," Sera smiled.
She had to think a moment on a question for him though.
"What's your favorite feature about yourself and why?"
"I think you could still be a doctor," Danny pointed out although he didn't really understand what her father had to do with not wanting to be a doctor. He thought for a while on her question though before realizing the obvious answer. "I don't think I really have a favorite feature," he said honestly. "I mean...I don't guess I really hate the way I look, but I know no one's ever thought of me as attractive. So I never considered myselft attractive either. I like that I'm in shape...but I'm a little hairy and I've always been told that girls don't like that."
He paused a moment as he started to think of another question for her.
"What was your favorite thing to do as a kid?"
Sera listened to him and giggled.
"I think you have a lot of really nice features," she told him. Then she mulled over his question, but finally just had to shrug.
"I don't know..." she finally answered. "I guess when mom was around, my favorite thing to do was help her cook... which I wouldn't consider making sandwiches and toast cooking," she giggled. "But after she was gone, I had to do chores and stuff, never really anything I liked... well, okay, I liked reading," she told him.
Then a question for him.
"Where do you see yourself in ten years from now?"
"Maybe not cooking," Danny chuckled. "But you can cook pretty good."
Her question didn't take him long to answer at all. "In ten years I see myself hopefully with a wife and a family, a house of my own and a stable, peaceful life," he said with a small laugh. "I'm ain't really hard to please and that's all I really want. I don't really know where I'll be, or by what circumstances. I was hopin' here, but that's just cause it's the only life I know how to live. Farmin's the only skill I got....What about you?" He hoped repeating the question wasn't cheating, but he really wanted to know what she thought too.
"I don't know," Sera answered. "My life is so disorganized and whimsical that I truly have no idea where I'll be and I couldn't even guess at it," she told him. "I don't know where I'd like to be because I really don't know what I want right now."
At least Sera spoke the truth, which sort of put a downer on her at the moment, but she tried to perk back up.
"And you can't repeat the question, that's cheating," she giggled. "Ask another."
