Plot

So supposedly there's this murderer. And supposedly killed many people in a large city. He was never caught, and thought to have mysteriously disappeared. The man was soon forgotten, and a few weeks later some teens go on a ski trip. He happens to secretly be on that trip, in disguise. He changed his name and everything, so that no one would recognize him.

A few days into the ski trip, a blizzard hits, and the teens get snowed in their cabins, with no way out and no cell phone reception. They are trapped until the snow melts or until some form of help happens to waltz by.

Will the teens figure out who he is before anyone is murdered? Or will the killer get what he wants and get away with it once again?

I never told a lie, and that makes me a liar. I've never made a bet but we gamble with desire,

><(((*>The irritating and shrill beep of an alarm clock reached the ears of a young female teenager. A sleeping form groaned, slamming the off button on the annoying invention. The clock was silent. Sighing with happiness, the teenager tried to slip back into dreamland. A creaking door sounded, disturbing the girl from sleeping. Growling, she tried to ignore the footsteps that advanced to her bed.

><(((*>"Lizzie, honey! It's time to wake up. Have you forgotten about your ski trip?" a familiar voice whispered by the half-asleep teenager. It was her mother. No one but her mother called her Lizzie. At the mention of the ski trip, she felt herself instantly awaken, and her body shot up."That's today!?" Elizabeth Ray Mackenzie exclaimed, glancing at her alarm clock. She had just enough time to shower and do all her girly stuff. She zipped out of her room, grabbed a towel, and rushed to the bathroom, leaving her mother in her room, laughing and shaking her head.

><(((*>Liz decided not to spend too much time in her nice warm shower, so she only took about twenty minutes. As soon as she got out she dried herself off and slipped on her underwear and bra. Then she put on her dark blue skinny jeans. She paired it with a plain red tank top and threw on a black sweater with pink splatters that looked like paint all over. Elizabeth dried her hair then applied her makeup. She covered her face with foundation, added some subtle blush, then finished off with black eyeliner on her top and bottom lids, and some mascara. She didn't feel like making her makeup too fancy. As she paced around her room, trying to think of anything she could be forgetting. Then she stared down at her feet. She forgot socks! Quickly, she slipped on some white ankle socks. Then she noticed her LG Rumor phone sitting on her nightstand.Don't want to forget that!Elizabeth then grabbed her suitcase before heading downstairs.

><(((*>Once downstairs, Liz met her mother in the kitchen. Her father was probably already at work by now. Her mother was making eggs. Liz wolfed down her breakfast and ran to the door, telling her mother she'd meet her in the car. With that, she took the keys to her mom's car and dashed out the door with her suitcase.

><(((*>As soon as she reached her mother's car, Elizabeth popped open the trunk. She then proceeded to shove her suitcase in it before heading off to the driver's seat of the car. Closing the door, she started the vehicle and did her seatbelt up. As she waited, Elizabeth blasted the radio, singing along to all her favorite songs. Eventually her mother arrived, frowning as she noticed her teenage daughter sitting in the driver's seat.

><(((*>"I wanna drive!" Elizabeth declared, and before her mother could protest, the vehicle began to move.

><(((*>The ski resort was about an hour away from Liz's home. Her and her mother talked quite a bit. Elizabeth was always friendly with her mom. The two got along very well. One thing that irritated Liz though, was that her mom often complained about her driving. The whole way to the ski resort, her mom acted like a passenger driver. Elizabeth was just about ready to stop the vehicle and tell her mom to get out and walk back home if she was gonna be like that, but she didn't. One thing about her was that she was able to control her temper a little bit.

><(((*>About half an hour into the trip, the radio station they were listening to started going on about some news. They talked about the killings that happened last month. Elizabeth had heard the story of the murders many times, and there were so many theories. Not wanting to listen to it, Liz reached to change the station, but her mom pushed her hand away. The women was often paranoid, and probably wanted to see if they caught the criminal or not.

><(((*>"This horrifying criminal has not yet been caught. Police are still on the lookout for him. It appears that he seemingly disappeared. The man's whereabouts are nowhere to find. Where can he be?"

><(((*>That concluded the radio station. Not really thinking much of it, Elizabeth enjoyed the music that started to play again. In the corner of her eye, she could see her mom's freaked out expression. A lot of paranoid possibilities were probably creeping through her mind. The rest of the trip was pretty quiet.

><(((*>When they got to the resort, Elizabeth parked perfectly in the parking lot. Well, to her it was perfectly, it wasn't so much to her mom. Ignoring her blabbering, Liz walked up to the ski lodge with her mom following behind. Scanning the lodge, Liz discovered that her friend had not yet arrived. Sighing, she plopped herself into a nearby chair. Her mother sat into the seat beside her.

I've never lit a match with intent to start a fire. But recently the flames are getting out of control.

A sleeping form lay flat on her stomach in a large double bed inside a darkened bedroom. The curtains were closed, though allowed a tiny ray of light into the room through the opening in the middle, lightly casting a bright line through the room. A fan blew the air around softly as it's head turned from side to side. The clock on the nightstand read seven fifty nine in the morning. As the digital red numbers suddenly changed to eight o' clock, a peircing alarm blared through the silent room, pausing slightly in between loud beeps. Startled, and still half asleep, a messy haired brunette teenage girl shot upright in her bed, the blankets slipping off her back as she rose. In a panic, the girl, Michelle, slammed her hand down on the snooze button, letting out a sigh of relief as the noice ceased. With that over and done with, the teenager let herself fall back onto her soft mattress and closed her eyes, not willing to wake up just yet. Frankly, she hadn't any idea why her alarm clock had gone off in the first place.

Just seconds after attempting to fall back asleep, Michelle heard her bedroom door creak open, and a ray of light from the hallway cast brightly right into her eyes. Squinting, the girl wiggled over so the light was shining on the pillow directly infront of her nose. She groaned to herself when she heard the door open wider, followed by a soft chuckle from a female voice. Michelle's mother stepped in and without warning, flicked on the light. Almost blinded with the sudden light, Michelle shoved her face into the pillow she'd been laying on, refusing to move from her spot as she felt her mother sit on the bed beside her.

"Missy, wake up." she heard her mother say, feeling a hand being placed on her back, "You don't want to miss your ski trip, do you?"

At the sound of 'ski trip,' Michelle suddenly turned her head to face her mother, fully awake now. She had completely forgotten that that was today! Pushing herself upwards onto her knees with her arms, the brunette shooed her mother out of the room. Laughing, the woman swiftly exited through the doorway, followed by Michelle shutting the door behind her. Looking around, she realized that she hadn't packed anything yet. Quickly, Michelle headed over to her closet and grabbed some gray sweatpants and a plain yellow T-Shirt, slipping into them quickly before grabbing every item of clothing in her closet that she'd worn in the past few weeks, tossing them all into her suitcase. She then moved over to her dresser and pulled open the top drawer, grabbing two weeks worth of underwear and mashing that into the suitcase with the fourteen pairs of socks she'd packed. She pulled open another drawer, pulling out some feminine products, just incase. As Michelle was about to zip her suitcase shut, she caught a glance of her pajamas, and hurried over to grab them. She stuffed them into her suitcase with all of her other clothes, along with a couple towels and some hoodies, and her favorite skiing toque.

Standing up, Michelle skipped towards her vanity, and grabbed her foundation bottle from the mess of makeup that was strewn across the polished wood. Surprisingly, the girl hadn't stained or dented the fine wood surface yet with her messy habits. She squirted a small amount of the thick golden colored liquid onto a little sponge, smearing it evenly all over her small face. She then applied some powder to finish the look and get rid of the shininess of the foundation. She then grabbed her eyeliner and drew a precise line on the bottom rim of her eye with it, rubbing off a small smudge with her fingertip. She applied some mascara, and spritzed on some pineapple smelling body spray all over herself. Finished with her face, Michelle tossed her long brown locks into a loose braid on one side of her head. Smiling at herself, she grabbed all of her makeup and stuffed it into her makeup bag, shoving that into her suitcase before zipping it shut and heaving it upwards and wheeling it out of her room. On her way out, she grabbed her LG Xenon cell phone, shoving it into the pocket of her sweat pants.

Michelle finally reached the bottom of the stairs after struggling to lift her overpacked suitcase down each step, and dropped it off by the front door before heading into the kitchen. She smiled at her parents, who were both seated at the table, each with a cup of coffee in their hands. Michelle decided on making oatmeal for her breakfast, and headed over to the pantry where she grabbed a box of the maple flavored stuff. She opened the box and poured some into a bowl, adding water and shoving it into the microwave for a few minutes. The beeping announced to her that her breakfast was ready, and she pulled the warm bowl out of the box, grabbing a spoon. She joined her parents at the table and began to wolf down her breakfast.

Once finished, Michelle placed her bowl and spoon into the dishwasher. Figuring that her mother was ready to leave, the female grabbed her winter coat and shoved her arms into the sleeves, zipping it up so it was just below her neck. She grabbed her suitcase and shoved her feet into her Ugg boots, skipping out the door after calling to her mother to hurry up. Thankfully the car was unlocked, so Michelle could open the trunk and mash her suitcase into the small compartment. She was surprised the near-exploding suitcase could even fit into the trunk. Slamming it shut, the teenager got into the passenger seat, noticing her mother was already seated in the seat beside her. Within seconds, the car was pulling out of the driveway and to their destination, which was about an hour or more drive.

They reached the resport in just over an hour, and her mother pulled into a parking space in the half filled parking lot. Not waiting for the car to turn off, or even come to a complete stop, Michelle unbuckled herself and got out, slamming the door before popping open the trunk. She heaved out her suitcase, and wheeled it down the shoveled path up to the large resort. She entered the warm wooden building and noticed a familiar face sitting in a chair. A wide grin spread across Michelle's small face as she scurried over to sit in the chair with her best friend.

"Oh my god!" she squealed in an overexcited tone, "This is going to be so exciting! Don't you think?"

><(((*>Erik Matthew Dunn had slept in. He forgot to set his alarm clock earlier. In fact, he had forgotten to turn it on anyways. His mother snuck into his room after letting him sleep in for a bit and had to wake him up. Of course, the boy was extremely excited about the ski trip he and his friend decided to go on. In fact, part of the reason the two boys arranged to go was to meet girls. Typical of a boy, right? Well you could say Erik really was a typical boy in many ways.

><(((*>The teenage boy left his bedroom and went to have a fairly quick shower. He then wrapped a towel around his waist then walked back to his room. Erik rummaged through his drawers until pulling out and outfit. There wasn't much to choose from, since he had packed the night before. He pulled on some black jeans and a plain white t-shirt. Over top of that t-shirt, he pulled on a thin bright yellow sweater. He zipped it up halfway, grabbed his suitcase and trudged upstairs. Erik's room was in the basement. There, he found his mother setting a plate of bacon and an omlette onto the table. It was clearly meant for him. Smiling, he ditched his suitcase and sat in the chair where the food was placed. As Erik wolfed down his food, his mother began lecturing him.

><(((*>"You better be good, Erik! No pranks and trouble-making like you always do! Ski hills can be pretty dangerous, you kno. A lot of people get injured skiing or snowboarding..." that was how she began it. Erik rolled his eyes, he had heard this talk a lot. Ever since it was confirmed that he would go, his mother had been giving him these lectures. Then she began the conversation on how he better not get some poor girl pregnant or something."Mom! I'll be fine! And I am not gonna get some random girl pregnant!" he cut her off. She stopped talking, and chewed on her lip slightly. Erik picked up his empty plate, setting it down in the sink along with his fork."Don't worry so much! I'll even call every night, okay?" he promised. His mother simply nodded. He could understand her paranoia, seeing as his dad was killed in a terrible crash. He could tell she still hadn't completely let go. Erik smiled."Good. I'll meet you in the van," the teenage boy told his mother as he grabbed his suitcase and walked out the door.

><(((*>Not long after Erik entered their family van had his mother arrived. The whole entire trip to the skii resort was awkward and quiet. He could tell his mother was a little distressed about this. She was probably coming up with every possible way that things could go wrong. It was just the way she was. Erik knew there was no way to ease her troubled mind. Eventually they finally arrived. He gave his mom a great big hug and a kiss on the cheek, trying at least one last time to reassure her that everything would be fine. That he was a grown man and was able to look after himself. He could tell she was holding back tears. After a long goodbye, the two finally departed.

><(((*>The teenage boy stood there, watching as his mom's van disappeared out of sight. Taking a deep breath, he realized that he would miss her a lot. She would probably worry herself sick every night. Shaking his head, he dragged his suitcase and his snowboard and snowboarding equipment into the ski lodge.

><(((*>The lodge was packed full. Some people were there for a day trip, others were there for a week or so judging by their suitcases. Lots were hugging their parents goodbye. Looking around, he was pleased to see that there were tons of drop dead gorgeous girls he could hit on. Smiling, he realized that this would be a lot of fun. The boy just stood there, waiting for his friend. When he didn't come for a while, the impatient boy shrugged and walked over to the desk to check in.
