Severus Snape
With a huge yawn Severus Snape opened his eyes ready for his Wednesday morning to begin. He had taken a shower right before bed last night so stumbling out of bed the only thing on his mind was trying to find something to wear for the day. He figured he'd wear his regular robes with his Slytherin tie. He loved that tie. Humming to himself, his roomates were already downstairs. He yawned a bit grinning that he had the room to himself for once. The realization that he would be going to Potions first today filled him with joy. Slipping into his clothes quickly he looked into the mirror. "Same old crooked noise and stringy hair hmm?" Sighing the small joy he had slipped from his grasp. If he left now he may be able to practice a few potions before the rest of the class got there. The Half-Blood Prince loved his potions. With the bag over his shoulder he stepped downstairs. Leaving the common room and headed towards the potions class at the other side of the Hogwarts.
Walking down the hall he tried to move as quickly as possible. He hated walking down by the Gryffindor common room. The bullies hung out around there, and he wasn't in the mood. Not today. He was lucky to have Potions today, the only class Severus felt he could excell at. And he definitly did excel. The black hair stuck to his face as he walked, it was rather warm in Hogwarts today. And with just the slightest bit of moisture in the air it felt like a sauna. Running a pale hand through his hair he sharply turned a corner. Looking up from his black shoes he saw James Potter down the hallway, sucking in a breath he doubled back around the corner. Waiting for him to pass or leave or blow up. The last one would be most appreciated. His eyes were closed and his heart was beating fast, the other three would be close behind and he didn't feel like the torment this morning. After a moment he poked his head around the corner, he was gone. Letting out the breath that had been lodged in his throat he began walking again.
"Where're you going Snivellus?" He cringed, that was Sirius' voice. Turning around to face him he shook his head. "Please leave me alone. I really don't feel like dealing with you or any of your friends today." With that he turned and kept walking he could hear Sirius behind him though, he was probably thinking of how he was going to torture him today. Severus hung his head in shame waiting for the cruelty that was sure to be coming. He would try to fight back, he was a fair wizard, but if Lupin or James or even Peter were around he would have some trouble against all four of them. Then it happened, Sirius whispered it under his breath so he couldn't hear the words. But the effect happened immediately. Snape's teeth were aching horribly as they grew and grew. He covered his mouth, picking up his pace and heading into the lavatory. The laughter of Mr. Black was alarming and almost hysterical. Severus locked himself in a stall rubbing his gums trying to ignore the throbbing pain. It wasn't too bad, Sirius could have done a lot worse but it was emberassing.. He had Potions with Lily in less than 10 minutes. It takes 15 minutes for the spell to wear off unless someone undoes it for you.
Groaning he put his head in his hands, he probably looked like a bunny rabbit. Opening the door he made sure none of the trouble makers were waiting for him. They weren't thank goodness. He decided to run the rest of the way to the potions room. By the time he reached the room he was 5 minutes early. He went up to the professor since no one else was in yet. "Professor, can you please reverse the Densaugeo curse?" The words were studdered, over grown teeth can do that to you, luckily the professor understood what he was trying to say and nodded. The professor was used to helping out Severus since he got bullied frequently. Thanking him, he slunk back to his seat, pulling out his potions book ready to begin the class.
